Hazzy
"The hazmat suit exploded.."
Hazzy is a hybrid Raytraxian with the genes of a fox, cat and red panda. They have red fur with darker lower arms, ears and feet. Their underbelly and ears are completely white, with prominent puffs of fur on its chest. Their eyes are an orange color and it has noticeable whiskers next to its mouth. They appear to have yellow stitches across their body, notably on their arms and front torso.
Abilities
Increased Health (Passive)
Hazzy has have slightly more health than other Raytraxians, at 115 HP.
Wearing Hazmats & Equipping Weapons
Hazzy is able to wear the Hazmat Suits found around the map, which grant it the ability to equip most weapons and items that can spawn naturally. After the player wearing it has taken 90 damage by any means, the Hazzy drops the item they have equipped onto the floor, available to be picked up by any player that is able to equip it. Upon wearing the Hazmat suit as a Hazzy, the text "You feel stronger with this thing on.." pops up, being slightly different than it's human counterpart message upon wearing the suit.
The game grants the player various messages when attempting to equip items, those being:
- "I am barely able to pick it up." (When the player successfully equips an item)
- "That item is too heavy for me!" (When attempting to pick up a Sledge Hammer)
- "I can only carry one thing at a time." (When attempting to equip an item while the player already has one)
- "That item is meaningless to me!" (When attempting to equip an item that the player is not allowed to hold)
Hazzy is able to equip the following items:
- Axe
- Bat
- Bottle
- Brick
- Crystalized Bats
- Crowbar
- Machete
- Long Pipe
- Katana
- Knife
- Nunchucks
- Taser
- Bloxy Cola
The weapons Hazzy uses are unable to stun humans (with the exclusion of crystalized bats and taser), however the ones that can normally ragdoll are still able to do so. They are unable to purchase anything from the shop, even if the item they are trying to purchase is able to be held.

Acquirement
Hazzy can be obtained by being converted by a Raytraxian while wearing a Hazmat Suit, dying to a non-instant-conversion hazard while wearing a Hazmat Suit or by getting converted by another Hazzy Raytraxian.
When a player is converted while wearing a Hazmat Suit, the dialogue "The hazmat suit exploded.." will appear.
Bestiary Entry
A cat-- er.. fox?? .. like raytrax that loves to hide itself on the inside of hazmat suits. While they do avoid attacking humans, they do like striking when a human is weakened. They are harmless if a subject is healthy, although. Hazzy seem very curious and playful, but tend to stray away from large crowds. These smaller raytrax love affection in small doses. Hazzy appear to hold grudges on humans who attack them. Many can be seen wearing hazmat suits, and using items around the facility as weapons to attack those unfortunate enough to have picked a fight with them. Only wear a hazmat suit if you are ABSOLUTELY SURE the material is safe. If you do find yourself ensnared by a Hazzy, keep your health tip top shape at all costs. |
Tips
Please note that most things listed in this section are not objective, and are not the "Correct" way to use them. This section is used to give advice to players who want to learn how to use their tools more efficiently.
- While Hazzy can wield most Weapons in the game, it's usually only recommended to use a select few of them outside of very specific scenarios.
- The best weapons that Hazzy can wield by far are the Katana, Machete, Axe, or Long Pipe due to their damage output, availability, and cooldown. The Long Pipe and Axe also has the ability to ragdoll humans, which can be very powerful.
- It usually is never a good idea to waste your one item slot on a Bloxy Cola, Bottle, Crowbar, Taser, or Bricks, as they're often either outclassed by other options or are just flat out useless on Hazzy.
- Despite Bloxy Cola being in the list of items Hazzy can hold with a hazmat, you can still pick up a bloxy cola while having a weapon equipped. This is due to Raytraxians gaining the ability to hold food items in the 2024 april fools update.
- Because of this, you cannot equip an item if you already have a bloxy cola in your inventory, and must get rid of it in order to equip a weapon.
- Similarly to humans, Hazzy gets basically no value from the Crowbar or Taser, as they do minimal damage and have an excessively long cooldown.
- Despite the Taser being one of the only other weapons Hazzy may use to stun humans, it should be considered that its damage output and overall utility is generally outclassed by Grab and Bat, making it worthless in most situations.
- While Bottles and Bricks are relatively useful for humans, Hazzy gets basically no value from them due to the fact that they can’t combo the weapons into other attacks, unlike humans.
- Despite Bloxy Cola being in the list of items Hazzy can hold with a hazmat, you can still pick up a bloxy cola while having a weapon equipped. This is due to Raytraxians gaining the ability to hold food items in the 2024 april fools update.
- Due to the fact that both the Knife and Nunchucks do not incur the omen bar nor stun its target, using either will not release a player that is currently being grabbed by another Raytraxian, allowing a high damage output in a short time window. The slightly increased range of both weapons compared to a Raytraxian's typical abilities will further enhance their capability.
- The Knife is a relatively useful weapon by itself, but due to the fact that Hazzy doesn't get value from its general utility use, it's subjectively recommended to have the Nunchucks equipped instead, if you want a weapon with long range.
- Hazzy is able to hit humans out of Spawn using their weapons, forcing them outside of the barrier, so it’s usually a good idea to try and hit a human standing too close to the forcefield to catch them off guard.
- However, it is possible for other Raytraxians to do this with grab and/or attack, if both parties are close to the barrier and the Raytraxian flicks their camera quickly.
- Since humans do not have an Omen bar, a Long Pipe or Axe can be an excellent choice, as it can consistently ragdoll humans with every attack it inflicts, combined with their large range and ability to hit multiple people, they are easily the most effective choice in fights where you are outnumbered.
Trivia
- Originally, getting converted by a Raytraxian while wearing a hazmat suit didn't turn you into Hazzy if they grabbed you, it would only work if the Raytraxian used Attack.
- Hazzy is one of the only few Raytraxians who can outright kill survivors.
- In this case, they can do so using the many Weapons they are able to equip with a hazmat suit.
- The exact classification of Hazzy's species has been a subject of debate in the community at one point.
- Blaxor, Hazzy's creator, has stated it is a fox. Other developers have disagreed and stated that it may be a cat due to sharing many feline features.
- On the loading screen's tips upon joining the game, it is confirmed that Hazzy is, in fact, a hybrid of 3 animals, although the number itself is exaggerated to a ridiculous amount (3000).
- This is most likely a joke directed at people who know about the controversy.
- All weapons that Hazzy can hold with a Hazmat Suit will retain the skin that the player currently has equipped.
- A developer has discussed removing this feature for Bats due to the guitar skins being "annoying," but it is unknown if this will actually be implemented.
- The only normal weapon that Hazzy is unable to equip is the Sledge Hammer due to controversy surrounding how easy it was to combo Grab and Sledgehammer's crit attack together upon the ability's release.
- The Chainsaw and Machete were also in this category due to them being locked behind Bandit's Shop, but due to Machetes gaining map spawns and chainsaw being removed, have been excluded from this category.
- When the player looks at Hazzy from the side, the LAMINAX logo can be seen on the arms.
- Before the transformation animations were removed, Hazzy's transformation animation had a different dialogue, this being:
"Something is wrong with this hazmat suit..."
- The new dialogue now references the fact that the Hazmat Suit "explodes" off of the players body.
- After the Hazzy's redesign in V3.1R, its Bestiary icon had many errors. This was then corrected in V3.3.
- All of the errors found on the icon are stated below:
- The stitches found around the body were not present.
- The fur around Hazzy's eyes was red instead of white.
- The white fur around the muzzle was smaller.
- The inside of Hazzy's mouth (seen on the hover icon) was red instead of yellow.
- The eyebrows were circle-shaped, instead of bean-shaped as seen in-game.
- All of the errors found on the icon are stated below:
- Before the release of V3.1, it was originally planned for Hazzy to have a Blackout variant known as Hex, but the idea was scrapped due to Hazzy's hazmat-wearing ability making the need for a new variant redundant.
Bugs
- When an Hazzy picked up a Bloxy Cola while wearing a Hazmat Suit, Hazzy was able to keep their Bloxy Cola in their Inventory even after the hazmat suit broke. This bug was patched on January 14th, 2023.
- Hazzy's Hazmat Suit used to not rip upon taking 90 damage, instead simply dropping the weapon.
- This was fixed after the V3.1 Anniversary Event as it was a bug.
- If a Hazzy ripped their hazmat by exploding a Bloxy Cola, the soda would still drop on the floor despite the fact that it was used up.
- If a Hazzy wearing a Hazmat Suit has an item equipped and a game update occurs, the item will reload, but the hazmat suit will not.
