Chainsaw
The Chainsaw is a weapon in Kaiju Paradise. It has the appearance of a typical woodcutting chainsaw, branded with the Laminax logo. Its variant, Golden Chainsaw, has its base and edge of the blades golden. Its inner blade is black in color.

Boasting the highest damage per second in the game, the Chainsaw is capable of tearing Raytraxians to shreds with ease. It deals 11 damage per hit every 0.15 seconds, which makes it capable of hitting 5 times in one second. Due to its immense power, the Chainsaw comes a variety of stipulations.
When equipping the Chainsaw, your character will have to start the weapon, preventing you from attacking for 1.5 seconds. Additionally, during this animation or attacking, you will be slowed. The Chainsaw also takes up three inventory spaces, permitting you to only have two different items in total if you currently possess it in your inventory. Upon purchasing the Chainsaw, the following text will be displayed: "You will not be allowed to enter the safezone again in 15 seconds." After 15 seconds elapse, you will be teleported out of the safezone and unable to re-enter until the Chainsaw is discarded or broken.
Every five minutes, you will be revealed to the Raytraxian team for 10 seconds. You will receive the notification "Your location has been revealed..", while Raytraxians will receive "Someone here has a chainsaw.. They might be worth some more credits.." Furthermore, the Chainsaw will be shown on your back while unequipped. Upon being infected or dying, you will reward 350 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination.
Upon breaking, text at the bottom of the screen will say: "The chain snapped into hundreds of pieces." The Chainsaw cannot be stolen by Slime Pups.
The Golden Chainsaw is an immense upgrade to an already powerful tool, dealing 15 damage per hit, and boasting a higher durability, it's capable of killing a majority of Raytraxians in all but a second. While it comes with all of the normal cons of it's normal counterpart, it additionally amplifies some of the passive effects.
Your location is revealed twice as often at every two and a half minutes, notifying Raytraxians with "Someone here has a golden chainsaw.. They might be worth some more credits.." and your bounty is increased to 1000 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination.
Oddly enough, compared to other golden weapons, the Golden Chainsaw neither sparkles, emits any glow, nor "goldifies" killed Raytraxians.
Upon breaking, text at the bottom of the screen will say: "The golden chain broke into hundreds of pieces."

As of V3.2, the Chainsaw currently has no skins.
Obtainment
The Chainsaw can only be bought from the Shop for 35 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination, however there can only be 1 Chainsaw currently in use, as attempting to buy one while in this case will result in Abble stating "not for sale now.." However, if one is available, you will be prompted with a secondary menu to confirm the purchase, as Abble will warn "you sure?? you can no be in here with THAT!!"
The only exception is on the rare occasion that there is a golden variant of the chainsaw present, which allows a normal one to be bought by a different player. On top of this, there is no limit as to how many Golden Chainsaws can be in one server.
The Golden Chainsaw can only be obtained by killing a Golden Slime variant, or destroying their gravestone.
Pros & Cons

Cons:
- Can only have one per server
- Can only have 3 items in your inventory
- Reveals player to enemy team
- Cannot enter the safezone while having a chainsaw
- You move slower while using the chainsaw
- Have to go through equip animation before using
Trivia
- One of the parts in the Chainsaw's model in the game's code, the handguard, is named "Scrub is ugly", in reference to how Scrub (known as Scrubbort in FANDOM), a former Wiki Contributor, is very ugly.
- The Chainsaw is unique in many different ways:
- It is the first melee weapon to not have a cooldown after swinging it.
- It is the first weapon to reveal where you are to other players.
- It is the first weapon to show on your back when unequipped.
- It is the first weapon to lower your maximum inventory space.
- Despite this feature, it is possible to get more than 3 items while holding a chainsaw if the user picks up an item stolen by a Slime Pup.
- It is the most expensive weapon to date, costing a whopping 35 tokens, surpassing the previous cost of the Scythe, which was 14 tokens.
- It is the first weapon to have a cap on how many players can have it.
- It is the first weapon to reward a player with extra credits upon killing its user.
- In this case, it's 350 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination with the normal chainsaw, and 1,000 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination with the golden chainsaw.
- A player will be rewarded with these credits even if you have thrown it away or broken it.
- It has been confirmed that this is a bug, and will be removed in a future update.
- If you either attack a player transforming into a Slime Pup or the body of a dead Raytraxian, you will lose weapon durability.
- Attempting to buy the Chainsaw whilst already having one prompts Abble to say "do you no already have this??" instead of the usual "you has this already!!".
- Attempting to buy the Chainsaw as a Raytraxian prompts the text "Abble won't give you the chainsaw." instead of the usual "hey!! u cant buy item!!! too goo!!"
- The icon for the Chainsaw in Abble's Shop used to disappear altogether if it was not available for purchase, but it has since been changed to have Abble tell you that it is out of stock and to come back later.
- Upon release in Kaiju Paradise Experimental, the Chainsaw had the ability to cut down the Big Tree in the Garden, giving the dialog, "What a waste..".
- The update on October 21, 2022 later changed it to where hitting the tree with a chainsaw caused the user to explode and die instantly. On October 23, 2022, the game removed that feature and instead made the chainsaw unable to cut down the tree.
- At a currently unknown date, the Chainsaw was once again given the ability to cut down the tree, though it will still give the player the dialog "What a waste.." upon doing this.
- The update on October 21, 2022 later changed it to where hitting the tree with a chainsaw caused the user to explode and die instantly. On October 23, 2022, the game removed that feature and instead made the chainsaw unable to cut down the tree.
- Attacking a Raytraxian while using the Chainsaw in debug mode will not show any text at the bottom of the screen saying that the Raytraxian was hit.
- The Chainsaw does not check for collision when it hits an enemy, meaning that the Chainsaw can hit through walls and objects. This is very likely a bug.
- When a player using the Chainsaw dies, it will drop down from the players back and onto the floor eventually fading out and disappearing after a few seconds. Only the Chainsaw and the Golden Chainsaw have this effect.
Bugs
- Currently, when a player holds the chainsaw in a private server, its engine sound doesn't play, even when using it.
