This Raytraxian has been removed from the game. There are no legitimate ways to obtain it unless tested or stated otherwise. (such as Moderator+ commands, obtaining the Bestiary before removal, etc.)

Reason: Kawaii Shork was replaced as a standalone Raytraxian by Pseudo Shork in the V3.1 Revamp Update due to being redesigned. It has since been readded, although with a revamped design and as a Costume for the Pseudo Shork. This article will only keep information about Kawaii Shork prior to its replacement.

Kawaii Shorks were the Power Outage variation of the regular Shork.

There is little difference between it and regular Shorks other than color and facial expressions, and having white stripes along its head fins and tails.

Kawaii Shork was replaced as a standalone Raytraxian by Pseudo Shork in V3.1R.

Abilities

Unique Grab Animation

Kawaii Shorks, similar to Panthers, had a unique grab animation where they appeared to be choking the player they were currently holding.

Acquirement

Kawaii Shork could be obtained by colliding with one of the fins in the Flooded Area during a Power Outage or by being converted by another Kawaii Shork Raytraxian.

Bestiary Entry

This gootrax is a lanky pink and white stripped shark like creature that likes to hide in dimly lit areas. They prefer dim lighting rather absolute darkness, thus leading to the team to believe this Shork has adapted to the more poorly lit areas of their tank. Unlike regular Shorks, this branch of gootrax is very puppy like, interacting with subjects and looking at them like a curious animal more so. However don't be fooled by its cute exterior, it is but a facade. As soon as it can catch an opportunity to strike, it WILL take it.

Trivia

• For CatteEnthusiast’s birthday on January 16th 2023, all Kawaii Shorks would wear purple scarves.
  • After their birthday, it has been changed to a 1/10 (10%) chance of wearing the scarf upon transformation, similar to the Melon Shork.
  • The command to force this variant is :tf me Kawaiishork;VIP=true in private servers.
• Kawaii Shork and Panther were the only Raytraxians with a unique “choking” grab animation. However, Kawaii Shork used to posses the normal grab animation.
• Kawaii Shork is currently the first and only Raytraxian to be removed and then readded in Kaiju Paradise, albeit with a different design and as a costume for another Raytraxian.
• Despite Kawaii Shork's removal, the Classic Kawaii Shork costume for the Pseudo Shork shows it with a revamped design, along with some extra details.

Bugs

• Upon the addition of Kawaii Shork, Shork fins didn't initiate the conversion sequence when touched, making it unobtainable. This carried over to normal Shorks after the Power Outage ended.
