Buck
"A strange looking bucket has suddenly been placed on top of you.."
Bucks are a Blackout-exclusive Raytraxian and the blackout variant of Catte.
They resemble a cat with dark grey fur and a black underbelly, paired with several black stripes on their limbs. They also have red horns and spines on their head, back, and arms, which emit a faint, red glow. They also have light red and mint green eyes.
Abilities
Increased Health (Passive)
Bucks have significantly more health than other Raytraxians, boasting 130 HP for Bucks derived from Catte. Bucks that were infected by pre-existing Bucks instead have 115 HP in total.
Throw
Unlike Catte, they do not drop their buckets upon death and cannot eject their buckets like a Catte. Instead, they have the ability to throw their bucket, dealing 15 damage to the target as well as flinging and ragdolling whoever it may hit. Throwing only works if they have the required headgear, which can be obtained by stepping on either a black or orange bucket, but not a grey one.
Buck can stack up to 5 buckets on their head. All buckets will be thrown at the same time, dealing up to 75 damage if all 5 buckets manage to hit.

Tips
Please note that most things listed in this section are not objective, and are not the "Correct" way to use them. This section is used to give advice to players who want to learn how to use their tools more efficiently.
- You can launch humans into hazards fairly easily via hitting humans with your bucket, leading to easy infects.
- For easy access to playing as Buck, it's usually a good idea to just play as Catte and wait until a Blackout starts, rather than playing another Raytraxian and trying to guess when it happens.
- Due to Buck's projectile buckets having a wide spread, as well as having collision with each other, it is very unlikely that you will actually hit someone with a full stack.
Trivia
- Prior to its HP nerf and the addition of the Nightcrawler, Bucks had the highest amount of health in the game for a non-Slime Raytraxian at 150 HP.
- Buck was originally the only Raytraxian that cannot be obtained as a Human without the help of another Raytraxian player. This was changed in an early July update, in which the obtainment method was changed so that one could only become Buck as a human.
- They are one of few Raytraxians to have a unique Bestiary sound effect.
- In this case, it plays the sound used when someone gets hit by their bucket.
- Using the Festive command as a Catte before turning into Buck will cause the Buck to keep the festive accessories.
- Trying to use "Throw" without a bucket will prompt the following text: "You need a bucket!".
- The hit sound for the Throw ability is the same as the hit sound of the removed Pipe.
- Prior to V3.1R, Buck's throw ability did 35 damage. When its ability got reworked, it was nerfed to 20 damage, which was then nerfed again to 15 due to complaints that a fully stacked buck could one-shot a player.
Bugs
- Originally, normal Bucks would lose their purple crystals upon a Blackout ending. If one were to be infected by a Buck outside of the event, they will keep the crystals. It is unknown if this is intentional.
- This has been changed to Bucks' crystals staying after a Blackout ends, and its face only glowing during one and Power Outages.
