Lang
- REDIRECT Template:CommunityGootrax
Lang was a red panda Raytraxian with light purple fur. They have large, dark purple stripes on their arms and legs as well as smaller ones on their face going from their eyes to the bottom of their face.
They had relatively short ears and fluff on their head, and their eyes were a much darker purple than the rest of their body. They had large fluffy tails, the upper part of which is colored the same dark purple as the stripes on its body.
Following Lang's removal, there will not be a new Raytraxian to replace it.
Abilities
- Proximity Gas (Passive)
Lang emit gas (0.002/s) that can go up to (0.01/s) if there are 5 of them nearby, it cannot go above that threshold. If a human fails to get out of their way in enough time, they will transform into a Lang.
-
A player being converted by Lang's proximity gas.
Acquirement
Lang used to be obtained by staying in the Gas Area found near the Flooded Area for too long or being converted by another Lang Raytraxian either by staying in its gas or being attacked by it.
It took about 10 seconds to be converted by the gas in the Gas Area. Conversion from Lang's gas passive takes longer, about 20 seconds from an individual.
Bestiary Entry
Gootraxians resembling red pandas with bodies composed of a strange, gaseous substance, Langs can be dangerous in large numbers. Try not to stick around too long near faulty gas canisters. |
Trivia
- It is one of two Raytraxians to have the Gas passive. The other Raytraxian to share this ability is the Toxic Rabbit.
- However, the Toxic Rabbit's gas is purely cosmetic.
- If a Lang converts someone with their Gas passive, it will not count as an convert and will not reward the Lang with any credits.
- In the Late Winter Update, Lang was given a new tail design.
- After Lang was removed from the game completely, the Gas Area became safe for humans to reside in as the contaminated gas that once filled the room was completely removed.
- However, since post-Halloween, the area has been made dangerous again with the readdition of hazards, such as Slime Pup and Slime Hound puddles and Slime Dragon spikes.
