Jammer
"Your ears feel comfy.."
Jammer is a wolf Raytraxian. It is the Blackout variant of Fed.
It has a similar appearance to Fed, Shade and Night Shade, having grey fur with a light grey neck fluff, underbelly, paws, and ear tufts. There are circular light blue markings along its arms and legs, with similar light blue eyes. It is often seen wearing headphones. In their VIP variant, its eyes, markings and headphones instead have an orange/golden coloration.
Abilities
Increased Health (Passive)
Jammer has slightly increased health from other Raytraxians, at 110 HP.
Headphone Drop (Death)
When killed, the headphones from the Jammer will drop to the ground, waiting to acquire a new host to step on them. However, humans wearing a hazmat suit cannot pick up the headphones, saving them from being converted.
Bounty/Boost (VIP Only)
VIP Jammers can be killed for 100 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination immediately after they spawn. For each second that the VIP is alive, an additional 1 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination is added to their total worth.
Moreover, VIP Jammer will apply a 1.5x Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination multiplier to itself and nearby Raytraxians within a limited range, awarding them with extra credits per each convert.
Diversion/Jamming
Upon being converted, Jammer will be given Diversion. When used, the song "JAMS" will play and the player will begin to bop their body alongside their right arm to the music.
Should the player be Jammer's VIP variant, they will also be given a tool called Jamming. This time, Jammer will play the same animation, however, they will now be holding a microphone up to their mouth.
For VIP Jammer, both Diversion and Jamming will play "JAMS VIP."

A Jammer preforming their Diversion ability.
Taunt
Jammer can taunt players by pressing the inspect key while Grab or Attack is equipped. Each taunt will display Jammer in one of seven possible poses, accompanied by a stylized blue-and-white burst background and a distinct sound effect. This ability is purely visual.
-
A Jammer preforming their Taunt ability.
Acquirement
Jammers can be obtained by picking up the headphones that replace fedoras during Blackouts or by getting converted by another Jammer Raytraxian, though you won't get the headphones for the latter. It takes about 27 seconds to be converted after putting on the Jammer's headphones.
There is a 1/30 (3.3%) chance of becoming its VIP variant. This chance becomes more likely depending on your Kill Streak, maxing out at a 1/2 chance at 60 kills.
When wearing the headphones, the following text will pop up:
- "Your ears feel comfy.."

Trivia
- Jammer's music for "JAMS" and "JAMS VIP" are composed by Fishcracks, and "JAMS (Virtual Fighter Mix.)" is composed by Kuriott.
- When a Raytraxian knocks the headphones off your head, the text "The headphones were knocked off your head!" would pop up.
- This does not seem to be the case outside of a Blackout, however.
- While performing certain Emotes & Emojis, Jammers will play a muffled version of a pre-existing song for that emote:
- Doing the Smug emote plays "Transit" by Fishcracks.
- Doing the California emote plays an 8-bit remix of the song "California Gurls" by Fishcracks.
- Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to get a VIP Jammer from dropped headphones, even if its from another VIP, and outside of Blackouts.
- If the player constantly hovers on and off of Jammer's Bestiary icon, the icon will play the intro of JAMS.
- If you use the Overseer Machete skin and kill a Jammer that has its headphones, it will turn invisible, making it act as an invisible "landmine".
- This also happens with the "Batsaber" and "Overseen" bat skins.
- This applies to other Raytraxians that also drop a transmogrifying item after death.
- Oddly, this is one of the Raytraxians to lack a Bestiary entry.
- Jammer is one of the few Raytraxians to have a unique idle animation, showing it holding its headphones with the left hand.
- Prior to V3.1R, the torso was shown facing forward, but as of V3.1R, the animation was slightly modified to have its torso facing right.
Bugs
- There was a minor bug in which Jammer's death face did not show upon dying, instead showing its low HP face.
- This bug also occurred with Night Shade, Fed, and Shade.
- Similar to the Slime Pup's
/e pupsitdown
bug, in the beginning of the V3.1 Late Winter update, players were able to do/e vipjamming
to play the animation that a VIP Jammer does when they use Diversion.- This "bug" still works if you are a Jammer with headphones, no matter what type you are.
