Crystal Chasm
The Crystal Chasm (formerly Crystal Caves prior to V3.2) were the first and only area that existed in Kaiju Paradise upon the game's initial release. The caves are filled with large, sharp crystals with infectious geodes around their bases that. These crystals can harm both Raytraxians and survivors, infecting the latter. and turning the player into a Kaiju by default, Manic during Power Outage, or Hebi during Blackout. Alongside the larger blue crystals, there are clusters of smaller, harmless red crystals along the walls and floors. There are two major distinctive areas within the crystal caves: the balcony and the infectious area.
The balcony runs alongside the outer edges of the Crystal Caves, acting as a connector area between multiple different locations within the facility. Within this area, multiple floodlights, barricades, boxes, trashcans, and two vending machines can be found. Strictly within the cavern, there are a few notable locations:
On the eastern side of the caves, a small waterfall with a few miniature shorks can be found. Close to this area is a Catte bucket (Buck in Blackouts) on a shelf, a Hazmat Suit spawn, a bat spawn and a Long Pipe, Machete and Sledge Hammer spawn. The western side of the caves hosts two bunkers alongside a storage area, the latter containing a Long Pipe, Machete and Sledge Hammer spawn.
Within the lower, infectious portions of the caves, a bottomless pit can be found closer to the eastern side. This bottomless pit, much like the others, will instantly kill players who fall into it. A small hangout spot with breathable air exists near the back of the lower portions of the cave, fit with a few pillows, a flood light, a Bat spawn and a Hazmat Suit spawn.
During an Event, the Crystal Caves will change in its visual aesthetic, with the color of its crystals will changing to correspond to the event.
A low, quiet drone plays in the background.

Mutation
After remaining in the Crystal Caves' lower portions for too long, fog and particles will begin to cloud the corners of the player's screen. The text "It's harder to breathe in here..." will appear and, after around 26 seconds of standing in this area, the player will gradually take damage. If the player is a Kaiju, Manic or Hebi, a unique text that states "The air feels really uncomfortable..." will appear instead, however, they will still be victim to the same gradual damage. If a human dies to the air, they will turn into a Kaiju, Manic or Hebi depending on the current Event. Raytraxians that succumb to the air will simply die.
Once reaching anywhere below 50 HP, crystals will randomly sprout from the player's body. These crystal mutations can appear in 4 different forms, however, they are purely visual. The crystals will also change color depending on the current Event.

Trivia
- There used to be a small chill area with a "safe" area for Slime Pups, but it was removed in V2.4E.
- In of a mini update to V3.1, the "Chill Area" was re-added and relocated to the Cave Garden.
- In V3.1R, it was remade to be a human refuge spot.
- In of a mini update to V3.1, the "Chill Area" was re-added and relocated to the Cave Garden.
- It was originally possible to climb the scaffolding in the cave. This, at the time, did not count as glitching and didn't break the rules.
- At the time of V3.1 Part 2, you could no longer do this legitimately, as the scaffolding had invisible walls to prevent players from climbing on them.
- As of V3.3, it is once again possible to climb on top of the scaffolding without abusing glitches.
- At the time of V3.1 Part 2, you could no longer do this legitimately, as the scaffolding had invisible walls to prevent players from climbing on them.
- There was a platform on top of the scaffolding to get across the cave, but it was removed later on.
- Originally, a Protogen puddle could be found on a shelf in the Crystal Caves. It is now replaced with a Catte Bucket.
- Players that recieve the crystal mutation during an Event will have blue crystals instead of their event's respective crystal color.
- If the player recieved the crystal mutation before an Event, the crystals' color will change.

Spawn
<tabber> |-|Spawn Room=
The Spawn Room is where you first spawn in as a survivor in Kaiju Paradise. It has everything needed to start playing the game. In it, there is a Bat spawn, a Bottle spawn, a Bestiary computer with a little garden next to it, a labcoat rack and, most importantly, Bandit's Store. There is also a weekly leaderboard on one of the walls, displaying the users with the highest kill and infect counts.
Both sides of the safe zone have a visible, non-physical barrier that survivors can enter at any time. However, if they have recently been attacked by or attacked a Raytraxian, they won't be able to enter it until the survivor has avoided combat for about 11 seconds. Survivors also cannot heal while inside the safe zone unless they use a Medkit or Bloxy Cola. If a Raytraxian attempts to pass, it will instantly kill them. The only exception to this is the Nightcrawler (albeit only in private servers), who cannot die to the spawn barrier nor any map hazard.
This barrier will fall during Power Outages or Blackouts, with Bandit's Store closing in Blackouts. After either event ends, the safe zone will emit a sound that indicates the barrier will be reactivated soon. All Raytraxians in the safe zone have about 6 seconds to leave the spawn area before being obliterated.
When a Raytraxian dies while passing the barrier, the following text will appear:

|-|Hallway=
The Hallway connects to the Spawn Room, the Flooded Area and the Main Room. The hallway contains six shelves with a scattered array of items, two barricades, plants, two ladders, forklifts, a few lockers and a trashcan to deposit unwanted items. Directly outside of the spawn isa small, garage-like room, hosting a similar set of items.
The hallway only contains two hazards, these being a Catte bucket (Buck during Blackout) bucket and a pair of Shades (Shutter Shades in Blackout) located within the garage area.

Trivia
- In previous iterations, the Hallway had cyan puddles on the floor for Slime Pups and spikes for Dragon Pups.
- The 3.1R update introduced the Bestiary function to multiple computers across the facility. Before this, the only computer with this functionality was located in the Spawn room.
- Oddly, as of V3.2, all of the unusable computers appear to be turned on, showing a LAMINAX logo screensaver.
- The barrier used to be pink, but in a June 2023 update, it has been recolored to a blue/sapphire color.
- Also, before V3.2, the Barrier used to be a transparent SmoothPlastic material, but in V3.2, it now uses the ForceField material, along with particles emitting from its laterals.
- For the USA Independence Day in 7/4/2024, a flag was added to the Spawn, tangled on a wall above one of the barriers, which prompts players to "Stand" for the flag.
- While the user is standing, the USA anthem begins to play in the background, which can only be heard by the user. After the anthem ends, the player can do other things in a sequence, seen in a Discord post here.

<tabber> |-|Flooded Area=
The Flooded Area is a large room with two exits on each side that are connected to the Hallway, Gas Area, Garden Hallway, and the Cave Garden. It has a toppled forklift, shelves, lockers and dead servers along with several boxes and crates, many of which are floating. As its name suggests, it is flooded, with water spilling from broken pipes in the ceiling, causing the area to resemble a lake. On the westernmost side of the room is a connector room which leads to the Main Hall, Gas Area and Support Cave, the latter being separated by a gate. The easternmost side showcases a small viewing room.
On several shelves and crates across the area, you can find multiple random item or weapon spawns, with a Bat spawn on a crate in the connector room. There are two vending machine spawns, a Hazmat Suit spawn on one of the shelves and three Axe cases near the Cave Garden entrance, in the flooded area and the connector room.
In the water, mini sharks can be seen gliding around and even glowing during Blackouts. Touching a shark will turn you into a Shork under normal conditions, Pseudo Shork during Power Outages or Wisp during Blackouts. You can turn into a Lemon Shork when touching them while holding a lemon slice, or a Melon Shork when touching them while holding a watermelon slice during a Power Outage or Blackout. There are two Catte buckets (Buck during Blackout) which can be found on top of a server in the flooded area and the connector room. A pair of shades (Shutter shades in Blackout) can be found on a crate near the Gase Area entrance. Within the viewing room, there is a singular Fedora (Jammer during Blackout) on a box and another in the connector room on a desk.

|-|Gas Area=
The Gas Area is connected to the Support Caves and Flooded Area. Most of the area is filled with hazardous materials, toxic barrels, boxes, shelves, lockers and other miscellaneous items. The area contains three rooms: the main room, a storage room and a connector room.
Within the main room is a bottomless abyss with a single board lying across it, creating a risky yet quick path across the abyss. Next to it is an emergency Axe case alongside a trashcan and a Long Pipe, Machete or Sledge Hammer spawn. Closest to the Flooded Area entrance is a Sledge Hammer or Medkit spawn, a Hazmat Suit spawn and a Bat spawn. Near the connector area of the room, on the bottommost portion of a shelf, is a Knife spawn.
The adjacent storage room hosts a labcoat rack, two random item or weapon spawns, and an Flashlight.
The connector portion of the area hosts a random food spawn as well as a vending machine.
The entire location is littered with Toxic Rabbit crystals (Nuclear Rabbit during Blackouts) and Catte buckets (Buck in Blackouts), many of which are found on the shelves with one sitting atop a chair on a shelf.

|-|Support Cave=
The Support Cave has supporting pillars and walkways between the Gas Area, Main Hall, Storage Bay and North Sector. It a suspended, platform-like area that is connected mainly to the Storage Bay by a large gate. The area is covered in shelves, boxes, barrels, forklifts, cones and many more items. Fences line the platform to prevent players from falling into the abyss below. Despite this safety precaution, however, there are some broken fences, creating an easy drop to death if players disregard caution.
The support caves lead to multiple areas within the facility. Travelling north, a destroyed bridge that was rudely reconstructed with wooden boards will lead you to the North Sector. Near this bridge, on a shelf, there is a Katana and Bricks spawn. Closest to the Main Hall connector, a Hazmat Suit lies on a bottom shelf.
Toxic Barrels litter the area and, upon being attacked, will fling and pour out infectious puddles. Upon touching these infectious puddles, survivors will turn into a Toxic Rabbit (Nuclear Rabbit during Blackout). Strangely, these puddles will damage all creatures except for Toxic and Nuclear Rabbits. There is also a Catte bucket (Buck during Blackout) on a crate near the Storage Bay gate.
"Past Memory" will play in the background whenever you enter the Support Caves.

|-|North Sector=
The North Sector, also called the Warhead Room, is a room connected to the Support Cave that holds a giant nuclear bomb. The bomb itself is located in a cavity filled with water. Vines litter the area, allowing players to escape should they fall into the chasm. Alongside the bomb are multiple shelves with a variety of objects, servers, palettes, barricades and forklifts. Resting just behind the bomb is a control room, where more shelving, lockers, and electronics can be found.
Within the North Sector, a Bat spawn can be found leaning against a pillar. A Long Pipe, Machete and Sledge Hammer spawn also lie near a pair of forklifts. Near this spawn is an Axe case. On the opposite side of the room, a Hazmat Suit spawns on a bottom shelf. A random food spawn may also be found on a desk near one of the control room entryways.
The control room hosts its fair share of useful tools and items, with the rightmost room containing a Flashlight and a pair of Nunchucks or a Taser. The leftmost room contains a Medkit and Bricks spawn. The leftmost room also contains a vending machine.
The only hazards located in the North Sector is a Fedora (headphones during Blackout), Catte bucket (Buck in Blackouts), and Shade (Night Shade during Blackouts.)

Trivia
- The Shork fins in the Flooded Area were client sided before it was changed into a server sided one along with the movement not pausing anymore.
- The Support Caves originally played "Blessing of the Moon" from Terraria Calamity.
- The Gas Area originally had an exclusive Raytraxian to the area, Lang.
- When it was removed, the Gas Area temporarily became safe for humans to reside in as the contaminated gas that once filled the room was completely removed.
- As of post-Halloween, this area has been made dangerous once more due to the readdition of hazards, such as Slime Pup puddles and Slime Dragon spikes.
- As of V3.1R, the puddles and spikes were replaced by neon green irradiated crystals that turn you into Toxic Rabbit.
- As of post-Halloween, this area has been made dangerous once more due to the readdition of hazards, such as Slime Pup puddles and Slime Dragon spikes.
- When it was removed, the Gas Area temporarily became safe for humans to reside in as the contaminated gas that once filled the room was completely removed.
- The nuclear bomb in the North Sector will play an ominous, low drone.
- On one of the monitors in the Control Room of the North Sector, a picture of Chris Pratt can be found.
- Next to the other bridge in the Support Caves that leads to the Cafeteria, between two cones, next to a trio toxic barrels, a banana peel can be found in front of a broken fence that throws players into the abyss when touched.
- The banana peel always throws you to the abyss when slipping on it, no matter in what direction are you running.
- In comparison to the banana peel dropped by a banana, it plays a different sound when slipped onto.

<tabber> |-|Storage Bay=
The Storage Bay connects to the Cafeteria, Support Cave, Crystal Caves and the Main Hall. The area has multiple boxes, some forklifts, shelves, plants, and many more miscellaneous items. Two large gates connect to the Support Cave and Crystal Caves portion of the Storage Bay.
On the metal racks and desk spawn a Hazmat Suit, a lemon slice, and two Medkit, bricks and taser spawns. On the ground, near Sam, a Long Pipe, Machete and Sledge Hammer spawn can be found. A singular Catte bucket (Buck during Blackout) can be found on a stack of crates. There are also a few Toxic Barrels near the entrance to the Support Cave.
Additionally, an NPC named Sam can be found here. Before the 3.2 update, he gave out errands to complete for rewards. In a later version, he did not give them out, instead saying that he is busy. He has been replaced in 3.3 with a cardboard version of himself called “Cardboard Sam”, who gives errands as usual.

|-|The Cafeteria=
The Cafeteria, otherwise referred to as the Laminax Cafeteria, is connected to the Freezer, Bathroom and Storage Bay. The Cafeteria is separated into a hallway-like area with said connected parts. All of the areas previously contained various coffee puddles for Mocha before the introduction of the Coffee item.
The hallway-like area has an Axe case outside the bathroom alongside a Hazmat Suit spawn and a Medkit and Bricks spawn, with a Catte bucket (Buck during Blackouts) on a shelf nearby. It also houses a small meeting room with a computer.
The largest part of the Cafeteria is the dining room, which is filled with many tables as well as a few shelves against the walls. Inside this area, on the tables and shelves, you can find random food items, bottles, a Flashlight and a knife spawn. It also has a pair of Shades (Shutter Shades during Blackout) on a shelf. A large tree accompanied by a few smaller trees sits against a wall as a decorative piece. The large tree can be attacked to drop a Strange Fruit, which is used to become Figs.
The second area is the kitchen itself, which is a small room with a shelf, a boombox, lockers, 2 sinks and 4 freezer units along the wall with two cones, buckets, boxes, barrels, a coffee machine and water puddle on the floor. There, burgers, tacos, pizza slices and other random food spawns exist. A Bottle may be found here as well. Within the freezer units, ice cream sandwiches and ice cream cones can be found. Eating too many ice cream cones will turn players into a Sprinklekit.
The third area is the hangout area above the kitchen which can be accessed via a ladder on a shelf within the dining hall. This area contains multiple boxes, barrels and plants. The area also contains two couches and two rugs. There is also a Bat spawn atop a box near the entrance.

Trivia
- In the Cafeteria, you were originally able to sit down on the dining table chairs, but this mechanic was eventually removed.
- Oddly enough, the Bathrooms used to lack toilets.
- In a June 2023 update, toilets were finally added into the Bathrooms.
- There used to be a recording area in the Storage Bay, but it was removed in V2.4E.
- In older versions, there was no connecting area from the Support Caves to the Storage Bay, not even through a window.
- The Cafeteria's ice cream cones originally turned you into a different Raytraxian, ConeKat.
- After its removal, the cones temporarily became harmless consumables for humans. This is no longer the case, as Sprinklekit was added.
- The Bathrooms originally had different Raytraxians inhabiting the soap bottles, Feizao and Fashui for Power Outages.
- When they were removed, the bottles changed to have a new set of text upon attempting to turn into one of them:
- Previously, if a Catte attempted to use Spill near the Bathroom toilets, the Catte would explode and die. It can be assumed that this is because the spill could be interpreted as a certain bodily fluid, resulting in questionable roleplaying.
- It was removed in V3.1R due to unintentional bugs.
- Within one of the fridges located in the Freezer, a picture of Maria Carey shattering through her icy prison was added.
- This has since been removed.

<tabber> |-|The Garden=
The Laminax Garden contains a small, greenhouse-like area that connects to the Flooded Area, Storage Room, Cave Garden and Reception. The area itself is most prominent for the tree in the middle of the room. The tree itself is surrounded by a bunch of pillows alongside a radio. Plant life grows abundent here, with hanging pots and vines decorating the room. There is also a small pool in the connector area between the Garden and the Garden Hallway with two metal shelves. The pool and the Garden Hallway are separated by a gate.
If the tree is hit, there is a chance that a Strange Fruit will fall out. The tree itself can be chopped down after tanking 75 hits from any weapon. Using a Chainsaw to cut down the tree will give the dialogue "What a waste.." If an Azarue is nearby while the tree is hit or if the tree is completely cut down, they will receive a temporary attack buff in which they inflict a poisonous gas upon attacking someone.
On two of top shelves within the Garden, you can find either an Bricks spawn or a Katana spawn. Near the small pool, there is a Bottle spawn and a random item spawn. A vending machine also lies next to one of the shelves. A small storage closet also hosts a singular bottle spawn alongside a computer and multiple lockers.

|-|Cave Garden=
The Cave Garden is an extension of the Garden that connects itself to the Flooded Area. It is composed of a large rocky room similar to that of the Crystal Caves. Instead of crystals, however, there are large flowers that may transform the player into an Azarue.
Just outside of the Cave Garden lies a greenhouse room, with multiple trees, some Strange Flowers, a Catte bucket (Buck during Blackout), and a computer. The secondary greenhouse area sports a Torch on a bottom shelf, a food spawn and the entrance to the Cave Garden itself.
There are multiple Strange Flowers strewn across the Cave Garden that, when used, can transform the player into an Azarue. Multiple trees also scatter the area, which can be attacked to drop a Strange Fruit, which is used to become Figs. These trees, similar to the trees in the Garden, can be cut down and retain the same requirements. There is a small longue area just above the secondary greenhouse with a radio that plays "No More Entities (For Now)".
Deeper within the Cave Garden is a small refuge area with makeshift wooden walls alongside wooden stakes and barrels. A small sign at the entrance reads "GO! AWAY." The refuge area contains multiple tents, barrels, boxes, and barricades. Underneath a canopy within the camp is a Torch spawn alongside a Long Pipe, Machete and Sledge Hammer spawn. just in front of it. Nearby, on a box, a Medkit can spawn as well, with two food spawns also being present in the area. There is also a radio that plays "Updated N Upgraded" and "Gas Time Jump Up".

The LAMINAX Uphills is the name given to a secret area found within the Cave Garden. It is accessible by passing through a non-collidable wall somewhere in the Cave Garden area.
When passing through the wall, players will be met with two wooden doors, of which they may pass through to enter the secret room.
The secret room is an antique-themed lounge with many unique details. There are bottles lining shelves on the wall, a singular bat spawn and multiple food spawns. The room contains a bar, an inaccessible door, numerous couches and chairs, tables, plants, a reception desk, a chandelier, and a fireplace.

|-|Storage Unit=
The Storage Unit connects to the Garden and Crystal Caves. It contains multiple shelves with a wide array of materials, barrels, crates, forklifts, and plants.
In the main area of the room, a broken elevator with a forklift and supplies contains both a Catte bucket (Buck during Blackout) and a pair of Shades (Shutter Shades during a Blackout). Nearby lies a Bat spawn and a Fedora (Headphones during Blackout) on a shelf.
Behind a line of shelves lies a smaller room containing a red rug, two couches, tacos, a forklift with a boombox, and a computer.
This area contains only two useful pieces of supplies, this being a Hazmat Suit spawn on a shelf and an Axe case. The computer may be used to view the Bestiary.
"Slumber Party" also plays on the radio in the unit.

Trivia
- The Garden originally looked completely different to its current appearance, with having no Cave Garden and had an extended chilling spot instead which had a Pipe and Catte bucket spawn. It also had a boombox that played "No More Entities (For Now)".
- There was a hoax within the community for a short time that if you cut down the tree, a pine tree would have a small chance to spawn and would drop a pine cone that turned you into a new Raytraxian. This turned out to be fake, but a pine tree was added to the game in the corridor connecting The Garden and Cave Garden for a short time during one of the Christmas events in honor of the rumor.
- The Storage Unit used to be only accessible to Raytraxians and acted as a safe zone.
- It was then made available to everyone because of several issues, particularly with game-balancing.
- One of the forklifts found in the Storage Unit is the only forklift on the map that is in working order.
- When you're close to it, you can hear its engine sounds.
- During blackouts, it will illuminate most of the room.
- When you're close to it, you can hear its engine sounds.
- In the Halloween version of the Garden Cave, it is possible to burn to death in the fire.
- Found somewhere within the Garden Cave, it was possible to find Gerald the bucket.
- Gerald did not turn black during blackouts and could not be worn by the player.
- Gerald has since been removed with the 3.1R update.
- Gerald did not turn black during blackouts and could not be worn by the player.
- The Storage Unit, prior to the V3.1R update, was composed of two seperate rooms. Since the update, the rooms have been combined.

The main room contains a desk with two computers, a boombox, multiple couches, trashcans, shelves, servers, crates, boxes and plants. Located on a box nearest to the Elevators is an Flashlight spawn. Right next to the Flashlight spawn is a vending machine. Across from the Flashlight spawn is a random Weapon spawn. On a couch located on the upper floor lies another random Weapon spawn. Nearby, on a shelf, is a Hazmat Suit and a Katana and Bricks spawn. Right next to the shelf is a vending machine. Located just before the Crystal Caves tunnel is a Axe case.

|-|Security Hallway=
The Security Hallway is small area connected directly to the Security Section. The area itself has four seperate rooms.
The hallway contains a plant, a couple of boxes, two servers and a shelf. A random Item spawn sits on the bottom shelf just beside a labcoat rack.
The rightmost rooms are connected via a one-way glass pane. Within the interrogation room is a table, three chairs, a plant and a shelf. On the table is a Knife spawn with a Medkit or Bricks spawn on the shelf. Directly next to the shelf spawn is a large plushie of Xotile, a primary developer of the game. A Catte bucket (Buck during Blackout) rests just beside the shelf. The observation room, right next to the interrogation room, containts three chairs, a computer, a shelf with boxes and a few lockers. On a stack of papers lies a Flashlight. Within this room are two developer plushies, one being Fishcracks, a retired developer and Ronin, a primary developer.
The leftmost room acts as a locker room with a few boxes and crates. Located on top of one of these boxes is a Hazmat Suit with a Bat spawn lying behind a few crates. Connected to this room is a one-stall bathroom with two sinks, a trashcan and a few boxes. A few rolls of toilet paper can be found on top of the stall divider, with grafitti above the toilet paper roll holder saying "GOOD LUCK LOL." On top of one of the boxes is a yet another random weapon spawn. The sink nearby hosts a singular soap canister used to turn into Glubby (Dagoda during Power Outage or Blackout).

Trivia
- The word 'Reception' used to be erroneously spelled as 'Reciption' in the Reception room.
- The Security Area used to be divided into 4, small and seperate rooms before the V3.1R update.
- The only room that were repurposed and used was the Interrogation Room, however now there is only one room instead of two.
Notes
- Nightcrawler goggles and Saturn bandanas have the potential to spawn in set locations across the map during their respective Events.
- The exact spawn locations for these items may be found on the interactive map on the Raytraxians page.
- There are secret areas hidden somewhere. One of them used to be a small little area, but it has been reworked 2 times and is now bigger. The place was moved multiple times.
- One of its previous locations was originally in the Crystal Caves until it was moved. As of now, this secret area has been removed.
- A wall with no collision is also used for the passage to another secret room, which is a cave.
- As of V3.2, the secret area has been readded and reworked, and is now located in the Cave Garden, accesible by passing on a wall with no collision found on one of the rocks in the upper area.
- It's also named "Laminax Uphills".
- One of its previous locations was originally in the Crystal Caves until it was moved. As of now, this secret area has been removed.
- Sometimes during specific times or real-world events, the game's map may change to the corresponding theme.
- A Christmas/Winter-theme, last seen in V3.1 Late Winter Update.
- A ruined, Halloweeny-theme, last seen in V3.1 Hallows Eve Update.
- A birthday party theme, last seen in the V3.1 Anniversary Update.
- A Minecraft-theme, last seen in 2024 April Fools.
- When Kaiju Paradise was first opened, the map was a large cube that featured no survivors and no other Raytraxians. Inside the cube featured a few blue Kaiju Crystals and vanity red ones. When a player joined, they would be instantly transformed into a Kaiju.
- Additionally, due to the game being not fighting-related, players as Kaijus could also chat and hangout with other Kaijus, and roam around.
- This version of the game was the origin of its current name.
-

- Getting out of bounds will teleport you out of there intentionally and was done for various reasons.
- All of the radios, Shop, Bestiary computer and event songs play or played unique music during event updates.
- During the Late Winter update, the radio in spawn played a remixed version of Jingle Bells by Fishcracks.
- During the April Fools update, the regular music for a Blackout was remixed by Fishcracks.
- During the Hallows Eve Update, the Shop will play a remixed version of the Ghostbusters theme song by Fishcracks.
- The Protogen puddles in Security used to be completely white until they were changed to appear with a slight blue/green hue.
- Prior to V3.2, the goo puddles found around the map used to be made of very short cylinders, but in V3.2, they are now made of MeshParts.
- When the big metal door was added, some people used it to "crush" themselves out.
- It later been patched out by having the door actually killing them from getting crushed.
- However, this mechanic appeared to be broken until V3.2, where the mechanic was added again due to some people abusing this.
- When a player gets crushed, a blood splatting sound will play along with blood coming out from the user (if "Blood" is enabled in Settings), and the message "You have been crushed." will appear.
- However, this mechanic appeared to be broken until V3.2, where the mechanic was added again due to some people abusing this.
- At the same time, the water used to be a single blue-colored transparent brick, but it now uses terrain water.
- It later been patched out by having the door actually killing them from getting crushed.
- Oddly, in V3.2, most of the big metal gates except for the one connecting to the Support Caves used not sync with the sound when opened/closed, the latter which opens/closes slower, syncing with the sound.
- This was fixed in the 2024 April Fools update and all of the big metal gates now open/close at a slow speed which syncs with the sound.
- According to a podcast, there will be another type of mutation in the future related to plants.
- Prior to V3.2, the crystals found in the Crystal Caves used to have beveled edges, but they were sharpened in V3.2.
