Removed Raytraxian

This Raytraxian has been removed from the game. There are no legitimate ways to obtain it unless tested or stated otherwise. (such as Moderator+ commands, obtaining the Bestiary before removal, etc.)

Reason: Exact reasoning unknown, though likely removed due to mass dislike of their design from the community. Glubby has been replaced by Sircu in the V3.3 update.

"Don't you feel silly using this much soap?"

Glubby was a soap-based, vibrant blue triceratops Raytraxian with bright orange eyes, beak, horns and claws. They have blue eyebrows, with a light blue face and neck fur. Their crest has three darker blue diamonds, along with dark blue scales across their whole body. Additionally, they emit a harmless orange bubble-trail from their eyes.

Abilities

Increased Health (Passive)

Glubbies have slightly more health than other Raytraxians, at 110 HP.

Slippery

Glubbies were able to use a unique Slippery ability upon reaching a 2 infection streak, in which it will drip a blue-colored puddle of soap on the ground. Survivors who step on it will promptly slip and ragdoll, dealing them 10 HP of damage and playing a cartoon slipping sound effect.

This ability takes away 2 of your infection streak upon use and a total of four traps could have existed at a time.

Acquirement

Glubby was obtained by using the soap in the bathroom 5 times consecutively — within a timeframe of 15-16 seconds indicated by soap bubbles appearing on the player's arms — or by being infected by another Glubby Raytraxian.

The dialogue when interacting with the soap bottle goes as follows:

• "Don't you feel silly using this much soap?"

If the player continues to use the soap bottle, the following will be displayed:

• "This is a bit excessive..."
• "???"
• "The bottle is empty.."

Tips

Please note that most things listed in this section are not objective, and are not the "Correct" way to use them. This section was used to give advice to players who want to learn how to use their tools more efficiently.

• Slippery was an ability that can allow Glubby to make a quick escape from Humans. It was recommended to use Slippery on Doors when making a getaway as Glubby.
• You can use Slippery to ragdoll a group of humans when attempting to pick up a Diamond Crate, increasing your chances of obtaining the crate as long as you follow where the crate moves.
  • Beware that this action may anger Humans. Use Slippery on Diamond Crates if you do not care about being chased by a horde.

Trivia

• Glubby was the replacement of Feizao.
  • It shares the same ability and acquirement as its predecessor.
• It was the first Raytraxian to have a fully modeled mouth.
  • Likely due to this, only its eyes show its expressions.
• If the player interacts with a soap bottle after having already become a Glubby, dialogue will appear stating: "You're already made out of soap.." alongside "Sharing was caring.." or "Be mindful..."
  • This dialogue was shared with Dagoda.
  • Non-Soap Raytraxians will be met with a different dialogue that simply states: "You don't need any soap.."
• Before it was officially released, its silhouette appeared in the Bestiary in the Experimental Build. However, it was unobtainable.
  • This might've been accidental, since its (at the time unreleased) model and assets could be seen in the Experimental branch for a short while.
• Glubby was one of the only few Raytraxians who can outright kill survivors.
  • In this case, they can do so by using the Slippery ability, like Dagoda.
  • The only other Raytraxians who can outright kill survivors to this day are Dagoda, Hebi, Buck, Hazzy, and Nightcrawler.
• If the player constantly hovers on and off of Glubby's Bestiary icon, the icon will spin and play the Slippery sound.
  • This was shared with Dagoda.
• Glubby's design was slightly modified in V3.1R, removing the blue cheeks and orange part on its abdomen.
• Oddly, its one of the few Raytraxians to lack a Bestiary description.
