Raytraxians

Gootraxians are the opposing team to humans found in Kaiju Paradise. They are composed of a goo-like substance and are usually capable of infecting humans, turning them into fellow Gootraxians, but some are capable of actually killing them.

When a human player loses all of their HP or "dies" as a result of hazards around the map, they will turn into a Gootraxian. Some suspicious items around can also infect them into their kind.

Basic Abilities

Many Gootraxians have their own unique abilities that can be found within their respective entries, but almost all have two basic abilities: Grab and Attack. Attack is typically a quick swipe functionally similar to most survivor melee weapons, while Grab allows one to grapple a survivor, dealing lifesteal, and allowing you to utilize environmental hazards or move them into a unfavorable position.

Attack

Attack as stated, is a quick swipe that deals solid damage and allows for quick and efficient finishers, granting you 30 HP regen upon success infect. This attack however does not knockback nor stun survivors. In tandem with Grab, it is possible to deal a large amount of damage to a single survivor by swapping to Attack after Grab, as the cooldown of Grab expires while grabbing a survivor.

Some Gootraxians deal more damage, such as Carneline during Power Outages, or in some cases reduced damage, such as Dragon Pup's flying attack.

Grab

Grab allows one to grab their enemy, dealing a high amount of damage over the duration of the Grab. During the grab, you can slowly move your victim into environmental hazards such as puddles, spikes, crystals, and shadows, allowing for a quicker infection. While doing so, the health regen will increase significantly and gain 15 HP upon a successful infect.

In order to escape a grab, a player must mash their screen, keyboard, or mouse; alternatively if the Gootraxian grabbing the player is interrupted by an attack, they will usually release their victim. This click count increases every time they escape from it from a minimum 15 to 30 click counts at max on one life. This can be reduced by killing goos which decreases it by 2 click count.

The damage of Grab is dealt every .2 seconds and is modified by the hazmat suit, which divides the damage by 1.25. Grabs can also be entirely prevented by using a Scythe at the cost of durability. Some Gootraxians also have abilities that add effects to the grab, such as the unique animation of Panther, or Lemon Shork's ability to blur the victim's screen.

Grab is also one of the few abilities that incurs a cooldown upon being swapped to.

Removed Transfurs

• Charem - Removed in V3D due to controversies regarding its creator, involving inappropriate actions made publicly online.
• Trystan - Added on V0.1 Accidental Update<ref>Update log of Trystan's releasehttps://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/821538165873049630</ref>. Removed in V3.1 per request from FoxxoTrystan, due to trust issues between both parties.
• ConeKat - Originally came from Resurgenced and was added in V2.4<ref>Update log of ConeKat's release https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/833259380111704065</ref>. Removed for the same reason as Trystan.
• Tiger Shork - Added in V3.0. Can no longer be obtained through normal means as of V3.1 onwards and was replaced by Lantern Shork. This is due to the design being too similar to the transfur from a certain game inspired by it.
  • It is still usable in private servers through the use of commands, as long as it had been unlocked in the bestiary prior to its removal.

Beastiary

The above table is organized to resemble the in-game Beastiary, which was added in the first part of V3.1. The Beastiary serves the purpose of allowing players to view additional information regarding Gootraxians, such as a detailed description, how many you have killed, infects obtained while using them, and how many times you have become them. Hovering over icons inside of the Beastiary will change the icon to an alternative art, and doing it multiple times will sometimes gives you an easter egg.

Entries can be unlocked by infecting 5 survivors in a row as the Gootraxian, or by killing the specific Gootraxian you wish to unlock 5 times. The only exceptions to this are the Slime Pups, which are obtained upon becoming them.

Do note that some of the bestiary entries does not have a description yet as they are not finished at the time being.

Trivia

• In the previous game, The Underground Facility, the infected creatures were referred to as latex monsters, but due to copyright issues with the creator of the game it was based on, it was completely shut down, with TZB Studio beginning work on Kaiju Paradise and The Final Experiment instead shortly after.
• The only transfurs to have been migrated from The Underground Facility to Kaiju Paradise are Charem, Protogen, Tiger Shork and Trystan. Three of these have been removed from the game for reasons stated under the previous heading.
• Any hair accessories being worn at the time of infection will change color depending on what Gootraxian you become.
  • All slime variants as well as Figs and Nightcrawler, are the only Gootraxians that remove an avatar's hair accessories upon transformation.
• Currently, the Diamond Slime Dragon Pup Fusion variants have the highest health out of all the Gootraxians at 925 HP; Dragon Pups and Slime Pups hold the lowest at 83 HP, without fusing and a hat, respectively.
• All art for the Bestiary was done by Mysticalesta.
• The meshes for goos such as the cheeks or tails are made by Ronin.
• Most of the face assets are made by Blaxor, although a few have been made by someone else.

Known Bugs

NOTE: Most bugs that are noted here are from previous versions. They have been fixed and cannot be replicated in the game's current, most stable version.

• There was a bug in which Fashui's tail would not appear to glow during a Power Outage, but would still produce light.
• Wearing a certain avatar item would allow you to use the katana weapon as a Gootraxian. This could be done if the player rapidly switched between katana skins in Abble's Shop.
• A bug where this hat would not be removed upon transformation.
• Because a glitch involving humans breaking when an item is depleted, it is currently impossible to play as Sprinklekit as of 3/8/2022 due to players not being able to eat the required amount of ice creams.
• You would be able to do a combo attack & grab to the person after they escape grab or if you cancel it.
  • This was fixed by making the grab have cooldown upon equipping it.
• Goo grabs can be used to glitch people out of the map or to the void.
  • This was mostly fixed, but can still happen rarely from time to time.
• There was no limit to the grab count and it increased every time a person gets grabbed, not escape from it. This means that Goos could keep grabbing them until it reaches an absurd number of grab clicks.
  • This has been fixed with the grab limit working properly now and the grab click only increasing every time you escape from it, not getting grabbed.
