The Crowbar is a weapon in Kaiju Paradise. It has the appearance of a handheld crowbar. Its variant, Golden Crowbar, has a soft glow and sparkles.

Properties

Ill-suit for combat, the Crowbar deals significantly less damage than the bat and has a much longer cooldown, but has a 2.25X damage multiplier to vending machines<ref>https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/510886407770734645/992738579161813082/unknown.png Update log of Crowbar dealing more damage on Vending Machines.</ref>, thus making it the best weapon to use for breaking vending machines and obtaining colas and, by extension, tokens.

Upon breaking, text at the bottom of the screen will say: "The crowbar snapped in half."

Still lackluster as a weapon, the Golden Crowbar is undisputedly the best weapon for grinding tokens and obtaining colas in-game. Capable of destroying vending machines in just 5 hits, it is resigned to being highly effective at its niche role.

Upon breaking, text at the bottom of the screen will say: "The golden crowbar snapped in half."

• The Crowbar,Axe, Knife, Sledge Hammer, Katana and the Machete, share the same breaking sound effect.

As of V3.3, the Crowbar currently has 1 skin.

Obtainment

The Crowbar can be purchased from Bandit's Shop for 8 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination, or random places around the map.

The Golden Crowbar can only be obtained by getting a 30 Kill/Infect streak with a Crowbar used for the 30th kill.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

• Decent knockback
• Can be purchased at Bandit's Shop
• Does high damage against vending machines

Cons:

• low damage against players
• Long cooldown
• Higher stun duration than the bat

Tips

Please note that most things listed in this section are not objective, and are not the "Correct" way to use them. This section is used to give advice to players who want to learn how to use their tools more efficiently.

• It is highly recommended to not use the crowbar under any circumstances, as it is expensive, has an extremely long cooldown, and does minimal damage to Raytraxians.
  • Although situational, it can be used in combination with a Knife user to rack up a lot of damage due to the Crowbar's higher-than-average stun time and the Knife's ability to ignore stun damage reduction.
    • It is usually recommended to use a Sledge Hammer for this instead, as it has an even longer stun time.
• If possible, try to find the crowbar naturally if you intend to break open Vending Machines. This saves you some tokens, as the crowbar is expensive.
• Due to the crowbar's low durability, you'll only be able to break open two Vending Machines per crowbar, and while you will make a profit using it, you'd get much more value out of just using a Bat to break them, as they are free.
  • This is untrue of the golden crowbar, as you will be able to break open four Vending Machines instead of two due to its much higher damage towards Vending Machines.

Trivia

• Its tool-tip description is, of course, a reference to the Half-Life series and its main protagonist, Gordon Freeman, who uses a crowbar for a melee weapon.
  • This is further proven by the Crowbar's one and only skin, Freeman, directly referencing the crowbar model from Half Life and the protagonist's name.
