Crystal Caves
The Crystal Caves were the first area in Kaiju Paradise. It was the only area that existed when the game first went public. The caves are filled with large, sharp crystals with puddles around their bases. These crystals, which can harm and infect survivors, grow on the walls and floor. There are also clusters of smaller, harmless red crystals along the walls and floors. It also features a balcony to see through the Crystal Caves.
When walking in the caves, you can find a waterfall with Shork mini sharks.
However, there is also a bottomless pit on the left-back side of the caves, whick kills players if falling into them.
During an Event, the Crystal Cave will change in its visual aesthetic and the color of its crystals and puddles will change corresponding to the event.
There is a Hazmat Suit spawn, one Bat spawn and a random weapon spawn near the Storage Bay. You can also find two vending machine spawns.
Inside the Crystal Cave, you can find crystals for the Kaiju by default, Manic during Power Outage, and Hebi during Blackout. A Catte bucket (Buck in Blackouts), and puddles for Slime Pups can be found here as well.

Mutation
If you stay too long in the lower parts of the cave as a human, fog and sparkles start to build up around the player's screen. The text "It's harder to breathe here.." will appear and the player will start losing HP along with crystals growing on their body near death which remain after turning into a Gootraxian. The crystals are in random places of the body each time. If they were a Gootraxian, they would die.

Trivia
- There used to be a small chill area with a "safe" area for Slime Pups, but it was removed in V2.4E.
- In of a mini update to V3.1, the "Chill Area" was re-added and relocated to the Cave Garden.
- In V3.1R, it was remade to be a human refuge spot.
- It was originally possible to climb the scaffolding in the cave. This, at the time, did not count as glitching and didn't break the rules.
- As of V3.1 Part 2, you can no longer do this legitimately, as the scaffolding has invisible walls to prevent players from climbing on them.
- There was a platform on top of the scaffolding to get across the cave, but it was removed later on.
- Originally, a Protogen puddle could be found on a shelf in the Crystal Caves. It is now replaced with a Catte Bucket.
- There are 4 different variations of the mutated crystals.
-

Spawn
<tabber> |-|Spawn Room=
The Spawn Room is where you first spawn in as a survivor in Kaiju Paradise. It has everything needed to start playing the game. In it, there is a Bat spawn, a Bottle spawn, a Bestiary computer with a little garden next to it, a labcoat rack and, most importantly, Abble's Store. There is also a weekly leaderboard on one of the walls, displaying the users with the highest kill and infect counts.
Both sides of the safe zone have a visible, non-physical barrier that survivors can enter at any time. However, if they have recently been attacked by or attacked a Gootraxian, they won't be able to enter it until the survivor has avoided combat for about 11 seconds. Survivors also cannot heal while inside the safe zone unless they use a Medkit or Bloxy Cola. If a Gootraxian attempts to pass, it will instantly kill them. The only exceptions to this are rare variants and the Nightcrawler (albeit only in private servers), who cannot go into the safe zone except during events.
This barrier will fall during Power Outages or Blackouts, with Abble's Store closing in Blackouts. After either event ends, the safe zone will emit a sound that indicates the barrier will be reactivated soon. All Gootraxians in the safe zone have about 6 seconds to leave the spawn area before being obliterated.
When a Gootraxian dies while passing the barrier, the following text will appear:
- "Your entire body has been obliterated..."
The radio in the spawn room will play either "Gas Time Jump Up" or "Updated N Upgraded".

|-|Hallway=
The Hallway connects to the Spawn Room, the Flooded Area and the Main Room. There is a garage door separating the hallway from the main room. The hallway contains six shelves with a scattered array of items, two barriers, plants, two ladders, forklifts, a few lockers and a trashcan to deposit unwanted items. Within this area is also a small, garage-like room just outside of the spawn gate.
The hallway only contains two hazards, these being a Catte bucket (Buck during Blackout) bucket and a pair of Shades (Shutter Shades in Blackout) located within the garage area.

The Main Hall is connected to the Hallway, Server Room and Cargo Bay. It contains a forklift, two plants, four shelves and two servers along with several cones, crates and barrels.
You can find two random weapon spawns on two of the shelves and an Axe case near the connecting corridor to the Storage Bay.
There is a bursting bunch of Kaiju crystals (Manic and Hebi during their respective events) on one wall and a large number of pink puddles for Slime Hounds within the area. Catte buckets (Buck during Blackout) will also spawn in the area.

Trivia
- In previous iterations, the Hallway had cyan puddles on the floor for Slime Pups and spikes for Dragon Pups.
- The 3.1R update introduced the Bestiary function to multiple computers across the facility. Before this, the only computer with this functionality was located in the Spawn room.
- Oddly, as of V3.2, all of the unusable computers appear to be turned on, showing a LAMINAX logo screensaver.
- The barrier used to be pink, but in a June 2023 update, it has been recolored to a blue/sapphire color.
- Also, before V3.2, the Barries used to be a transparent SmoothPlastic material, but in V3.2, it now uses the ForceField material, along with particles emmiting from its laterals.
North-West Wing
<tabber> |-|Flooded Area=
The Flooded Area is a large room with two exits on each side that are connected to the Hallway, Gas Area, Storage Room and the Cave Garden. It has a toppled forklift, shelves, lockers and dead servers along with several boxes and crates, many of which are floating. As its name suggests, it is flooded, with water spilling from broken pipes in the ceiling and causing the area to resemble that of a lake.
On several shelves and crates in the room, you can find three random item or weapon spawns. There is a vending machine spawn, a Hazmat Suit spawn on one of the servers and an Axe case near the Cave Garden entrance.
In the water, Shork mini sharks can be seen gliding around and even glowing during Blackouts. Touching a fin will turn you into a Shork under normal conditions, Pseudo Shork during Power Outages or Wisp during Blackouts. You can turn into a Lemon Shork or a Watermelon Shork if you meet certain conditions. There is also a Catte bucket (Buck during Blackout) which can be found on top of a server, and a pair of shades (Shutter shades in Blackout) on a crate, both on the opposite side of the room.

|-|Gas Area=
The Gas Area is connected to the Support Caves and Flooded Area. Most of the area is filled with hazardous materials and barrels. There is a bottomless abyss in the middle of the area with a single board lying across it, creating a risky path. Next to it is an emergency Axe case.
It contains three rooms with multiple shelves and lockers, with a rack of labcoats being located in the second room nearest to the Flooded Area. The shelf closest to the Flooded Area will spawn a Hazmat Suit with a Sledgehammer, Medkit or Pipe spawn on a stack of boxes. Right next to the Flooded Area door is a Bat spawn. The adjacent room hosts two random item spawns, a random weapon spawn and a Flashlight. Near the end of the room, on the bottommost portion of a shelf, is a Knife spawn.
The connector portion of the area hosts a random food spawn as well as a vending machine.
The entire location is littered with Toxic Rabbit crystals. Catte buckets (Buck in Blackouts) can also be found on some of the shelves, with one being on a chair atop a shelf.

|-|Support Cave=
The Support Cave has supporting pillars and walkways between the Gas Area, Main Hall, Storage Bay and North Sector. It is connected to the Storage Bay by a large gate. Fences line the platform, preventing players from falling. However, some portions of the fence are broken, creating a gap that allows players to fall into the abyss.
Multiple connector areas lead into different portions of the facility. Travelling north, a destroyed bridge that was rudely reconstructed with wooden boards surrounded by a bottomless pit will lead you to the North Sector. Near this bridge, on a shelf, there is a Katana and Bricks spawn. Close to the Main Hall doorway, a Hazmat Suit and a Bat spawn lie on the bottommost shelves. On a topmost shelf is a small plushie of Xotile, a primary developer of the game.
There is a small connector room between the Main Hall and the Support Cave. Within this small area is three shelves, a ladder, a plant, a desk and a labcoat rack. There is an Axe case right beside the Suppport Cave door. Alongside this, there is a Fedora (Jammer during Blackout) on a desk, a Catte bucket (Buck during Blackout) on a shelf and a Slime Hound puddle on the floor.
Toxic Barrels litter the area and, upon being attacked, will fling and pour out infectious puddles. These puddles are Toxic Rabbit (Nuclear Rabbit during Blackout). Strangely, these puddles will damage both Gootraxians and humans. The only creatures unaffected by the substance are Toxic and Nuclear Rabbits. There is also a Catte bucket (Buck during Blackout) on a crate and two Slime Hound puddles near the Storage Bay gate.
"Past Memory" will play in the background whenever you enter the Support Caves.

|-|North Sector=
The North Sector, also sometimes called the Warhead Room, is a room connected to the Support Cave that holds a giant nuclear bomb. The bomb itself is located in a cavity filled with water. Vines litter the area, allowing players to escape should they fall into the chasm. Alongside the bomb are multiple shelves with a variety of objects, servers, palettes, barricades and forklifts. Resting just behind the bomb is a control room, where more shelving, lockers, and electronics can be found.
Within the North Sector, a bat spawn can be found leaning against a pillar. A scythe and pipe spawn also lie near a pair of forklifts. Near this spawn is an axe case. On the opposite side of the room, a Hazmat Suit spawns on a bottom shelf. A random food spawn may also be found on a desk near one of the control room entryways.
The control room hosts its fair share of useful tools and items, with the rightmost room containing a Flashlight and a pair of nunchucks. The leftmost room contains a Medkit and bricks spawn. The leftmost room also contains a vending machine.
The only hazards located in the North Sector is a Fedora (headphones during Blackout), Catte bucket (Buck in Blackouts), and Shade (Nightshade during Blackouts.)

Trivia
- The Shork fins in the Flooded Area were client sided before it was changed into a server sided one along with the movement not pausing anymore.
- The Support Caves originally played "Blessing of the Moon" from Terraria Calamity.
- The Gas Area originally had an exclusive Gootraxian to the area, Lang.
- When it was removed, the Gas Area temporarily became safe for humans to reside in as the contaminated gas that once filled the room was completely removed.
- As of post-Halloween, this area has been made dangerous once more due to the readdition of hazards, such as Slime Pup puddles and Slime Dragon spikes.
- As of V3.1R, the puddles and spikes were replaced by neon green irradiated crystals that turn you into Toxic Rabbit.
- When it was removed, the Gas Area temporarily became safe for humans to reside in as the contaminated gas that once filled the room was completely removed.
- The nuclear bomb in the North Sector will play an ominous, low drone.
- On one of the monitors in the Control Room of the North Sector, a picture of Chris Pratt can be found.

<tabber> |-|Storage Bay=
The Storage Bay connects to the Cafeteria, Support Cave, Crystal Caves and the Main Hall. It is an area that has an Axe case. It also has 4 floodlights, a stack of cones, 2 barrels and multiple crates, forklifts, pallet stacks and metal racks. There is a large gate that allows you to enter the Support Caves.
On the metal racks spawns a Hazmat Suit, a lemon slice, a Medkit, bricks or a taser. A singular Catte bucket (Buck during Blackout) can be found on a stack of crates. There are also a few Toxic Barrels near the entrance to the Support Cave. Within the area is a gate which can be closed by pressing a nearby button. However, it will always be open during Blackouts until the event is over.
Additionally, an NPC named Sam can be found here. Before the 3.2 update, he gave out errands to complete for rewards. He does not give them out anymore, instead saying he's busy.

|-|The Cafeteria=
The Cafeteria can be identified as the Laminax Cafeteria and is connected to the Freezer, Bathroom and Storage Bay. The Cafeteria is separated into a hallway-like area and 3 connected parts. All of the areas contain various coffee puddles for Mocha.
The hallway-like area has an Axe case outside the bathroom alongside a Hazmat Suit spawn and a Medkit or Bricks spawn. The larger part is the dining area is filled with Cafeteria tables as well as a few shelves against the walls. Inside this area, on the tables and shelves, you can find random food items, bottles, a Flashlight and a knife spawn. It also has a pair of Shades (Shutter Shades during Blackout) on a shelf. A large tree accompanied by a few smaller trees sits against a wall as a decorative piece. The large tree can be attacked to drop a Strange Fruit, which is used to become Figs.
The second area is the kitchen itself which is a small room with a shelf, a boombox, lockers, 2 sinks and 4 freezer units along the wall with several cones, buckets, boxes, barrels, a coffee machine and little water puddles on the floor. You can find burgers, tacos, pizza slices and other random food spawns scattered about the room. Bottles may be found here as well. Within the freezer units, ice cream sandwiches and ice cream cones can be found. Eating too many ice cream cones will infect you, to become a Sprinklekit.
The third area is the hangout area above the kitchen. This area contains multiple boxes, barrels and plants. The area also contains two couches and two rugs alongside a computer. Within this area, a Bat spawn sits atop a box.

Trivia
- In the Cafeteria, you were originally able to sit down on the dining table chairs, but this mechanic was eventually removed.
- Oddly enough, the Bathrooms used to lack toilets.
- In a June 2023 update, toilets were finally added into the Bathrooms.
- There used to be a recording area in the Storage Bay, but it was removed in V2.4E.
- In older versions, there was no connecting area from the Support Caves to the Storage Bay, not even through a window.
- The Cafeteria's ice cream cones originally turned you into a different Gootraxian, ConeKat.
- After its removal, the cones temporarily became harmless consumables for humans. This is no longer the case, as Sprinklekit was added.
- The Bathrooms originally had different Gootraxians inhabiting the soap bottles, Feizao and Fashui for Power Outages.
- When they were removed, the bottles changed to have a new set of text upon attempting to turn into one of them:
- Previously, if a Catte attempted to use Spill near the Bathroom toilets, the Catte would explode and die. It can be assumed that this is because the spill could be interpreted as a certain bodily fluid, resulting in questionable roleplaying.
- It was removed in V3.1R due to unintentional bugs.
- Within one of the fridges located in the Freezer, a picture of Maria Carey shattering through her icy prison was added.

<tabber> |-|The Garden=
The Laminax Garden contains a small, greenhouse-like area that connects to the Flooded Area, Storage Room, Cave Garden and Reception. The area itself is most prominent for the tree in the middle of the room. The tree is surrounded a bunch of pillows alongside a radio. The area also contains other plant life including hanging pots and vines on the roof and walls. There is also a very small pool to the right of the garden with two metal shelves. The pool and the main area is separated by a gate.
If the tree is hit, there is a chance that a Strange Fruit will fall out. The tree itself can be chopped down after tanking 75 hits from any weapon. Using a Chainsaw to cut down the tree will give the dialogue "What a waste.." If an Azarue is nearby while the tree is hit or if the tree is completely cut down, they will receive a temporary attack buff in which they inflict a poisonous gas upon attacking someone.
You can find multiple Strange Flowers on the bushes below the platforms leading to the Cave Garden. On two of the top shelves, you can find either an Bricks spawn or a Katana spawn. Near the small pool, there is a Bottle spawn and a random item spawn. A vending machine also lies next to one of the shelves.

The Cave Garden is an extension to the Garden that connects itself to the Flooded Area. It is composed a large rocky room similar to that of the Crystal Caves. However, this cave lacks crystals. There is also some large flowers found around the Garden, which transform the player into an Azarue when touching them.
There is a small refuge area with a makeshift wooden wall with wooden stakes and barrels. A small sign at the entrance reads "GO! AWAY." Within the refuge area is multiple tents, barrels, boxes and barricades. Near a red tent, sitting on a box, is a Scythe and Pipe spawn. Near this also lies a radio. Within the red tent is a random food spawn.
There are a few Strange Flowers growing all over in area which can be used to become a Azarue. Multiple trees also scatter the area, which can be attack to drop a Strange Fruit, which is used to become Figs. These trees, similar to the tree in the Garden, can be cut down and retain the same requirements. In the small entrace that connects the Cave Garden to the Garden is a Catte bucket (Buck during Blackout).

Trivia
- The Garden originally looked completely different to its current appearance, with having no Cave Garden and had an extended chilling spot instead which had a Pipe and Catte bucket spawn. It also had a boombox that played "No More Entities (For Now)".
- There was a hoax within the community for a short time that if you cut down the tree, a pine tree would have a small chance to spawn and would drop a pine cone that turned you into a new Gootraxian. This turned out to be fake, but a pine tree was added to the game in the corridor connecting The Garden and Cave Garden for a short time during one of the Christmas events in honor of the rumor.
- The Storage Unit used to be only accessible to Gootraxians and acted as a safe zone.
- It was then made available to everyone because of several issues, particularly with game-balancing.
- One of the forklifts found in the Storage Unit is the only forklift on the map that is in working order.
- When you're close to it, you can hear its engine sounds.
- During blackouts, it will illuminate most of the room.
- In the Halloween version of the Garden Cave, it is possible to burn to death in the fire.
- Found somewhere within the Garden Cave, it was possible to find Gerald the bucket.
- Gerald did not turn black during blackouts and could not be worn by the player.
- Gerald has since been removed with the 3.1R update.
- The Storage Unit, prior to the V3.1R update, was composed of two seperate rooms. Since the update, the rooms have been combined.
- When the big metal door was added, some people used it to "crush" themselves out.
- It later been patched out by having the door actually killing them from getting crushed.
- However, this mechanic appeared to be broken until V3.2, where the mechanic was added again due to some people abusing this.
- When a player gets crushed, the text "You have been crushed..." will apear, and a metal clinging sound will play.
- However, this mechanic appeared to be broken until V3.2, where the mechanic was added again due to some people abusing this.

The Security Hallway is small area connected directly to the Security Section. The area itself has four seperate rooms.
The hallway contains a plant, a couple of boxes, two servers and a shelf. A random Item spawn sits on the bottom shelf and a Scythe or Pipe spawn can be located behind a stack of boxes.
The rightmost rooms are connected via a one-way glass pane. Within the interrogation room is a table, three chairs, a plant and a shelf. On the table is a Knife spawn with a Medkit or Bricks spawn on the shelf. Directly next to the shelf spawn is a large plushie of Xotile, a primary developer of the game. A Catte bucket (Buck during Blackout) rests just beside the shelf. The observation room, right next to the interrogation room, containts three chairs, a computer, a shelf with boxes and a few lockers. On a stack of papers lies a Flashlight. Within this room there is also two developer plushies, one being Fishcracks, a retired developer and Ronin, a primary developer.
The leftmost room acts as a locker room with a few boxes and crates. Located on top of one of these boxes is a Hazmat Suit with a Bat spawn lying behind a few crates. Connected to this room is a one-stall bathroom with two sinks, a trashcan and a few boxes. A few rolls of toilet paper can be found on top of the stall divider, with grafitti above the toilet paper roll holder saying "GOOD LUCK LOL." On top of one of the boxes is a yet another random weapon spawn. A Slime Hound puddle also lies on the floor besides the sinks, of which have soap canisters to turn into Glubby (Dagoda during Power Outage or Blackout).

Trivia
- The word 'Reception' used to be erroneously spelled as 'Reciption' in the Reception room.
- The Security Area used to be divided into 4, small and seperate rooms before the V3.1R update.
- The only room that were repurposed and used was the Interrogation Room, however now there is only one room instead of two.
Notes
- Nightcrawler goggles and Saturn bandanas have the potential to spawn in set locations across the map during their respective Events.
- The exact spawn locations for these items may be found on the interactive map on the Gootraxians page.
- There are secret areas hidden somewhere. One of them used to be a small little area, but it has been reworked 2 times and is now bigger. The place was moved multiple times.
- One of its previous locations was originally in the Crystal Caves until it was moved. As of now, this secret area has been removed.
- A wall with no collision is also used for the passage to another secret room, which is a cave.
- Sometimes during specific times or real-world events, the game's map may change to the corresponding theme.
- A Christmas/Winter-theme, last seen in V3.1 Late Winter Update.
- A Minecraft-theme, last seen in V3.1 April Fools 2022.
- A ruined, Halloweeny-theme, last seen in V3.1 Hallows Eve Update.
- A birthday party theme, last seen in the V3.1 Anniversary Update.
- When Kaiju Paradise first opened, the map was a very small cube that featured no survivors and no other Gootraxians. Inside the cube featured a few blue Kaiju Crystals and vanity red ones. When joined, you immediately spawned in as a Kaiju.
- This version of the game was the origin of its current name.
- Getting out of bounds will teleport you out of there intentionally and was done for various reasons.
- All of the radios, Abble's Shop, Bestiary computer and event songs play or played unique music during event updates.
- During the Late Winter update, the radio in spawn played a remixed version of Jingle Bells by Fishcracks.
- During the April Fools update, the regular music for a Blackout was remixed by Fishcracks.
- During the Hallows Eve Update, Abble's Shop will play a remixed version of the Ghostbusters theme song by Fishcracks.
- The Protogen puddles in Security used to be completely white until they were changed to appear with a slight blue/green hue.
- Prior to V3.2, the goo puddles found around the map were made of very short cylinders, causing them to look like "plastered circles".
- However, as of V3.2, the puddles are now uniquely modeled, now using unique meshes instead of cylinders.
- Oddly, in V3.2, most of the big metal gates except for the one connecting to the Support Caves do not sync with the sound when opened/closed, the latter which opens/closes slower, syncing with the sound.
- According to a podcast, there will be another type of mutation in the future related to plants.
- Prior to V3.2, the crystals found in the Crystal Caves used to have round edges, but they were sharpened in V3.2.
