Raytraxians

From Kaiju Paradise Official Wiki

Gootraxians are opposite team of humans that can be found around the game. They are known to be made of a gooey like substance and are capable of turning other humans into creatures like them.

Gootraxians can be formed when a human loses its life to various obstacles in the game or when it loses its life to a gootraxian itself. There are many ways to counter Gootraxians through the uses of weapons and tools found around the map.

There are currently 30 different types of gootraxians available in the games right now:

Kaiju

The Kaiju is the titular Gootraxian in Kaiju Paradise. The Kaiju has the appearance of a blue lizard-like humanoid with blue crystals along its back and tail. It has magenta and yellow eyes as shown in the picture.

Being the titular Gootraxian, the Kaiju appears in Kaiju Paradise and on the game's thumbnail image. Like all the other Gootraxians, its facial expressions can change if certain criteria are met. It is also the first Gootraxian ever to be in the game when it was first publicly released in Kaiju Paradise.

Transformation is caused either through losing all of your health to a Kaiju crystal, or by being infected by another Kaiju.

Slime Pups

Slime Pups are one of the main Gootraxians in Kaiju Paradise. So far, they are the lowest HP gootraxians (75 HP) with the exception of diamond and golden, they have increase max HP or defense when they are wearing a hat (cone or bucket). They look like small dogs made of slime with white face masks and can come in different colors such as red, indigo, green and cyan. Multiple variants of them exist such as Spiked, Ghost, and Rainbow.

Slime Pups' face masks were actually based off of apple cores, the eyes being seeds and the mask color being similar to the inside of an apple, as confirmed by one of the developers. However, the eyes don't exist on Ghost variant.

You can become a Rainbow Pup that shifts through multiple colors by eating a Strange Crystal from someone's hands, which reward you with badge from it as well as Rainbow bat skin if you feed pups a crystal for the first time.

You can only become a Slime Pup by losing all of your health in a blue puddle. Doing it on power outage or blackout will turn you into Spiked Pup and Ghost Pup respectively.

Dragon Pups

Dragon Pups can come in all of the colors Slime Pups can have and likewise have Golden and Diamond variants. However, since they cannot eat objects like Slime Pups can, they do not have a Rainbow variant. They are the second lowest health gootraxians (80 HP) before fused. Like the other Gootraxians, they can attack Humans but they do not have a grab attack. If you manage to consume someone, you will become a Dragon Fusion. They turn humans into their variants and colors if they're the ones who infects them except rare variants.

You can turn into a Dragon Pup by stepping on the spike crystal, or by being infected by a Dragon Fusion (Dragon Pups infecting you will cause you to fuse with them, causing you to respawn). Doing it on power outage or blackout will turn you into Spiked Dragon Pups and Ghost Dragon Pups respectively.

Dragon Fusions

Dragon Fusions are the fused form of Dragon Pups that occur when they infect a player. They are the size of a normal Roblox avatar. They are stronger than other regular Gootraxians due to being a fusion and have 25+ max health <ref>

</ref>. The "sleep" tool will also be replaced with a "grab" instead. They turn humans into their variants and colors if they're the ones who infects them except rare variants.

Infecting a human as a Dragon Pup with cause you to fuse with them, becoming a Dragon Fusion and causing the Human who was infected to respawn.

Slime Hounds

Slime Hounds are essentially the adult form of Slime Pups. It has a constantly angered expression, and are the size of a normal Roblox avatar. They turn humans into their variants and colors if they're the ones who infects them except rare variants.

You can become a Slime Hound by either losing all of your health in a pink puddle, or by being infected by a Slime Hound. Doing it on power outage or blackout will turn you into Spiked hound and Ghost hound respectively.

Carneline

Carneline is a special community Gootraxian that was designed by mysticalesta. They are only available during low power events and they were the first community Gootraxian ever created.

Carneline has dark purple fur with red spikes on the back and two horns on the head. It has red crystalline markings on its chest, knees and tail. The crystals and horns glow, as well as emitting a soft light around them. Carneline has gone through a ''Refinement'' with the new Carneline having a blue sclera, a pink iris and a blue pupil on their face, Carnelines can blink now.

They had a passive ability specifically on power outage event, which increases their attack damage.

You can become a Carneline by either losing all of your health to a Kaiju Crystal during a low power event (they will appear red) or by being infected by a Carneline.

Protogen

Protogens are normally depicted as cyborgs, but in TFE and Kaiju Paradise they appear as a Gootraxian.

Protogens are white-furred half-robotic anthropomorphic creatures that wear a blue visor on their heads. They emit a startup noise upon transformation, Windows error popup noises upon being hit, and Windows shutdown noises once killed.

They have the ability to self destruct when half HP and explode, damaging nearby humans and turn them into ghost fox if their HP is low enough.

They take damage on water due to electrocution.

You can become a Protogen by losing all of your health to a Protogen puddle, or by being infected by a Protogen.

Cola Fox

The Cola Fox is the one of the Gootraxians that originated from The Underground Facility. It is inspired by Trystan The Fox, a developer and a transfur in RESURGENCED. Its name comes from the Trystan Cola item.

The Cola Fox is a fox with red-orange fur. When a Cola Fox is hit by a weapon, Trystan Cola cans will fly out from its body. It was the first Gootraxian to have facial expressions for different states from The Underground Facility.

You can become a Cola Fox by drinking Trystan Cola, or by being infected by a Cola Fox. Getting infected using the Cola will display text above the hotbar while two images of Trystan will slowly fade in onto the screen and the song Waterflame - Endgame will play.

Shork

The Shork is a grey shark. Like a handful of other Gootraxians, the Shork has different facial expressions if certain criteria are met.

You can become a Shork by colliding with one of the fins in the water, or by being infected by another Shork.

Lemon Shark

The Lemon Shark is a community Gootraxian made by Nightmary (undertale_girl4778).

The Lemon Shark is a pale yellow shark with four purple eyes. It has extra fins on the top and back of its head, as well as on the back of its arms. It has a very similar appearance to Shorks.

They had an passive ability which can blind humans around 5 seconds and stackable. This can be done upon grab which is guaranteed and attack which has 1/3 chance of it happening.

You can become a Lemon Shark by holding a Lemon Slice and walking into a Shark Fin in the water or being infected by them.

Lang

Lang is one of the community Gootraxians in Kaiju Paradise. It was designed by Kazuko (lightbluemoonfallzYT).

Lang has very light white-blue fur. Its arms and legs have purple bands of fur around them and it has purple markings on its face going down from its eyes. Like Carneline, it has received a ''Refinement'' in which it now has a white sclera, and purple irises.

Lang has a passive ability which is emitting gas (0.002/s) and can goes up to (0.01/s) at max.

You can become a Lang by staying in the gas area for too long, being infected by them.

Toxic Bunny

Toxic Bunny is one of the community Gootraxians in Kaiju Paradise. It was designed by VikkyVik.

The Toxic Bunny is a rabbit with light green fur and a lighter area of fur on its torso. It has two long ears with white tips. Green particles surround the Toxic Bunny, and they become more noticeable when standing still.

You can become one by walking into one of the black shadows on the walkway outside the gas halls, walking over the toxic puddles from nuclear bunny until you lose all of your health, or by being infected by a Toxic Bunny.


Nuclear Bunny

Nuclear Bunny is one of the community Gootraxians in Kaiju Paradise. It was designed by VikkyVik.

The Nuclear Bunny is a rabbit with deep green fur. The torso has a double scratch mark and has a more lighter color. It glows green on blackout.

They have an passive ability which upon death, will blow up and spread a toxic green puddle on the floor which slows down & damage them and can turn them into toxic bunny if their HP is low. The puddle will disappear after a short amount of time.

You can become one by walking into one of the black shadows on the walkway outside the gas halls on a blackout event, or being infected by another Nuclear Bunny.

Catte

Catte is the first of a type of Gootraxian in Kaiju Paradise that leaves infectious items behind after death.

Catte is the first of a type of Gootraxian in Kaiju Paradise that leaves infectious items behind after death. It leaves the hat that it wears as an accessory after death for any human to step on. Alternatively, they could eject the bucket by their will but take 25 HP damage. This would then make the human player get infected into a Catte after some time. Catte will be able to obtain their bucket back by stepping on it. The bucket will despawn for a certain period of time if no one pick it up.

They can transform into a Buck at blackout if they obtain a black bucket. For this to happen, they need to not have their bucket on and have their HP on a certain value to become one.

You can transfurred into one by walking over a bucket on the ground, or being infected by a Catte.

KitKat

The KitKat is a Goopie in Kaiju Paradise that originally came from RESURGENCED.

It is a combination of a cat and ice cream. The KitKat has 3 different color variants depending on the last ice cream that was eaten before transforming, those being vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry.

They have an ice cream trail along their walk pathways which slows down any humans that steps on the trail and becomes thicker the more low HP they are. It can be completely countered by using a hazmat suit.

They are also able to do fusion, which makes them gain extra head and health (20 HP) every time they done so, maxing out after doing it 2 times.

You can become a KitKat by eating 5 Ice Cream Cones from the Ice Cream freezer or being infected by another KitKat.

Mochi the Dragon

Mochi the Dragon is a community Gootraxian in Kaiju Paradise made by FriendlyYanely.

Mochi the Dragon is a dragon made out of brown mochi. It has a lighter area of fur on its torso and two light-brown stripe markings on its lower arms and legs. It appears to have four cat ears, one pair protruding from the left and right side of its head and the other pointing straight upwards. It has two light-brown dragon horns on its head.

Mochi can be obtained by losing all your health to the Mochi puddle in the Cafeteria or getting infected by another Mochi.

Shade

Shade is a gray wolf wearing black sunglasses. It has a lighter area of fur on its chest, muzzle and neck fluff as well as light-gray sock markings on its hands and feet, and has dull green markings on its arms and legs.

Like Catte, Shade drops its sunglasses upon death for any unsuspecting Human players to walk on and become infected. This can be completely countered by using hazmat suits.

Shade can remove and pull down its sunglasses using the "Wear" tool.

You can become a Shade by walking over or obtaining sunglasses, or by getting infected by another Shade. Players infected by Shade won't have any shades whatsoever.

Kawaii Shork

Kawaii Shorks are a pink color variation of a regular Shork. There is no difference between it and regular Shorks other than color and facial expressions. They have white stripes along their head fins and tails.

You can become a Kawaii Shork by colliding with one of the fins in the water during a power outage event, or being infected by another Kawaii Shork.

Ghost Fox

Ghost Fox is a community Gootraxian in Kaiju Paradise made by Snowdoggie100.

Ghost Foxes are very light blue foxes, with white-ish hands and chests. They have two large, light-blue-tipped tails.

When a Ghost Fox gets hit, they become somewhat invisible for a few seconds and can phase through players, although the latter has a cooldown.

You can become a Ghost Fox by stepping into any body of water with the Broken Taser equipped, getting blown over by a Protogen's self destruct or being infected by one.

Figs

Figs is a community Gootraxian designed by ButterBlue. It is a light blue insect with three horns and pale-pink ruffs of fur around its hands and feet.

You can become a Figs by hitting the tree in the Garden and eating the fruit that falls from it, or being infected by another Figs.

It is unclear what species of insect Figs is. However, it is most likely a type of dragonfly and not a moth.

Fed

Feds are grey wolves wearing fedoras similar in appearance to Shades. However, they lack any of the Shade's green markings.

Unlike Shade, Fed does not drop its Fedora on death.

You can become a Fed by picking up a Fedora, or getting infected by another Fed. Getting infected by a Fed turns you into a Fed with no Fedora.

Hazzy

Hazzys are red cats with darker spot markings on its arms and legs and pale-red face and chest markings. It has noticeable white whiskers.

You can become a Hazzy by losing all of your health to a Gootraxian's while wearing a Hazmat Suit, or getting infected by another Hazzy.

Plantix

Plantix is a community Gootraxian designed by kos.

Plantix are Gootraxians designed to look like a bush with flowers on it. They have a small pink flower on their foreheads.

Plantix can inflict a poisonous gas that slowly drains their HP (hazmat suit halves damage drain) if you attack a tree near them or if the tree is down.

You can become a Plantix by smelling the flower that spawns in the Laminax Garden, or getting infected by another Plantix.

Blaxor

The Blaxor is a new shark variant introduced in the V3.0 update.

Watermelon Sharks are green sharks with red eyes, designed to look like a watermelon. They have a pair of black horns protruding from their foreheads that hold a small ball of pinkish-red particle effects (fire?) between them during blackouts or low power events. It is also a Blaxor's self insert.

Sometimes, you will have a note sticking on the top head that says "not furry", which is a little easter egg and reference to Blaxor.

When unlocking it for the beastiary, it will be called “Blaxor”.

Blaxor have an anger meter. Eating a watermelon near a watermelon shark would increase it’s anger meter. As of now, this does not give anything to the watermelon shark. They have a slightly increased HP and take a little more damage than normal goos.

You can become a Watermelon Shark by walking into a Shark Fin while holding a Watermelon during a blackout or power outage event. You also become one if you get infected by them.

Dark Protogen

Dark Protogen (Blackout)

Dark Protogens are a darker variant of regular Protogens, which normally depicted as cyborgs, but in TFE and Kaiju Paradise they appear as a Gootraxian.

Dark Protogens are black-furred half-robotic anthropomorphic creatures that wear a red visor on their heads. They emit a startup noises which is more sinister than normal version upon transformation, Windows error popup noises upon being hit, and Windows shutdown noises once killed.

They have the ability to self destruct when half HP and explode, damaging nearby humans and turn them into ghost fox if their HP is low enough.

They take damage on water due to electrocution.

You can become a Dark Protogen by losing all of your health to a Protogen puddle during a blackout or low power event, or by being infected by another Dark Protogen.

Panther

The Panther is another community Gootraxian designed by mysticalesta.

Panthers appear to be a feline with black fur and a slightly lighter marking on their torso that resembles a four-point ninja star. Their eyes glow during power outage & blackouts and emit a yellow and glowing trail while walking, unless they are at low HP, in which case their eyes will turn red and emit a glowing trail of that color instead. Panther's design appears to be inspired by Nargacuga from Monster Hunter

The Panther is currently the only known Gootraxian able to actually kill Humans, to do this they must use the "Claw" tool. When on low HP, the "Claw" tool damage and cooldown will be reduced. Panthers also have a "Prepare" tool which can only be used during a blackout, with which all humans are highlighted with a yellow, slightly transparent layer that will slowly begin to fade away after some time.

They also able to block scythe attack. Upon blocking, they will take only 1/2.5 of the original scythe damage and will be slowed down temporarily instead of ragdolled. This makes the weapon useless and is not recommended to use against them.

You can become one by either touching a Kaiju crystal during a blackout or getting infected by another Panther.

Jammer

Jammer (Blackout)

Jammers are gray wolves wearing headphones. They are similar in appearance to Shades and Feds, but have blue markings instead of green which emit a blue glow during blackouts. There is a chance 1/30 to get VIP variant in which it emits a rainbow glow & music particles and play a slightly different music.

Jammer has a special ability named Diversion that allows it to play music.

You can become a Jammer by picking up the headphones that replace fedoras during blackouts, or by getting infected by another Jammer. Getting infected by a Jammer turns you into a Jammer with no Headphones.

Night Shade

The Night Shade is a gray wolf wearing purple sunglasses. They have similar appearances to Shades, Feds and Jammers, but with purple markings instead of green or blue, which emit a purple glow during blackouts.

Like its counterparts, Night Shades drops their sunglasses upon death which removes the glow until a human walks on it which will surprise any unsuspecting Human players and become infected, due to how dark it is on a blackout event. It can be completely countered by using a hazmat suit.

Night Shades can remove and pull down its sunglasses using the "Wear" tool, like its normal counterpart.

You can become a Night Shade by walking over or obtaining sunglasses, or by getting infected by another Night Shade. Players infected by them won't have any shades whatsoever.

Trivia

  • In the previous game, The Underground Facility, the infected were referred to as Latex monsters, but due to copyright issues with the creator of the game it was based on, TuF was scrapped and TZB Studio began work on Kaiju Paradise and The Final Experiment.
  • Carneline was the first community designed Gootraxian to be featured in Kaiju Paradise. It is also the first Gootraxian to have a blinking animation for the facial expression and passive ability specifically on power outage only, which is extra damage attack.
  • Charem was already in TUF before it got added to KP.
    • But, due to the fursona creator's weird fetishes, it was later removed in the V3D update.
  • The only transfur that got transferred from TUF to KP are Charem and Trystan Fox.
    • However, Charem later got removed due to the reasons stated above.
  • Catte is the first of a type of Gootraxian in Kaiju Paradise that leaves infectious items behind after death, which is a bucket.
  • Kaiju is the first Gootraxian ever to be in game when Kaiju Paradise was publicly released for the first time and has size that is bigger than the normal robloxian.
  • KitKat is the first Gootraxian to have a passive ability in Kaiju Paradise, which is its ice cream drip.
  • The Slime variant and Figs are one of the only goos that don't keep your hair accessories.
  • Slime Pups stealing bats started as a mistake that hadn't been fixed. Now, it is an ability all Slime Pups are capable of using.
    • There was a bug where pups able to get bats in shop, this was later fixed.
  • So far, Buck has the most highest health out of all the gootraxians. The lowest health is the slimepups without their hats.
