Items are tools that are mostly made to be used by humans. All of the items in-game have a universal cooldown system even after switching or unequipping the items, which can be seen by the blue bar at the bottom of the screen. Most of them also have durability represented by a green bar which, when depleted, breaks the item and renders it useless.
All items are temporary. They can be lost upon conversion, death, leaving the game, throwing the item away in a trash can or when the item breaks/runs out of durability. Moreover, Hazzy will also lose their equipped Weapon and Hazmat Suit once 90 damage has been dealt by any means.
In most cases, these items cannot be obtained by Raytraxians unless through illegitimate ways.<ref>Examples: hacking, glitches, VIP admin commands.</ref> The only exception is Hazzy, who can equip a greater range of items while wearing a Hazmat Suit.
Utilities
Utility items are items that serve a purpose of helping the player.
Bloxy Cola
Bloxy Colas are both a consumable and tradable item that can be sold to Bandit's Shop for 2 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination.<ref>Trading Colas on private servers will not grant you any tokens.</ref> They can be acquired primarily by destroying Vending Machines, which can be done by hitting them enough times or by finding them in food spawns. The number of colas in a vending machine depends on how many players there are in the server. Bloxy Colas dropped by Vending Machines will despawn after 60 - 70 seconds if they are not picked up.
As a consumable, Bloxy Colas can be drank once, after 4.25 seconds it will provide the user a regeneration of 30 health over 3.5 seconds. Taking any damage during the initial 4.25 seconds will stop the drinking animation, stopping the regeneration from ocurring and leaving the user on a 7 second cooldown. Drinking a Bloxy Cola will prompt the dialogue "This thing is extremely sweet!".
Bloxy Colas may also be shaken up by jumping 7+ times. When opened, the can will blow up, ragdolling and flinging the user, as well as dealing 15 damage to the consumer after its attempted consumption. The item only records the player's jumps while it's being held, so unequipping the item resets the jump count.

Light Sources
<tabber> |-|Flashlight=
Flashlight
The Flashlight is an item that can be found around the map in certain locations. Similar to the Bat, the flashlight can be picked up infinitely. It can be turned on / off and provides illumination, lighting up the dark environment it faces in a white light. The flashlight can be turned on and then unequipped in order to be used with other tools, sitting on the players hip to continue providing light until its durability is drained.
When used on a Hebi, the text "The light from the flashlight irritates your eyes." will appear on the Hebi's screen and slowly blur their vision until they are far enough away from the light. When on, durability is drained. This durability only lasts about 2 minutes before running out completely and, upon breaking, will prompt the text: "The flashlight ran out of batteries.."

|-|Torch=
Torch
The Torch is a secondary light source similar to the flashlight. When held, the torch will produce a vibrant, warm yellow light to its surroundings. Unlike the flashlight, however, it does not have a fixed time allotted for its use, allowing it to be used indefinitely as a light source. It can only be found within the Cave Garden's greenhouse area and may be picked up at any point in time.
-

|-|Fireflies=
Fireflies
The Fireflies is a jar that emits a passive light and releases yellow particles of light when used. It used to be purchasable in Bandit's Shop for 2 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination, but is currently no longer available. When opened, fireflies will come out of the jar and emit a small amount of light until they eventually disappear. Unlike other items, this item has no durability and can be used infinitely.

Non-transmogrifying Foods
Non-transmogrifying foods are items that can be found randomly across the Facility. They can be freely eaten by humans and Raytraxians with no consequence, with almost all of them having the exact same properties. Contrary to popular belief, these items will not restore any health to players if eaten.
Banana
Bananas are a consumable item that can be bought in Bandit's Shop for 1 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination or found on random food spawns. When eaten, the text "Mmm.. taste good!" will appear, with the remains of the banana falling on the floor. Anyone that steps on the banana peel will be ragdolled and flung a short distance. The remains will despawn after slipping on it 4 times, or a certain amount of time.

Upon getting close enough, it shoot the target, but will stop if the target is too far away. While the Roomba do not target the user who deployed it, the bullets can still kill them if the user gets in the way of their bullets. It has 6 uses before it runs out.

|-|Minigun Roomba=
Minigun Roomba
Mounted atop the Roomba, a Minigun sits, creating the ultimate weapon of destruction. When deployed, it will remain still if no targets are within its line of sight. Upon spotting an enemy however, it will move forwards into range, regardless of what team they are on, and shoot the target. Unlike the Gun Roomba, the Minigun Roomba doesn't chase as far and has a much higher DPS, shredding anything that stands before it, even the deployer should they walk into its bullets. Admin-Exclusive Items
These items can only be used by moderators (Only in Private servers & the Experimental Build), administrator ranked individuals and above. They cannot be obtained normally or via the usage of the VIP server's commands.
LMX AP
LMX AP, otherwise known as Laminax Anti-Pup, was an Admin-Exclusive item. It represents a sample of a prototype anti-pup formula, appearing as a glowing magenta substance contained within a glass vial. LMX AP mechanically serves the same purpose as the Lemon Slice, as a form of bait. However, unlike the Lemon Slice, it is unable to be consumed by the user, and guarantees the death of the pup.
It was not usable by any means, but could be stolen & eaten by Slime Pups. Upon consumption and after a brief period of time, the pup would proceed to explode, killing the pup and leaving behind glowing magenta puddles in its place, akin to how a Nuclear Rabbit would, except the magenta puddles were only for visual effect and dissipate shortly after.

Trivia
General
- In VIP servers, all items in Bandit's Shop can be bought for free with the exception of skin crates.
- On New Years, every time a player gets a 5 kill/convert streak or dies, a firework will launch to the sky.
- This mechanic was removed in the game after the event was over, though the item was available for purchase in Bandit's Shop.
- In Experimental, there is a 1/50 (2%) chance<ref>https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/510886407770734645/994389281894309958/unknown.png Message chance stated by developer Bronze, July 6 2022.</ref> that the message for Nightcrawler goggles spawning will be replaced with: "[SERVER]: It appears an item of devious quality has suddenly been summoned in an area of this location..."
- During the April Fools 2022 Update, the goggles would appear regularly around the map during normal conditions. However, when equipped, the message "lol fake goggle! 😊😊😊😊" would appear and a laughing sound could be heard, mocking the player for thinking the goggles were real.
- When the update was first released, the goggles would actually turn the player into a Nightcrawler, but this was quickly fixed.
- Feeding a watermelon slice to a Slime Pup near Blaxor used to give you a badge called "Ferocious Move", but this has since been removed due to being too unfair and hard to get.
- All items that could be stolen by Slime Pups could be stacked within a players inventory, allowing a user to have multiple of the same items.
- During the 3.2 Party Bash Update, Landmines have a chance to appear out of gifts. Some can be picked up and manually placed, while others arm automatically.
- In VIP servers, you can still obtain items that can normally to be sold to Bandit for tokens, such as Bloxy Colas and Strange Crystals.
- However, attempting to sell them will give you no tokens and the text that normally says how many tokens you received will instead say "NOPE!" and you receive 0 tokens
- Eating a lemon slice as a Slime Pup at low health used cause the pup to have a unique death, where they vanish and a fart sound is played.
- Raytraxians are also able to hit the tree in the Garden which will drop Strange Fruit as usual, however this will not break the tree.
- Emergency Flashlights that are turned on can still blind Hebis while on the ground or, before their removal, when carried by a Slime Pup.
- Moderators cannot use or display items exclusive weapons in public servers unless on certain conditions.<ref>(Examples: Experimental Build, allowed by higher ranks, etc.)</ref> Getting caught using them will get them warned and even demoted by a higher rank.
- Developers and Administrators, however, can use them freely and as much they please.
- The Plushie used to resemble that of a Slime Pup and came in a total of 5 colors: Cyan, Aqua, Purple, Lime and Pink.
- It was changed for an unknown reason to instead resemble game developers.
- Despite this change, the original Slime Pup plushie may be acquired in VIP servers by using the command
:give me slime plushie
. - Emergency Flashlights used to only be able to be equipped during Blackouts.
- The Torch was first introduced during the Hallows Eve event, replacing every flashlight within the facility.
- Alongside this, both Survivors and Raytraxians were capable of picking up and utilizing the torch at any time, including outside of a Blackout.
- The torch now has two spawn locations within the Cave Garden.
- Food items, such as the Bloxy Cola and Banana, were only equippable by humans. Now, with the introduction of the V3.3 update, both humans and Raytraxians can pick up and consequently eat said items.
- Despite Slime Pup being removed from the game, items that were previously stolen by them in the shop still provide a warning, this being "Warning: This item can be stolen and eaten by someone."
- Clicking on the screen while holding a roleplay item results in the console writing an error. It's unknown why this is intentional.
Item Notes
- There used to be an item called the Strange Collar that upon wearing, would transform the user into Charem. It was removed alongside the Raytraxian due to controversy with its creator.
- There was also another item called Trystan Cola that upon drinking, transformed the user into Trystan. It was removed alongside the Raytraxian due to a DMCA notice from its creator, and internal conflict between them and KP staff.
- The item was replaced with the Witches' Brew, and the raytraxian was also replaced with Witchbrew.
- The Ice Cream used to be able to transform you into ConeKat. Despite the Raytraxian's removal, the item has stayed in the game due to its replacement, Sprinklekit, being added.
- Sledgehammers, Knives, Scythes, Trystan Cola, Strange Collar and Lemon Slices used to be purchasable in Abble's Shop before they were eventually removed.
- LMX AP was conceptually designed and modelled by composer and developer Fishcracks.
- The Dance Grenade used in-game is a reference to the Boogie Bomb from Fortnite.
- Its dance and respective music are that from the Monster Mash Dance Potion.
- The red stress ball used in the game is a reference to Skweezy Jibb's video about the Earth being round, where he demonstrates that the ball sitting in place is clearly irregular if the Earth was round, which is why he claimed that it wasn't round. This was because the ball hadn't moved.
- The IT is a reference to the P-ball meme in the official Kaiju Paradise Discord server.
