Hallows Eve Event
<tabber> |-|2022=
2022
The V3.1 Hallows Eve Update was a limited time event on Kaiju Paradise. It was divided in two parts; Part 1 releasing on October 10th 2022, while Part 2 released on November 27th 2022. The event as a whole ended on December 4th 2022.
The update featured a new Gootraxian, various updates to old Gootraxians, two new tools, a new currency, a new crate, new skins, and a new map.
Gootraxians
This update added 1 new Gootraxian, the Witchbrew. It is a bat-like gootraxian that can be obtained by either drinking or exploding a Witchbrew Soda Can that rarely drops from the Vending Machines or by being infected by another Witchbrew Gootraxian.
For the Bloodmoon event, the Ghost variants of Slime Pups, Hounds and Dragons were recolored to a blood-like color to match with the atmosphere in the event. Interestingly, the particles on their tails and the light surrounding them were not updated to match their new color.
Tools
Chainsaw
This update introduced the fierce Chainsaw. It is, currently, the weapon with the highest damage per second ratio in the game: its appearance is of an average woodcutting chainsaw, branded with the Laminax logo. It also applies a bounty of 350 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination on its holder, whose location is revealed to the Gootraxians every five minutes. Additionally, it could be used to cut down the tree in the Garden.
It was obtainable at Abble's Store for 35 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination by only one person at a time during the first part of the Hallows Eve Event. During the second release of the event, the Chainsaw went offsale, forbidding players from buying the chainsaw any further. The only way to obtain it once more during the event was through randomly spawned Halloween Crates.

Trivia
- It was released beforehand on the Experimental version of the game for testing.
Torch
The Torch was a limited time replacement for the flashlight. This item acted as a light source, emitting a yellow glow. It was unique in the fact that it could be held by both Gootraxians and Survivors.
The tooltip read: "Must have not been able to afford a flashlight."
-
The Torch, exposed.
Currency
There are numerous small Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination Candies scattered across the map of which come in different colors. These colors being green, purple, yellow and orange. These colors, however, are purely cosmetic as they all give the same amount of 6 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination upon pick up.
Occasionally, instead of candy, there is a 1/60 chance of a Halloween Crate spawning instead of a candy. You will be able to open it in Abble's Store upon pick up, however if you are a survivor, there is a 50% chance of Halloween Crates dropping a chainsaw instead. No other survivor should have an active chainsaw for the crates to drop one.<ref>https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/858029724664463400/1046485688037683252/image.png Crates dropping Chainsaw chance, stated by developer Bronze.</ref>

Crates and Skins
The only new crate in this update is the Halloween Crate. It costed 666 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination, though, it could also be obtained by collecting Halloween Crates that occasionally spawned around the map. In Part 1, the crate costed an abnormal amount of 6,666,666 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination, however this was only a placeholder.
The crate contained about 30 skins before its removal.

-
The Crate in Part 2, finally reduced its cost.
-

Skins
Below is a list of every new skin added for this event.
Map
This update includes the standard map, albeit with a new, spooky coat of paint. While the main structure remains the same, all locations have been modified to fit the atmosphere: the rooms appear in a disheveled state, with batches of dark dirt and stone with orange grass, cobwebs and pumpkins all over them. Some shelves have been toppled over or moved from their usual spots. There's also an increased amount of Catte buckets across the map for unknown reasons.
The radios across the entire map now play different music, all being covers of famous songs recreated by Fishcracks.

Trivia
- Unrelated to Halloween, the secret area by the Cave Garden has been reworked completely.
- There are seven new songs, these being references of:
- Among Us Drip theme (Spawn)
- Ghostbusters Theme Song (Shop)
- Spooky Scary Skeletons (Bestiary)
- It's Been So Long (Garden hallway and Break Room)
- Kidnap the Sandy Claws (Cafeteria)
- Slumber Party [VIP] (Garden)
- California Girls (Song played by the California emote when performed by a staff member or in a private server)
- These soundtracks will not be released officially, as Fishcracks refuses to upload it. Fans are not allowed to upload the OST themselves, either.
- The music for the California emote used to be available for everyone, back on the Experimental version. This has been changed.
Events
The Blackout event has been modified to suit the mood: once the lights shut down, a red fog will cover the area instead of the usual pitch black. The normally white puddles and spikes will turn crimson red, mimicking blood, thus making the slime Gootraxians the same color. The messages that pop up from time to time are now different. The ambience music has been replaced by a new one, too.
Following the modified Blackout is a curse at the Garden's Cave. The engravings will ask for in order: 1 Catte, 4 Lantern Shorks, 3 Panthers, and finally a Nightcrawler killed. Every sacrifice has to be at in the Garden's Cave for their soul to be reaped in the engravings. The only exception to this is the Nightcrawler, which can be killed anywhere. After the final sacrifice, the scythe skin Curse of Eclipse will spawn above the campfire to be picked up by the entire server. It will despawn in 60 seconds.

Trivia
- This update also brought a new code system, and two new codes, these being:
Notes
- Part 1 was heavily focused on the quality of the game, including upgraded anti-cheat and bug fixes, rather than on content.
- Cerberus, the first hidden skin teased in the crate, was meant to be for the yet to come Purification event in V3.2. It was confirmed by a developer to be a mistake and planned to be removed and refunded for all players with the skin.

The 2024 Hallows' Eve Event is the second iteration of the Halloween Event in Kaiju Paradise, released shortly after V3.3.1.
The event is similar to the last Halloween event, having the main objective be to collect candy used for purchasing event-exclusive crates, but with several overhauls and new mechanics added, as well as several permanent changes to the game.
Gootraxians
This update adds 2 new Gootraxians, Crawlipede and Zombie.
Crawlipede is added as the game's first Community Gootraxian introduced since the deprication of the Gootraxian Contributor team. They are brown and red centipede Gootraxians obtained by a 1/4 chance from opening lockers or being infected by another Crawlipede Gootraxian.
Zombie is a character originating from Laminax Co.'s other game, FNQ, appearing in Kaiju Paradise as a Halloween-exclusive event Gootraxian. They are green humanoid Gootraxians with brown shirts and black pants obtained by being infected by another Zombie.
Partyena also returns for this event, being obtained through Count Alucmas' Manor Silence shop or being infected by another Partyena Gootraxian.
Updates
Most Gootraxians (and by extension, their Costumes) received updated tails and ears, gaining Bonemeshes that allow them to move around fluidly.
Several Gootraxians got updated designs in this update, including Wisp, Buck, Manic, Toxic Rabbit, Shork, Lemon Shork, and Sprinklekit.
On top of Sprinklekit's redesign, they also received a new variant, being a Banana Split flavor. Similar to Mint, Banana Split Sprinklekits have 110 HP, as opposed to other flavors, which only have 100. ChocoMint Sprinklekit has been removed in favor of this new flavor, intending to keep the function of a rare, stronger Sprinklekit while also making it more original.

Stool
Main Article: Stool
The Stool is a small, short wooden chair with 4 legs and a foot rest connecting the legs together near the middle. It is somewhat of a joke weapon, having almost no damage output while also having one of the highest knockback values of any weapon in the game. It can be equipped by any player, no matter what team they're on.
It can be obtained by finding it randomly scattered around the manor, most commonly found in the Cafeteria and Garden Storage areas.
Shovel
Main Article: Shovel
The Shovel is a large metal shovel with a wooden handle and grip at its end. It's a pretty simple weapon, with its most prominent features being its long range and decent damage.

Coffee
The Coffee is a new food item/Transmogrifying item introduced in the Hallows Eve 2024 update. Currently, its only use is transforming into Mocha. Upon drinking the coffee, the player will take 25 damage, with text reading "Too hot! Too hot!" being displayed above their hotbar, paired with a hot sizzling noise emitting from their body for around 10 seconds. Afterwards, the player will transform into Mocha, unless the player is already a Gootraxian.
The tooltip for the item reads "How energizing!.. will actually be energizing laterrr...", Implying that the item will have more uses in the future.
Events
For the duration of the update, both of the hourly events were replaced with different events to suit the new map and atmosphere. Power Outage was replaced with the Bluelight event, while Blackout was replaced with the Manor Silence event. Both new events have the same properties of their non-Halloween counterparts in terms of obtainable items and Gootraxians.
Bluelight
As the name suggests, the Bluelight event coats the entire manor in a deep blue light. However, instead of simply changing the color of the map's light sources, this event actually puts a color filter on the player's screen, causing everything on the map to have its colors completely inverted (With orange things turning blue, purple things turning green, etc.).
Lord Hugh Maen's Wheel of Fate
Whenever a Bluelight event occurs, there is a 50% chance for a sub-event to begin, known as Lord Hugh Maen's Wheel of Fate, with a glowing blue wheel appearing in the bottom left corner of the screen paired with an announcement playing to all players indicating his arrival. There is also a small chance that Lord Hugh Maen's announcement will be replaced by the Hughmaen Bash minigame, where small Lord Hugh Maens will cover the player's screen. If the player clicks on every single Lord Hugh Maen, they will be rewarded with the Hughmaen Bash badge.
During this sub-event, Lord Hugh Maen will spin his wheel every 30 seconds, with the wheel picking one of several different effects to occur, paired with voice lines for whenever the wheel spins and the subsequent effect it activates. Said events are listed below, with Hugn Maen's comment for each one beneath it.
- Battle Box - Teleports every player into a semi-transparent box in front of the Flooded Hallway. The box despawns after 5 seconds.
- "The Wheel has chosen the Battle Box! Feast in the Battle of my Box!"
- Fling - Flings every player in a random direction, ragdolling them for a short time.
- "And to fling I must!"
- "Feel the wrath of my magic!!"
- Ragdoll - Causes every player to fall over and be stuck in ragdoll for a short time.
- "The wheel has chosen for the crippling of the guests! What a pity."
- Heal - Heals every player to full HP
- "The wheel has chosen generosity, so let me heal everybody with my spectacular magic!"
- Chill Guy - Obstructs every player's screen with a slow white flash, followed by a low-quality image of Chill Guy from the "Just a Chill Guy" meme standing in a sunflower field, paired with piano music.
- "What? What a chilling guy that was."
- "Who is this? Chilling individual that was."
- John Pork - Obstructs every player's screen with an image of a man with a pig head calling an iPhone.
- "Aagh! John Pork, not now!"
- "Aagh! who dares streamline the manor's phone connection?!"
- Bottle - Gives every player, including Gootraxians, a Bottle weapon, no matter how many tools the player currently has in their inventory.
- "The wheel has decided that the fortune is... bottles. Drink up!.. They're empty."
- Car - Spawns a Jeep near the entrance to the Cafeteria that despawns after 1 minute.
- "The Wheel has chosen... my car? I suppose I can lend it for a bit."
- "The Wheel has chosen... my car? Bah... Only for a short time, I suppose."
- Skin Gift - Gives every player either the Please Take One brick skin or the Pumpkin Spice Catte costume.
- "A free gift, courtesy of Alucmas!"
- Candy Gift - Gives every player a small amount of Candy for them to deposit.
- "I have distributed the candy amongst you. Out of my own pocket, the guests you are!"
- Candy Tax - Removes a small amount of Candy from every player's wallet.
- "It has chosen for the precious candies to be taken!"
- Gurt - Spawns a Gurt on top of every player for a short time.
- "Beware the entity that is Gurt! Feel his wrath!"
- Slow - Decreases every player's movement speed for a short time.
- "Everyone must suffer from the sloth that you can all be!"
Manor Silence
Manor Silence is very similar to normal blackouts, except the map is covered in a monochrome filter, preventing players from seeing colors.
Count Alucmas' Shop
When Manor Silence begins, there is a 50% chance that a GUI will appear from the top of the screen, prompting the player to choose an affiliation. Choosing an affiliation will bring you to Count Alucmas' Shop for that respective team. The main currency used in Count Alucmas' Shop is SamBucks. Players passively gain SamBucks at an initial rate of 10 SamBucks per second, and may increase this rate by:
- Getting Kills or Infects, boosting the rate by 2.5.
- Getting an Assist, boosting the rate by 0.5.
- Dealing damage, boosting the rate by the amount of damage dealt divided by 1000.
- Receiving "Alucmas Interest", boosting the rate by 1 every minute.
Doing any of these actions while playing as the opposite affiliation you chose will instead decrease your SamBucks gain by 3x as much as it would have increased otherwise.
The items a player may purchase from Count Alucmas' Shop vary depending on their chosen affiliation. Items highlighted in gray are able to be purchased by both affiliations.
Humans are able to purchase:
- A bottle, for 1500 SamBucks.
- A medkit, for 4500 SamBucks.
- Bricks, for 5500 SamBucks.
- A Kaiju Basher, for 6500 SamBucks.
- A machete, for 8500 SamBucks.
- A katana, for 9999 SamBucks.
- A long pipe, for 11999 SamBucks.
- The Potion Sinox costume, for 25000 SamBucks.
Gootraxians are able to purchase:
- A bucket, for 1500 SamBucks.
- A single Snare, for 3999 SamBucks.
- A bandana, for 4999 SamBucks.
- A Ball-O-Pede, for 4999 SamBucks.
- A Bush Fit, for 5999 SamBucks.
- A party hat, for 6999 SamBucks.
- The Improvised Bat weapon skin, for 25000 SamBucks.
- Goggles, for 40000 SamBucks.
Both affiliations are able to purchase:
- A banana, for 500 SamBucks.
- Bloxy Cola, for 2000 SamBucks.
- A Landmine, for 3000 SamBucks.
- Contraband, for 39999 SamBucks.
Currency
The Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destinationCandy currency returns, used to buy Halloween Crates. Like previously, you can see the number of Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destinationCandy you have in your profile under Candy Count.
Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destinationCandy can be obtained either from killing Ghost NPCs that spawn during events, finding them inside Doors, or killing either of the Boss NPCs that are able to spawn. Unlike previous events, Candy is no longer able to spawn naturally around the map.
Doors are a new prop introduced in this event, which have a random chance of spawning in specified locations around the map. Knocking on a Door provides the player with several different possible rewards, listed below.
- 4-15 Candy (Candy rewarded is doubled if the player has more than 50 in their possession).
- A 2024 Halloween Crate.
- A fake crate that rewards the player with the Candy Trick Buck Costume.
- Gurt.
- Spawns a bomb.
- Spawn two Zombie NPCs (if opened during Manor Silence).
Ghost NPCs drop around 5 Candies if hit, which are able to be picked up by any player. Both teams are able to attack Ghosts, and it takes 5 hits from any attack regardless of damage to kill them.
-
Icon.
Pumpkins
Pumpkins can randomly spawn around the map, opening if a player touches them. Opening one will result in two different outcomes, either granting the player a speed boost for 3 seconds and rewarding them with 4 candy, or exploding, ragdolling and damaging anyone nearby.
Map
TBD
NPCs
Several new NPCs were added in this event, having both allies and foes for players to interact with.
???
??? is a Ghost NPC and shopkeeper found in the spawn room, taking Bandit's place for the duration of the event. They appear to be bandit himself turned into a ghost, featuring identical fur, tail, and claws to that of bandit, with the only visual differences being their pitch black body, glowing white eyes, and a lack of ears, being replaced with large antlers instead. Their voice also became unintelligible, and instead speaks in Chinese and Greek letters.
Similar to Bandit, their main purpose is to sell Crates and Items to the player.
Ghosts
The Ghosts are rather unremarkable NPCs found in the Hallows' Eve event, having slowly blinking pitch black bodies and glowing white eyes, decorated with randomly selected accessories from currently living Gootraxians or Humans in the server. They can randomly spawn around the map during Bluelight and Manor Silence events, and they will despawn completely upon said events ending. They don't speak, and are incapable of doing anything other than walking around. They would also have the accesories of a random player in the server.
Attacking a Ghost causes several pieces of Candy to drop, which can be collected by players. Similar to Ghost Fox, if a Ghost takes damage, they will momentarily turn invisible, although their bright white eyes can still be seen. If a Ghost is hit 5 times, they will despawn prematurely.
Frankenhazzy
Frankenhazzy is a heavily mutated form of Hazzy, acting as a raid boss for players from both sides to team up and defeat to receive various rewards. Appearing much more feral and aggressive than their playable counterparts, Frankenhazzy has visible stitches all over their body, and has several noticeable patches of multicolored fur comprising their body. Their eyes appear to be gouged out, with bright white Xs taking their place, and their chest cavity is ripped open, revealing a burning fire inside their body.
Frankenhazzy spawns every 35-70 minutes inside a dedicated fighting arena in the far west side of the map, with an accompanying health bar being displayed at the top of every player's screen, showing the boss's remaining HP, total HP, and how much damage the player has dealt to the boss. By default, Frankenhazzy has 2000 HP, with an extra 250 HP being added per player in the server.
During the boss fight, Frankenhazzy is able to use several different abilities to ward off attackers, listed below:
- Two swipes forward with their claws, ragdolling anyone they hit.
- A quick dash forward, increasing their movement speed and ragdolling anyone they run into.
- A roar, stunning every player in the arena at the same time.
- Passively spawning red X marks on the floor that slowly get brighter and begin to glow before exploding.
- Slams the ground with their paws, sending a shockwave forward that launches players hit.
- Bites a nearby player.
When Frankenhazzy dies, players are rewarded with Credits and Candy based on how much damage they did to it, with a direct kill rewarding 1000 Credits, plus an extra 100 for every player in the server. The 3 players that deal the most damage to the boss will be rewarded with a Remnant Crate automatically, with a 5% chance for any other participating player to also receive one. All participating players will also recieve the PATRICIDE badge and unlock Frankenhazzy in their bestiary. On top of this, when Frankenhazzy is defeated, they will drop a flurry of Candies on the floor for anybody to pick up. There is also a 10% chance that a physical Remant crate to be dropped on the floor for anybody to pick up, requiring players to stay near the crate for a long period of time to collect it.
Phantom Knight
The Phantom Knights are Boss NPCs that randomly spawn around the map. Killing them drops a Phantom Greatsword, a powerful weapon that is able to be picked up by either team by standing close to it for long enough. Only one Phantom Greatsword can exist in a server at any given time, and it comes with 3 separate abilities that its wielder is able to use.
Gurt
Gurt is a joke NPC originally found in an April Fools update for another Roblox game, Piggy.
Gurt has a random chance to spawn from a Door when a player opens one, where they will relentlessly attack anyone nearby, squealing and jumping around with retro-style jump sounds in order to damage and ragdoll players.
For some reason, Gurt is the only Door Event to have a pity system attached to it, with each Door opened adding 2.5 to the player's 'Gurt Pity', guaranteeing that he spawns when the pity reaches 250.
Crates & Skins
This event's main Crate is the 2024 Halloween Crate, featuring 20 new skins and costumes for players to collect, costing 375 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination to purchase one.
The Halloween Crate makes a return in this update, being renamed to "Refurbished Halloween Crate", containing all of the event-exclusive skins from 2022 without any of the basic skins that were present. The crate now costs 250 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination to purchase one.
The Remnant Crate is a special crate only obtainable through dealing enough damage to Frankenhazzy during its boss fight. It contains one long pipe skin and one Kaiju costume, both of which are exotic rarity.
The Knight Crate is a special crate only obtainable by collecting it off of a defeated Phantom Knight boss. It contains one Kaiju costume of legendary rarity which is automatically added to the player's inventory when picked up.
