Jawbreaker
Template:Gootraxian Jawbreaker is an upcoming orca/octopus Gootraxian. It has primarily black fur with a white underside. The inside of its ears, its eyes and mouth are a mix of yellow, pink, purple and blue. It has two pairs of arms and tentacles and a large back fin.
It was teased briefly in the #sneak-peeks
channel in the Discord server, but nothing else has been shown.

Kantasu
Template:CommunityGootrax Template:Gootraxian Kantasu is an upcoming kangaroo Gootraxian. It has saturated dark green fur, red spikes on its head and body, and a pouch on its stomach. Despite its color similarities to Melon Shork, it is actually based on a cactus, and not a watermelon.
Its model was shown off in the Sneak Peeks channel in the game's Discord server a couple of times, including a possible passive ability that allowed it to store Slime Pups in its pouch, but nothing else is known. Due to the removal of slime pups, the pouch passive will likely either be removed entirely, or repurposed for Shamrock. It also appears as a sticker in the game's Discord server despite not being added to the game.

|-|"Protobear"=
Protobear
Template:Gootraxian Protobear is an upcoming robotic polar bear Gootraxian. Being the replacement for Protogen, it has sleek white fur and light grey metalic armor and tubes covering its body. It has small, round ears on its head, and its face is a dark grey screen with 3 glowing yellow eyes.
A few work in progress models have been shown in the Sneak Peeks channel, and a Developer has stated that Protogen's Self Destruct ability will be repurposed for Protobear, likely as a passive ability instead of an active one, but nothing else is known. It is unclear if Protobear will receive a Power Outage/Blackout variant, similar to how Dark Protogen was a variant of Protogen, but it’s unlikely due to how similar the two removed Gootraxians were.
Protobear is a fan nickname for this Gootraxian, and will very likely have a different name on release or when new information is provided.
Abilities
Self Destruct (Passive)
On death, Protobear’s body will explode after a short timer, dealing heavy damage to all opposing humans in a large radius around them.

Covrus
Template:CommunityGootrax Template:Gootraxian Covrus is an upcoming crow/cobra hybrid Gootraxian. Its body is mainly dark purple with a bright magenta gradient going down to its legs, as well as neon blue and yellow stripes on its limbs, tail, back, and chest. It has two large fans on the sides of its head, and its face is a bright magenta computer screen.
It has yet to be shown off in Sneak Peeks, but was confirmed to be getting added to the game after winning the Gootraxian Contest in 2024.
Abilities

|-|Mimic=
Mimic
Template:CommunityGootrax Template:Gootraxian Mimic is an upcoming reptilian Gootraxian. It has a mostly brown body with a tan underbelly and front leg pattern, and several large green crystals portruding from its shoulders, back, paws, and arms. It also appears to be wearing the deceased body of a Kaiju over its head like a cloak.
It, along with Crawlipede, was confirmed to have its model finished in a sneak peek, paired with a photo of Mimic’s head, showing it wearing a Kaiju cloak.
Abilities
Gootraxian Copy
Mimic is able to copy the appearance of ally Gootraxians, allowing them to use the abilities of the species they copied. This disguise goes away once Mimic goes below 50 hp.
Mimic is unable to copy another Mimic or a Goggled nightcrawler with this ability.
While copying a Gootraxian, Mimic takes reduced damage from Bats, Long Pipes, and Nunchucks, but more damage from Katanas and Knives.
Acquirement
During power outages, collect a weapon or item with glowing yellow spots covering it. Depleting the item's durability causes you to transform into Mimic. You can also be infected by another Mimic Gootraxian.
Bestiary Entry
While the large, green spines on their bodies make them appear to be a close relative of the various crystaline Gootraxians that roam Kaiju's Cove, this is merely a decoy for luring its prey into a false sense of security. Mimics are masters of deception, able to disguise themselves as other specimens around the facility in order to harness their abilities. These reptilian Gootraxians are extremely skilled hunters, and will do anything in order to disguise itself as efficiently as possible. While Mimic sightings are rare, if one is spotted, it is not uncommon to see it wearing the pelt of a fallen Gootraxian ally over itself as a type of cloak. It is speculated that Mimics will choose another species of Gootraxian that they take a personal liking to before hunting them down and wearing their fur. Mimics can even take the form of inanimate objects on occasion, so make sure to examine your tools closely before using them. |

Remodels
Certain Gootraxians, such as Melon Shork and Dagoda, have plans to be remodelled.
Abilities
<tabber>
|-|Mocha=
A status effect icon for a possible Mocha ability was shown off in the #Podcast-Discussion
channel, involving giving Gootraxian teammates a “caffeinated” buff that increased movement speed, paired with an accompanying status effect icon for when the buff ends, instead slowing the recipient down. Given that the concept of status effect icons hasn’t been revisited, and that the ability was created when Mocha was still named Mochi, it is unknown if this ability will still be added.
The implementation of the Coffee food item and its functionality during the v3.3.1HW update makes it likely that this ability will soon be added.

|-|Crawlipede= Crawlipede will be receiving two abilities in a later update, both being from their Community Contest post. They weren’t included in the base release of Crawlipede due to time constraints and balancing concerns.
Tail Swipe
Crawlipede swings their tail forwards, damaging and ragdolling hit players, similarly to a Long Pipe.
Wall Climb
Crawlipede is able to climb walls, paired with a stamina bar to prevent glitching and camping.
|-|Zombie=
Shown periodically in the #General
channel, Developer Ronin has confirmed that Zombie will be receiving a ‘swarm-like’ ability, which seems to function as a modified grab with the ability for multiple Zombies to grab the same human player. This ability will function similarly to grab, although it has been confirmed that it will not deal damage-over-time or have lifesteal properties.
From the videos shown by Ronin, the ability will start with Zombie swinging their arms forward one at a time before doing a grabbing motion with both arms. If a human is in front of Zombie during this, it will pull them forwards and start attempting to bite their neck from behind, with the human kicking and struggling in front of them. If the Zombie is successful, both will slowly fall to the floor before getting back up in a ‘zombie-like’ pose with both arms outstretched in front of them.
|-|Witchbrew=
Witchbrew had two abilities get the “confirmed” tag in the #KP-Ingame-Suggestions
forum, both being suggested by fans. It is unknown if either of these abilities will still be added due to the introduction of Witchbrew’s Double Jump ability.
Acid Spit
Witchbrew spits a green acid-like liquid out of their mouth, damaging hit targets and slowing them down for a short duration.
Blindness
Witchbrew’s attack will apply a small blindness effect to hit targets, covering their screen in a thick black fog.
|-|Nightcrawler= It has been confirmed that Nightcrawler will be getting a complete combat/balance rework sometime in the future, possibly similar to their appearance in the Kaiju Engine.
A small portion of this has been shown off in the #Sneak Peeks
channel, featuring Nightcrawler throwing several fluid punches and kicks paired with purple trails following the limbs for added flair.
|-|Lemon Shork=
Shown periodically in the #General
channel, Developer Ronin has discussed giving Lemon Shork a new ability that expands on their lemon juice blinding passive. It was described as an arm swipe that releases lemon juice in an AOE in front of them, damaging and blinding opponents that it hits, and ragdolling opponents that are at point blank range of the swing.

Items/Weapons
Brass Knuckles
A pair of Brass Knuckles were shown off in the #Sneak Peeks
channel in 2021, with an equip animation and a possible swing animation. Nothing has been said about them since, other than a developer stating that they will eventually be added.
Sawblade
Sawblades have been shown off several times in the #Sneak Peeks
channel, as well as being included in the sneak peeks for the Blood toggle and Saturn's Rings ability. They function very similarly to the latter, being projectile weapons that can be thrown to deal damage. Along with this, they were also in the Kaiju Engine Combat Test as a developer-exclusive weapon.
Given that the Sawblades have seemingly been finished for a while now, it is unknown why they haven't been added yet.
Bandages
A roll of bandages was shown off in the #Sneak Peeks
channel, with a caption saying that they were exclusively for The Final Experiment, and a crossed out note saying “unless?”. With TFE’s cancellation and confirmation that most TFE content will be ported to Kaiju Paradise, it is very likely that bandages will be added as a fourth healing item.
-

Ditto, but with the sneak peek message included.
Baton
The Baton is a melee weapon suggested in the #KP-Ingame-Suggestions
channel and given the Confirmed tag. The suggested stats for the weapon are reminiscent of the Bat, dealing 27 damage with a cooldown of 1.5 seconds and a durability of 18.
Given that developer Ronin stated that the weapon was already planned before the suggestion was posted, it's unknown if these stats will be used in the final game.
Snowballs
Snowballs are an upcoming projectile weapon for the 2024 Late Winter event obtained from designated snow piles around the facility. It is currently unknown how they will function, other than having the ability to throw them.
Nunchucks Remodel
A remodel of the Nunchucks was shown off in the #Sneak Peeks
channel, showing a more sleek design with dark grey plastic sticks connected with a slim metal chain, as opposed to the wooden sticks and thick chain it currently has. The weapon also has grey trails coming from the stick being swung for added flair, and the model is noticeably longer than its current iteration.
The sneak peak itself claimed that the remodel would come in Part 2 of the 2024 Party Bash event, but given that the aforementioned event has yet to be released, it is unknown when this will be added.
Other Weapons
A handful of miscellaneous items such as construction hammers, wrenches, and frying pans have been shown in older sneak peeks. It is unknown if they will ever appear in KP.
Skins
Shiromori's Scissors
Shiromori's Scissors are a large pair of silver and purple gardening shears originating from the Mystery Skulls music videos. It is unknown what weapon the scissors would be a skin for, but judging by their use as a two-handed greatsword in the videos it appears in, it's likely going to be a Long Pipe skin.
According to developer Ronin, it is unknown if it will ever be added ingame as an obtainable skin.
-
A model of the scissors.
Keytar
The Keytar is a mix between a piano keyboard and a guitar. Given that the sneak peek alluded to players enjoying guitar skins, it's most likely going to be a Bat skin.
Demonfire Knife
The Demonfire Knife is a knife design taken from the game Yakuza Zero. Not much is known about the weapon, although it was confirmed to be in production by developer Ronin posting a screenshot of the skin being modeled in blender.
Cosmic Dust Remodel
Cosmic Dust is a legendary katana skin obtainable by crafting all 3 of the Nebula Bats together in the player’s inventory. The skin itself is relatively lackluster, having no special effects or features other than simple particles emitting from its model, and its design is simply a model ripped from the Roblox catalogue.
Recently, it has been confirmed by a developer in the #KP-Ingame-Suggestions
channel that the skin will be receiving a complete overhaul, with the suggestion itself being marked “considered”. Due to the suggestion’s considered status, it’s possible that the following features will be implemented for the skin (taken from the suggestion itself):
- New model
- Rarity changed from Legendary to Exotic
- Hit/Kill effects taken from the Nebula Bats
- Ultra Rare Galaxia Knife skin added to its crafting recipe
- New inspect animation
- Unique function similar to Yamato’s R ability.
Considering that another Legendary Katana skin, Toxic Waste, is a simple recolor of Cosmic Dust, it’s likely that it will also receive a remodel, although this is not confirmed.
Confirmed Suggestion Skins
Before Skins and Costumes were given their own channel to be suggested in, a large number of skins suggested in #KP-Ingame-Suggestions
were given the Confirmed tag and greenlit to be added to the game. Despite the fact that they were given the Confirmed tag, it has been stated that they haven’t been added yet due to the fact that no developers currently want to put time into modeling them.

Before Skins and Costumes were given their own channel to be suggested in, a large nuber of skins suggested in #KP-Ingame-Suggestions
were given the Considered tag for further evaluation on whether they should be added. Despite the fact that they were given the Considered tag, it has been stated that they haven’t been added yet due to the fact that no developers currently want to put time into modeling them. Costumes
Retro Nightshade
Retro Nightshade is a Nightshade with a pair of dark purple jeans and a long-sleeve Tshirt with a white front and dark purple sleeves, as well as a purple alien emoji on its front and several glowing symbols on its sleeves. Its tail is also dissolving into several purple pixel-like squares.
The costume was shown off in the #Sneak Peeks
channel by developer Blaxor. It is unknown if the costume will ever actually be added.
Kitsune Ghost Fox
Kitsune Ghost Fox is a Ghost Fox with pine green fur adorned with several terracotta red ropes and clothes on their limbs, torso, and tail. They are also wearing a bleached yellow Kitsune mask with tear patterns running down its eyes and a large red sun pattern on its forehead, along with another red rope wrapped around their head.
The costume was at least somewhat confirmed in a Dev Podcast, where developer Xotile streamed modeling a part of the costume. It is unknown if the costume will ever actually be added.
Alchemist Witchbrew
Alchemist Witchbrew is a Witchbrew adorned with a backpack and tool belt, both carrying several glowing potions in their pouches and pockets. They also have a pair of green safety goggles with a gold strap, an orange bandana around their neck, and dark grey gloves and boots.
Although not officially confirmed, developer Blaxor has stated he wanted to model and add the costume sometime in the future.
Shamrock Bomb
Formerly the Pup Bomb before Slime Pups were removed, the Shamrock Bomb is a costume for Shamrock that simply straps a brick of C4 to their back. Not much is known about the costume, but it was confirmed to be added during the 2023 Costume Contest after winning the 3rd place prize.
Although the costume itself was for Slime Pup, it was confirmed in a private channel that the costume would be reworked for Shamrock when they get added to the game.
Considered Suggestion Costumes
Before Skins and Costumes were given their own channel to be suggested in, a large number of costumes suggested in #KP-Ingame-Suggestions
were given the Considered tag for further evaluation on whether they should be added. Despite the fact that they were given the Considered tag, it has been stated that they haven’t been added yet due to the fact that no developers currently want to put time into modeling them. Locations
Mineshafts
The Mineshafts are a sub-area of the Crystal Caverns, featuring cramped hallways, minecart tracks, and piles of rubble. Not much is known about the area, but developer Ronin has stated that the entrance will be connected to the closed heavy door in the back of the cavern, and that they would look similarly to the mineshafts featured in Days Gone.
Events
Purification
The Purification is a currently unused event and the third known event in Kaiju Paradise that was available for a very short time through the use of developer commands. It has been confirmed that the concept of the purification will be reworked from the ground up, and no information about its rework is known.
Before it was removed, the purification involved every player needing to collect keycards around the map while waiting for the bunker in the Crystal Cavern to open 4 minutes after the event begins. Once the door opens, players have another 4 minutes to enter the hallway and scan their collected keycards at the back of the hallway to gain access to the safe zones within. Given that there are very few keycards around the map, players who fail to enter the safezones will succumb to the purification's cleansing protocol and be instantly killed, whereas players who survive will simply be teleported into the Crystal Cavern and be rewarded with a Purified Crate and the Ultima Purgare badge.
The Purification did not have any exclusive Gootraxians or variants to obtain, so despite things like Kaiju Crystals and Pup Puddles turning orange, you'd still obtain their non-event forms. Before it was decided to be reworked, it was planned to never have any Gootraxians tied to it, but this has been changed following its rework.

Status Effect/Perk Icons
Status Effect/Perk Icons were teased in the #Sneak-Peeks
and #Community-Feedback
channels, with the possibility of buffs and debuffs becoming a more widespread mechanic within the game. The Sneak Peak itself showed off a “fear” debuff applied to Gootraxians when standing near a Chainsaw, with the community feedback asking KP members what other status effects they would like to see in the game.
Outside of this, only a handful of icons were actually shown off in the Discord server, as well as the mechanic making a brief appearance in the Kaiju Engine Combat Test.
Kaiju Engine
Within the Kaiju Engine, only three perk icons were used, all appearing in the bottom right corner of the affected player’s screen, listed below:
- :3
- Had a small chance to be applied to “feline” Gootraxians upon transformation (only Hazzy and Catte at the time).
- Caused the player to make a “meow” sound effect whenever they sent a message in the chat, as well as shrink their player model by 0.8x.
-
:3's perk icon.
- Armored
- Applied to players wearing Hazmat Suits.
- No effects in game, but was intended to show the Hazmat’s durability, with the icon draining of color the lower the durability was.
-
Armored's perk icon.
- Heal
- Applied to players being healed by a Medkit.
- Healed the player for 75 HP over a span of 1.5 seconds, and could be stacked with itself by using multiple medkits.
-
Heal's perk icon.
Unimplemented/Teased
Several status effect icons were teased in the game's discord, scattered around in different channels. For the most part, only their icons were shown, but their effects can be inferred from the color and picture on the icon. Said icons are listed below:
- Fear
- Possibly intended to be another passive effect of the Chainsaw weapon, applied to Gootraxians when a Chainsaw user was nearby.
- Unknown effect.
- Due to the removal of the Chainsaw weapon from public servers, this status effect is likely scrapped.
-
Fear's perk .
-
Fear Perk (second image)
- Biohazard Inducer
- Likely used for Azarue's poison debuff on their attack. (Possibly would have been used by Venomew and Plantix before they were scrapped/removed)
- Recipient has a small chance to inflict the Biohazard debuff upon hitting a target. (poison damage)
-
Biohazard Inducer's perk icon.
- Protective Instinct
- Originally intended to be a passive ability for Slime Hound, applied to all Slime Hounds of a specific color when a Slime Pup of the same color took damage. The buff would go away after a certain amount of time, or when the Slime Pup returned to full HP.
- Likely would have increased the recipient's damage dealt to other targets.
- Statistics for this status effect are taken from an ability suggestion for slime hound by a KP server member, as the icon was very likely inspired by the suggestion due to the creator of it being directly pinged when the icon was shown off.
- Due to the removal of the Slime Gootraxians, this status effect is likely scrapped, but could possibly return with the implementation of Shamrock and Snaptrap.
-
Protective instinct's perk icon.
- Caffeinated
- Likely used for a planned Mocha ability, covered earlier in this article.
- Increases the recipient's movement speed and passive healing.
-
Caffeinated's perk icon.
- Caffeine Crash
- Likely used for a planned Mocha ability, covered earlier in this article.
- Decreases the recipient's movement speed.
-
Caffeine Crash's perk icon.
