Weapons are the main form of defense in Kaiju Paradise as a survivor. Each weapon has differing stats from one another, with some even bearing unique abilities. All of the weapons in the game have a universal cooldown system, even after switching or unequipping the item. This cooldown can be seen by the blue bar at the bottom of the screen. Most of them also have durability represented by the green bar, which, when depleted, will break that item and render it unusable. Most weapons also cancel out a Gootraxian's Grab ability should they be grappling someone.

The majority of weapons can knock Gootraxians back with a varying amount of force and are able to Stun or Ragdoll them upon landing a hit, which will provoke the Omen Bar, a blue bar above a Gootraxian's health. When filled, it prevents the Gootraxian from being stunned or ragdolled during its duration. The length of the omen and stun varies depending on the weapon used. Additionally, during the duration of the stun or ragdoll, damage dealt to the debilitated Gootraxian is reduced by 25%. Due to the omen bars being applied during the duration of a stun or ragdoll, the effective time before a stun may be inflicted once again can be calculated by simply subtracting the duration of the omen with the duration of the stun. This effective time will be displayed within the parenthesis under the Omen statistic.

Additionally, if the Raytraxian is in a stun or a ragdoll, the damage dealt will vary. During a ragdoll, the damage will be reduced by 33.33%, and during a stun, the damage will be divided by how many times the Raytraxian was hit while stunned. Due to the omen bars being applied during the duration of a stun or ragdoll, the effective time before a stun may be inflicted once again can be calculated by simply subtracting the duration of the omen with the duration of the stun. Weapons vary widely in length, in which longer weapons, such as the Long Pipe have a higher Raw Reach than others, which is defined as the furthest point a player can hit a Gootraxian when they are both parallel to each other. This, however, differs from Range which is the maximum Distance, as displayed on the debug readout, that a player's torso can be from their target's torso. If a player successfully lands a hit, but the distance between their target and them is above the maximum distance, the hit will not register as a valid hit. Distance can also be converted into studs by simply multiplying the distance by 2, which will be displayed in parenthesis under the Range statistic.

Additionally, all weapons have a Max Hit statistic, which indicates the maximum amount of players that can be hit by a weapon in a single swing.

Golden weapons are essentially buffed variants of their normal counterparts, typically sporting higher damage or more durability. They have an unique hit noise, give off a slight glow, leave a golden, sparkling trail and will "goldify" any Gootraxian killed with it's usage. Any golden weapon can be turned in for up to 2000 credits depending on its durability. It cannot be re-obtained by any other means if you die, leave the game or get infected besides kill streaks or illegitimate ways. Golden weapons do not have any skins.

In game, the ray gun fires a green blast of energy at the target and deals a small amount of splash damage to any enemies near the shot. It takes only 20 shots before needing to be reloaded. Each sound that accompanies the firing and reloading of the Ray Gun is just as Sci-Fi as its model looks.

The Kawaii Launcher is a moderator-exclusive rocket propelled grenade launcher which appears to be pink and white. The projectile it fires as well appears to be a pink grenade with white stripes akin to that of the Kawaii Shork, and bears fins that are pink with white stripes on the bottom, similar to a <abbr title="Except it turns you into an anthropomorphic pink goo shark instead of flying to space.">cartoon spaceship</abbr>.

Upon firing, the Kawaii Launcher will instantly infect any individual hit directly by the resulting explosion into a Kawaii Shork, an effect similar to the Kawaii Bat. Also, upon detonation of the rocket, it will drop pellets onto the floor, which melt into a large pink puddle, infecting any survivor immediately if they come into contact. It can fire up to 5 rockets before breaking, the text at the bottom of the screen stating <span style="color:#FF5959">"The entire Kawaii Launcher fell apart."</span>

It cannot affect Gootraxians and will only hit survivors. It deals no damage, aside from a very slight knockback effect and ragdoll.

The Laminax Prototype or Prototype L is a ranged, futuristic weapon and a reference to the game Pixel Gun 3D. It represents a laser sniper rifle with a mostly white color on its middle, black on the front & back and a bit of yellow, orange and purple mixes. It also possesses a purple Laminax logo variant on it's stock. According to its statistics, it's capable of dealing 90 damage in a single shot, which is bolstered with it's fully automatic capabilities.

Its bullets are capable of penetrating any surface and infinite surfaces, the only limitation to its intense power being its range. The purchase of the rifle doesn't cost the player any tokens and is free and easily accessible, but only to the developers.
A Landmine is an explosive device concealed under or on the ground and designed to destroy or disable enemy targets as they pass over or near it. When deployed, the landmine will turn almost invisible or transparent. Anyone that walks over it, including the user who deployed it, will be blown up. It has only 1 use.

Upon placing the Landmine, the text <span style="color:#FF5959">"You decided to plant this landmine.."</span> appears.

The Joema is an imposing oversized nine-iron, stated to be "forged by an idiot". As form follows function, the Joema boasts the highest knockback out of any weapon in the game, capable of launching players into, across and sometimes out of the map.

It is unique in a variety of ways, it has no maximum to the amount of players it can hit, which paired with its relatively fast cooldown, allows the user to send players flying across the map with ease. Furthermore, the durability bar of the weapon is hidden as it has infinite durability. The Joema can block grabs.
The RPG-7 is a reusable, anti-tank, rocket-propelled grenade launcher designed and manufactured in Russia. In-game, the RPG fires a dumb-fire rocket that explodes on impact, dealing large amounts of damage and ragdolling any players caught in the blast, including the user if they fire too close to themselves. This weapon can fire up to 5 rockets, however after firing, the player must reload after every shot.

The Joeda, not to be confused with the Joema, is an gargantuan claw hammer stated to be "forged by a GENIUS". The BFG-50, the first rifle designed by Serbu Firearms, is a single-shot bolt action carbine that is chambered for the .50 BMG caliber cartridge. Developed and manufactured in the US by Serbu Firearms, the BFG-50 while not exactly the most practical of firearms, is a very entertaining one. Shooting a player with the BFG-50 will deal 140 health, making it capable of one-shotting most if not any player. Additionally, it was capable of penetrating any surface in the game and was capable of going through forcefields.

The M4A1, a fully automatic variant of the standard M4 carbine, is a gas-operated magazine-fed carbine rifle chambered for the 5.56×45mm cartridge. It was developed in the United States during the 1980s as a specialized variant of the M16, but has since seen widespread adoption due to its ergonomic design. However, design aside, it is entirely unremarkable mechanically in-game. Its model, along with the AWM, comes from Phantom Forces, being (most likely) the Pre-4.9.0 model.

Latest revision as of 03:43, 4 July 2025

Weapons are the main form of defense in Kaiju Paradise as a survivor. Each weapon has differing stats from one another, with some even bearing unique abilities. All of the weapons in the game have a universal cooldown system, even after switching or unequipping the item. This cooldown can be seen by the blue bar at the bottom of the screen. Most of them also have durability represented by the green bar, which, when depleted, will break that item and render it unusable. Most weapons also cancel out a Raytraxian's Grab ability should they be grappling someone.

General Statistics

The majority of weapons can knock Raytraxians back with a varying amount of force and are able to Stun or Ragdoll them upon landing a hit, which will provoke the Omen Bar, a blue bar above a Raytraxian's health. When filled, it prevents the Raytraxian from being stunned or ragdolled during its duration. The length of the omen and stun varies depending on the weapon used. This effective time will be displayed within the parenthesis under the Omen statistic.

Weapons vary widely in length, in which longer weapons, such as the Long Pipe have a higher Raw Reach than others, which is defined as the furthest point a player can hit a Raytraxian when they are both parallel to each other.

Almost every weapon in the game has multiple, unique skins. These skins can be unboxed within Bandit's Shop and equipped, however, they do not provide any statistical advantage.

Acquirement

Some weapons can be bought within Bandit's Shop while others can only spawn around the map. Golden Weapons can only be obtained per 30 kill streak.

Golden Weapons

Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination
A Raytraxian being goldified by a golden machete.

Golden weapons are essentially buffed variants of their normal counterparts, typically sporting higher damage or more durability. They have an unique hit noise, give off a slight glow, leave a golden, sparkling trail and will "goldify" any Raytraxian killed with it's usage. Any golden weapon can be turned in for up to 2000 credits depending on its durability. It cannot be re-obtained by any other means if you die, leave the game or get converted besides kill streaks or illegitimate ways. Golden weapons do not have any skins.

Obtainable Weapons

All weapons listed are obtainable publicly and available to everyone. All Raytraxians, except Hazzy under specific means, cannot pick up or utilize weapons.

The Stool is the exception to this, as all Raytraxians are able to equip it.

Trivia

General

Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination
Axe's temporarily extended hitbox.
  • Before V3.1, all weapons had a predetermined spot as to where they spawned.
    • Few still do after the update, but most of them are now random.
  • You can fully repair the durability of your Bat by switching the skin back and forth on Bandit's Shop. This is still in the game and it's unknown if it is a bug or not.
    • You also used to be able to fix other weapons by doing this, allowing you to have an "infinite" durability as long as you keep doing the method. This has since been patched.
  • The Scythe was made by Blaxor, but Deathtrap#6258 or Darrealisboss had won a contest in TUF and had requested for the Scythe to be added.
  • For a brief period of time after the Axe's implementation of newer animation, the hitbox was briefly overextended.

Weapon Notes

Public Weapons

  • During the April Fools 2021 event, guns were available in the shop for a limited time.
    • They were available again for April Fools 2022, however you were unable to actually use them as they would appear to be "jammed up".
    • They have since been added back for the 2025 Late Winter Event and can be found within Long Presents. They are low durability, only being able to fire a handful of rounds before jamming.
  • Achieving a certain killstreak would have given you random guns, but this feature was removed before it even made out to the public.
  • Bricks, Taser, and the Crystalized Bats (Kaiju Bashers, Manic Strikers, Panther Bombarders) are the only public weapons that do not have golden variants.
  • It has been confirmed by a developer that the only reason Nunchucks were not in public servers is that the item model has an extreme amount of detail in it, which the developers fear could lag people's game, should enough people have the weapon out.
    • This has since been changed as Nunchucks have been added to public servers, the reason for their inclusion is currently unknown.

Exclusive Weapons

  • Moderators cannot use or display exclusive weapons to public servers unless on certain conditions. Getting caught using them will get them warned and even demoted by a higher rank.
    • However Developers and Administrators can use them freely as they please.
  • The M4A1 was available in the gun roster until it was removed due to being a stolen model.
  • The M134 was previously called Blaxor's M134 before officially being added to the gun roster.
  • The G27X is not a real gun. Instead, it is a fictional replacement version of the G27 based on Glock's naming scheme for Compact models with Subcompact barrels.
  • The EXTERMINATOR and X-TERMINATOR are based on the Cobray Terminator, except chambered in 4 Gauge and made out of low-quality pipes.
  • The RPG's projectile is a brick.
  • RPG was added due to aethelbeorn or Flarebeorn winning a contest and requested for this weapon to be added<ref>

Known Bugs

NOTE: Most bugs that are noted here are from previous versions. They have been fixed and cannot be replicated in the game's current, most stable version.
Post-V3.1 Bugs
  • Upon the release of V3.1 Part 1, the Knife was able to kill Raytraxians instantly with just one hit.
  • The Absolute Zero skin's kill effect could kick people out of the game due to the anti-cheat system that activates when the body parts are removed.
  • The Goldify knife skin, when thrown, will appear to be thrown higher than what it was. However, it will still hit the intended target.
  • Overseer machete skin's kill effect can make Raytraxian accessories that are droppable such as buckets or shades go invisible, but can still be worn like usual upon stepping on it, making it act as an invisible "landmine".
  • Because of the Roblox March 2022 Music update, many sounds within the game used to be broken. This included the music that certain weapons skins would play.
  • For a very brief period of time, it was possible to clip through walls with the Axe's new animation.
Pre-V3.1 Bugs
  • Upon the release of the Katana, you were able to stack the weapon until your inventory was full.
  • A Katana's dash can sometimes fling or launch the player on certain places or conditions, or not make you dash at all. While the detection system got reworked, it can still rarely happen.
  • When you use a Kaiju Basher and kill a Goo while they are grabbing someone, the person who is grabbed cannot move at all or reset until they leave the game.
  • Some weapons that can ragdoll / knockback such as Bricks or Long Pipes can immobilize targets for a certain amount of time or fling them really far if done correctly, this can still occasionally happen, although it is very rare.
  • There are some ways to bypass the weapon cooldown by using bugs:
    • FPS boosters.
    • Doing certain complicated methods.
    • Hazmat Suits, immediately after being torn apart, in which it'll be ignored for a short window time when timed right.
    • Hitting a tree where it gets ignored for a short window time.
    • Upon the start / end of event such as Blackout or Power Outage. Timing it right will ignore it for a short window time.
