The Crystalized Bats are three different weapons in Kaiju Paradise. They all have a shared appearance of being crystals attached onto a holder with colors that correspond to the Raytraxian they were dropped from.
Properties
Each of the Crystalized Bats function exactly the same outside of visuals. They have better stats than the normal bat, having much greater knockback power and increased damage.
Each of the Crystalized Bats have a unique kill animation, those being as follows:
- Kaiju Basher: crystals fling out of the target before eventually exploding.
- Manic Striker: streaks of lightning shoot out of any nearby crystals, hitting the target and exploding them.
- Hebi Bombarder: claw marks slash at the target for a few seconds before exploding.
If a Crystalized Bat breaks, the text at the bottom of the screen will change depending on the color, being as follows:
- Kaiju Basher: "The crystalized bat snapped in half."
- Manic Striker: "The dark crystalized bat snapped in half."
- Hebi Bombarder: "The dark purple crystalized bat snapped in half."
- The Crystalized Bats and the Bat share the same hit and swing sound effects.
- The sound that plays when the Kaiju Basher kills a target:
- The sound that plays when the Manic Striker kills a target:
- The sound that plays when the Hebi Bombarder kills a target:
- The sound that plays when a Crystalized Bat breaks:
As of V3.3, none of the Crystalized Bats have a skin.

Tips
Please note that most things listed in this section are not objective, and are not the "Correct" way to use them. This section is used to give advice to players who want to learn how to use their tools more efficiently.
- The Crystalized Bats are a slight upgrade to the Bat, dealing higher damage, ragdolling upon breaking, longer stun duration, and more knockback.
- Despite this, it usually isn't recommended to purchase one from Bandit's shop, as you can just find a Machete around the map or purchase it from the shop for slightly more tokens, which does more damage and has more durability.
- It is recommended to not use them against opponents when there's a fast hitting weapon user nearby, such as a Chainsaw, Knife, or Katana, as the increased knockback makes it much harder for them to effectively hit the stunned Raytraxian.
- If you are chasing a Raytraxian, it is usually not recommended to use a Crystalized Bat, as the high knockback puts distance between you and them, and using a weapon with a lower knockback, like a Bat. This puts you in an optimal setup to use a weapon like the Sledge Hammer against them after the stun duration.
- However on the other hand, the crystalized bats high knockback on hit can be extremely useful in gaining some breathing space if one gets cornered.
- The Crystalized bats upon a hit with low durability, will explode - sending whoever one hits ragdolling away. This can used for knocking back any offending players far away from you.
Trivia
- The Manic Striker and Hebi Bombarder were originally called Carneline Striker and Panther Bombarder respectively and used to drop from the aforementioned Raytraxians.
- The Hebi Bombarder is currently the only Crystalized Bat that has never been available for purchase from the Shop.
- The Manic Striker's kill effect only happens when near a crystal.
- Additionally, the color of the lightning changes depending on the event.
- The kill effect used to trigger near the radioactive crystals that Toxic Rabbit and Nuclear Rabbit are derived from due to them previously just being recolored Kaiju crystals, but this has since been removed.
- Additionally, the color of the lightning changes depending on the event.
- The Crystalized Bats are all just recolored bats with crystals attached to them, rather than being uniquely modeled.
- The Kaiju Basher uses a blue handle.
- The Manic Striker uses a purple handle.
- The Hebi Bombarder uses a black handle.
- Despite this, the only Bat Skins that resemble any of the Crystalized Bats are the Cyan Bat and the Kaiju Bat (the former of which is purposefully designed to look like a Kaiju Basher), as there currently isn't a purple or black bat skin in the game.
- All of the Crystalized Bats have handles with two different colors on them, instead of one solid color.
- When picked up by Hazzy, all Crystalized Bats will knockback and stun humans, akin to a human using the weapon on a Raytraxian. It is unclear if this is a bug or not.
- The Crystalized Bats are one of the only weapons in the game that don't have a golden variant - attempting to obtain a golden weapon using them would simply return a Golden Bat, and in older versions of the game, outright remove the weapon from your inventory without anything in return.
- In the Experimental version of the game, there exists a unique weapon known as the Strange Gasher, dubbed John by its break text, being a recolored Kaiju Basher made to resemble a Strange Crystal. It's similar to a golden weapon in many aspects, such as being colored yellow, having exaggerated effects compared to its normal variant, and having a generic human name in its break text.
- Hitting a target with John causes the weapon to immediately explode, breaking the weapon and dealing heavy damage to anyone in its radius, including the user and members of their own team. This will often instantly kill the user, although it's possible to survive if they're far enough away from the hit target.
- Despite this, it's unlikely that John will become usable in public servers and receive a fancier model, as it was confirmed by a staff member that it was made as a joke.
