Kratos has the longest range of any melee weapon in the game, making it a perfect tool to catch fleeing opponents off guard. During the third swing's animation, the user is unable to move or turn their player model to change the swing's direction.

*The Crystalized Bats are a slight upgrade to the Pipe, dealing the same damage, ragdolling upon breaking, longer stun duration, and more knockback.
*Due to the Nunchucks extremely short cooldown, it's usually recommended to use it instead of the Knife for melee purposes.
**Despite this, it usually isnt recommended to purchase one from Abble's shop, as you can just buy a Machete for slightly more tokens, which does more damage and has more durability.
*Thanks to the Nunchucks having an extremely short cooldown, missing attacks is much less punishing. Spam-clicking may actually be a reliable tactic.
*It is recommended to not use them against opponents when there's a fast hitting weapon user nearby, such as a Chainsaw, Knife, or Katana, as the increased knockback makes it much harder for them to effectively hit the stunned Gootraxian.
*The durability of the Nunchucks drains much quicker than you'd think due to its short cooldown, so be mindful when considering a target.
*With the Nunchucks lacking the ability to stun on hit, they serve more as a finisher weapon, being able to 2-3 hit weakened players while running them down.
*As a Hazzy, the Nunchucks pair well with grabs - with the former being useful for dropping their health down to a point where they'll run slower, allowing one to score an easier grab.

*The Panther Bombarder is currently the only Crystalized Bat that has never been available for purchase from Abble.
*The Nunchucks are erroneously named Nunchunks in-game.
**This could be due to multiple in-universe reasons, those of which being:
*The Nunchucks used to be only obtainable in Private Severs. This was changed during the 2023 Anniversary event for unknown reasons, allowing players to use them in Public Servers. They remained in Public Servers even after the event ended.
***Abble is afraid of the dark, meaning she wouldn't be able to interact with Panthers enough to get any.
**The reasoning for their exclusion was confirmed by a developer<!-- Link proof of confirmation via a footnote -->, stating that the Nunchucks model was too detailed and might cause lag if too many players had it equipped.
***Panthers are known to eat slime pups, meaning Abble is likely scared of or protected from them, and therefore wouldn't be able to try and get any.
*Developer Ronin stated in a Skin suggestion post that the Nunchucks will not be receiving any skins, and was planned to be removed in 3.2.
*The Panther Bombarder has the same crystals that the Kaiju Basher and Carneline Striker do, despite the fact that Panthers don't have any crystals on their bodies, while Carnelines and Kaijus do.
**Given that the Nunchucks recieved a golden variant in V3.3.1, this is likely outdated and no longer true.
*The Carneline Striker's kill effect only happens when near a crystal.
*The Nunchucks are the only weapon to recieve a Golden variant in V3.3.1 that did not have one beforehand.
**Additionally, the color of the lightning changes depending on the event.

*The Crystalized Bats are currently the only weapons in the game to have increased knockback that don't ragdoll hit targets upon hitting them.
**This does not include the 20th successful hit from the weapon, as that does ragdoll opponents along with the weapon exploding.
**This is set to change soon, as the repurposing of the broken taser into an actual weapon has the same effect.
*The Crystalized Bats are all just recolored bats with crystals attached to them, rather than being uniquely modeled.
**The Kaiju Basher uses a blue handle.
**The Carneline Striker uses a purple handle.
**The Panther Bombarder uses a black handle.
***Despite this, the only Bat Skins that resemble any of the Crystalized Bats are the Cyan Bat and the Kaiju Bat (the former of which is purposefully designed to look like a Kaiju Basher), as there currently isn't a purple or black bat skin in the game.
*All of the Crystalized Bats have handles with two different colors on them, instead of one solid color.

The Nunchucks are a "secondary" weapon in Kaiju Paradise. They are two sticks of wood that are connected to each other at their ends by a short metal chain. Their golden variant, Kratos, is a pair of serrated blades connected to the user's arms via long metal chains attached by their handles.

Properties

The Nunchucks are essentially a remixed version of the Knife, having more exaggerated ups and downs compared to it. Said differences are listed below.

  • The Nunchucks have a shorter cooldown and more range compared to the Knife.
  • The Nunchucks have less damage, less max hit, less durability, and cannot be thrown.

Upon breaking, text at the bottom of the screen will say: "The nunchucks broke."

Kratos has the longest range of any melee weapon in the game, making it a perfect tool to catch fleeing opponents off guard. Every third swing with the weapon will have the user throw the blades over their head and directly forwards, with successful hits forcefully pulling targets towards the user, stunning them for a short time. During the third swing's animation, the user is unable to move or turn their player model to change the swing's direction.

Upon breaking, text at the bottom of the screen will say: "Kratos broke."

  • The sound that plays when you use the Nunchucks:

File:Nunchucksuse.mp3

  • The Nunchucks and the Bat share the same hit sound effect.

As of V3.2, the Nunchucks have no skins.

Obtainment

The Nunchucks cannot be obtained from Bandit's Shop. Instead, they can be found scattered around the facility in four specific spawn locations, which are listed in the Weapons page. Like all other common items, these spawn every 180 seconds (3 minutes).

Kratos can only be obtained by getting a 30 Kill/Infect streak with Nunchucks used for the 30th kill.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • High durability
  • Extremely short cooldown
  • Decent range

Cons:

  • Extremely low damage
  • Does not stun on hit
  • Doesn't spawn often

Tips

Please note that most things listed in this section are not objective, and are not the "Correct" way to use them. This section is used to give advice to players who want to learn how to use their tools more efficiently.

  • Due to the Nunchucks extremely short cooldown, it's usually recommended to use it instead of the Knife for melee purposes.
  • Thanks to the Nunchucks having an extremely short cooldown, missing attacks is much less punishing. Spam-clicking may actually be a reliable tactic.
  • The durability of the Nunchucks drains much quicker than you'd think due to its short cooldown, so be mindful when considering a target.
  • With the Nunchucks lacking the ability to stun on hit, they serve more as a finisher weapon, being able to 2-3 hit weakened players while running them down.
  • As a Hazzy, the Nunchucks pair well with grabs - with the former being useful for dropping their health down to a point where they'll run slower, allowing one to score an easier grab.

Trivia

  • The Nunchucks are erroneously named Nunchunks in-game.
  • The Nunchucks used to be only obtainable in Private Severs. This was changed during the 2023 Anniversary event for unknown reasons, allowing players to use them in Public Servers. They remained in Public Servers even after the event ended.
    • The reasoning for their exclusion was confirmed by a developer, stating that the Nunchucks model was too detailed and might cause lag if too many players had it equipped.
  • Developer Ronin stated in a Skin suggestion post that the Nunchucks will not be receiving any skins, and was planned to be removed in 3.2.
    • Given that the Nunchucks recieved a golden variant in V3.3.1, this is likely outdated and no longer true.
  • The Nunchucks are the only weapon to recieve a Golden variant in V3.3.1 that did not have one beforehand.
