April Fools Events
The April Fools Events are an annual event in Kaiju Paradise. As the name implies, they are joke events made for April Fools. So far, three April Fools events have occurred, in 2021, 2022, and 2024.
<tabber> |-|2021=
2021
2021 was the first occurrence of April Fools. It began on March 31st 2021 and ended on April 1st 2021.
Abble Shop
The Guns that were normally exclusive to private servers were added to Abble's Store in public servers for the duration of the event. They were actually usable and could only be used by the humans.
- The shop was supposed to have the M60 for 12 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination, but was removed 8 minutes after the update because it broke the Shop.
Miscellaneous
- All the sounds in the game were replaced by the Vine Boom meme sound effect.
- The background music in Abble's Shop was replaced by "19 dollar fortnite card".
- Abble "insulted" you for being low on tokens, as the counter above would read "ur poor!!" next to your token count.

2022
The 2022 update, dubbed KAIJU CRAFTERS, began on March 31st 2022 and ended on April 5th 2022. It featured a new currency, various miscellaneous changes, and a map texture update.
Update Screen
When the game updates, this screen will appear with a Night Shade dancing to the beat of Fishcracks' remix of "Revenge" - A Minecraft Parody of Usher's DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love, which played in the background.
Currency
Experience (or EXP Points) are an April Fools-exclusive currency that spawned around the map, similar to other event currencies. Touching one that spawns around the map only gave you 1
while killing or infecting didn't reward any. They currently have no purpose. However, Blaxor has stated in the game's official Discord Server that they might be used to obtain a skin in a later update.
Store
Guns from 2021 returned to the shop for 2 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination, however, you were unable to actually use them as they would appear to be "jammed up." Attempting to use a gun would have yielded the text: "ITS JAMMED! human main be like 😭😭😭😭😭💀💀💀💀🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿" and played the Vine Boom sound effect.
-
None of the guns had images and had the same description…
-
Except for the M134, which had a different description.

Crates and Skins
While this update didn't add any new skins directly, there was a cosmetic change that changed the visual lottery effect that appears when opening crates to exclusively show a single unobtainable skin called the Ban Hammer. This skin was not added to any crates and was not obtainable by normal means.

Map
This update includes the standard map with all new textures matching various Minecraft blocks. While the main structure remains the same, all locations have been modified to feature new Minecraft themed props such as wooden doors, iron bars, glass panes, and pistons.
Only the 2 radios at the Cafeteria played different music, both being cover of "Revenge" - A Minecraft Parody of Usher's DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love recreated by Fishcracks. All of the other radios remained silent.
During Power Outages, the cave would be covered in a purplish hue, while in a Blackout, the black fog that usually covers the map is inverted, becoming a blinding white.

Fake Goggles
Occasionally, fake goggles would appear in normal conditions around the map in where actual goggles spawn at. However, when equipped, the message "lol fake goggle! 😊😊😊😊" would appear and a laughing sound could be heard, mocking the player for thinking the goggles were real.
- When the update was first released, the goggles would actually turn the player into a Nightcrawler, but this was quickly fixed.
-

Miscellaneous
- The Power Outage variants of Slime Pups, Slime Hounds and Slime Dragons were recolored to a purple color, along with their purple spikes resembling 'lean', a popular "meme beverage" at the time.
- The visual appearance of credits were changed to a model of the Amogus character from the infamous Amogus meme. Collecting a credit would make the SFX of a guy shouting Among Us (SOMEWHAT LOUD) play. These were only a visual effect and didn't change the amount of credits dropped.
- The player would have a set of Minecraft Hearts above their inventory, representing their current health.
- The Hazmat Suit texture was changed to a clown suit. In addition to this, it added the Minecraft Armor icon above your Hearts. Oddly enough, when turning into Hazzy, the infect animation would still use the original texture.
- Upon dying, the player would be given a Minecraft death screen. Upon clicking "Respawn", the player would simply respawn as normal.
- When a player took damage, their character would turn red and the Old Minecraft Hurt Sound would play.
- All of the Emojis were changed to display the Troll Face instead.

Trivia
- When the update was first released, transparent parts were replaced with an iron block texture, making them opaque. This was fixed in a later update.
- Since doors opened instantly, some players would get stuck in them until they closed again.
- Sprinklekit's trail and Sledgehammer's blast would sometimes change to instead have the same texture as the floor.
- Additionally, Sledgehammer's blast was also changed from a circle to a cube.
- Slime Dragon's and Slime Pup's "Sleep" ability played the sound of a man snoring every so often. Accompanied by this, the headsize of the Gootraxians would size up, occasionally causing them to move.

- Gootraxians wear a homeless person's outfit. This causes them to lose their paws and fur details.
- Similarly, when wearing a Hazmat Suit or a Lab Coat, it becomes the same homeless person's outfit. However, when it is on the map or when a player turns into Hazzy, the suit still uses the original hazmat suit texture.
- This has been changed recently as now the Hazmat Suit appears as Leather Armour and Lab Coats appear as Steve outfits.
- Similarly, when wearing a Hazmat Suit or a Lab Coat, it becomes the same homeless person's outfit. However, when it is on the map or when a player turns into Hazzy, the suit still uses the original hazmat suit texture.

- The Nightcrawler's sounds were changed to say The Bluetooth device is ready to pair on hits and The Bluetooth device is connected successfully when infecting a human.
- Their pursue also has their sounds changed to Why are you running?.
- When a transmogrifying accessory is worn, it will appear extremely oversized, causing the player's head and avatar to be obscured heavily.
- This only happens if the player does not have a Gootraxian costume equipped for that specific Gootrax.
- Hazzy, Mocha and Wisp's faces were modified into their respective V3.2 Part 2 versions.
- Sprinklekit's puddles and Sledgehammer's blast are now square.
