Weapon Skins

This page contains every single weapon skin currently in Kaiju Paradise. Specific crafting recipes or methods of obtainment be found within the obtainment column to the right of the picture of said specific skin. However, a majority of the listed skins can be crafted, and follow the following formula for upgrading rarity:

Additionally, it is possible to re-roll a skin by crafting two items of the same rarity together.

All crafting-exclusive, unobtainable, event-limited and badge skins can only be attained through their corresponding obtainment methods.

NOTE: When upgrading the rarity of or re-rolling skins, the output skin will be completely random. Some skins can not be obtained by crafting. Skins that cannot be obtained by any crafting method will be marked with "uncraftable" in the following skin lists.

  • Currently in-game, there are only seven Scythe skins and seventy five Bat skins. however, in the menus, the total amount of said skins is displayed as eight and seventy six respectively. This is due to Blaxor adding the data for skins, but not fully implementing it.
    • One of these said skins is stated to be a shotgun, which may or may not be added.
  • When crafting a Archangel the text that says Archangel will appear in a light yellow instead of the usual red exotics have.
  • Despite being skins from the Diamond crate, the Excelsus and the Violence sell for 7,500 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination each.
  • As of now, there are currently 8 rarities in-game those being the following: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Ultra Rare, Legendary, Exotic, Exclusive and Unobtainable.
  • Oddly enough, when using the Goldify skin for the Knife, when thrown, the knife will appear to go up and in the direction the player is facing instead of going directly at its target. However, the effect is purely visual.
  • The Sharpstone Gargoyle Knife, when thrown at a food item laying on its spawn, will make both the thrown knife and food item completely disappear, as if it ate the food.
  • Some skin's models, such as the Molten Sword, Scorch, and Wrench are derived from the UGC catalogue. Others are either from Roblox's catalogue or in special cases, such as the Headtaker and Batsaber, come from Team Fortress 2.
    • The Excelsus and Violence are from Terraria's Calamity Mod.
    • The Copper Shortsword is from the Terraria base game.
  • The "Foxxo Bat" is the first skin to be ever removed in the game completely.
  • The "Stick" is the only skin that can be obtained exclusively by Upgrading Rarity or Re-Crafting. There are no alternatives to obtaining the skin.
  • The "Stop Sign" received a rarity upgrade, having used to be an Ultra Rare before being changed to a Legendary.

  • Generally, crafting-exclusive skins are the rarest types of obtainable skins due to their inability of being collected by practical means such as opening crates. The individual skins needed to collect in order to obtain these skins add to the difficulty due to the recipe requiring those specific skins.
  • All scythe models, when held, are attached to the torso of the character instead of being attached to the arms of the character like other weapons. Visually, both of the character's arms would hold, block, and swing the scythe.
    • This was possibly due to the weapon being naturally two-handed, unlike all other weapons.

  • All weapons during the V3.1 Halloween Update, regardless of skin, will turn the targets body into a ghost upon death.
    • This is the Archangel's death effect.
    • For a brief period of time after the event ended, all weapons would still keep this death effect. This has since been fixed.
  • The Archangel's death effect's ghost used to be solid. This meant that players could climb and stand on top of the body to temporarily ascend. That is, of course, if the body does not despawn. It could have been used impractically to get on top of higher objects with ease.
    • This has been fixed as of late. Most likely due to the gameplay disruption of a floating, solid object. Players will phase through the kill effect instead of standing on them.
  • The Chthonian's death effect will burn the gootraxian's transmogrifying accessory. While the effect plays, the color of the accessory will darken and then fade away. Burnt accessories cannot be worn by another player.
    • Other death effects that burn the target to a crisp do not share this property, however, the accessory will darken.
  • Despite being released on the same update, the Archangel was given a death effect before the Chthonian.
  • The Twisty Tuner, Face Melter, Face Cooler and Chocolate Reign are the only skins to be held in the left hand whilst running.
    • The aforementioned skins are also the only skins that do not play the usual animation of taking out a Bat upon being equipped.
  • The levitating idle animations of Archangel and Chthonian allow the player to hover above gootraxian puddles without taking damage. In addition, players can hover above gootraxian spike crystals and Toxic Rabbit shadows without triggering them.
  • Mathematically, the Face Cooler is rarer to obtain than the Face Melter.
    • However, the Face Melter potentially takes a longer time to obtain compared to the Face Cooler if all methods of obtainabiliy are considered.
  • The Curse of Eclipse is the third Exotic Skin to be implemented into the game. It is also currently the only Exotic Skin that is not a guitar.
    • This skin was shortly added after the Archangel and the Chthonian, which were added at the same time, being the first and second Exotic Skins to be put in-game.
    • Oddly enough you can sell the Curse of Eclipse even though it has a sell value of 0, by putting any skin into the selling table you can then add the Curse of Eclipse to the selling table. You will not get any additional credits/value when selling the Curse of Eclipse with any skins that can be sold, ie; if you sold a legendary with the Curse of Eclipse you’d only get the 7500 credits. Attempting to sell Curse of Eclipse alone will make an error sound that indicates you cannot sell the skin similarly to trying to sell an Exclusive skin.

  • The Participation Points skin is the first skin to:
    • Use an icon that looks nothing like the actual skin.
    • Add new animations to hit targets.
    • Have the image used in their icon go over the icon border.
    • Be an image rather than a 3D model.
    • Contain text.
    • Sell for negative credits.
  • The sound effects used by the Participation Points skin are the Gootraxians' Grab and Attack swinging sounds, and a sound effect of a metal pipe hitting the floor for its hit sound.
  • The Copper Shortsword was originally a Legendary Tier skin until Part 2 of the Halloween Event.
    • It received a rank downgrade to a Rare due to the mass crafting and selling of this skin breaking the economy.
  • Exclusive Tier skins are the only skins that are unable to be sold. They will not have a value pop up when the selling table is active.
    • Attempting to move an Exclusive skin into the selling table will result in the skin not moving and an error sound effect playing, indicating the inability to sell the skin.
  • The Crimson Cutter, while awaiting a replacement, was removed and replaced with the "Peculiar Wooden Rod That is Awaiting a Replacement." The skin features a simple stick that plays a fart sound upon hitting a target.
