Weapons are the main form of defense in Kaiju Paradise as a survivor. Each weapon has differing stats from one another, with some even bearing unique abilities.  All of the weapons in game have a universal cooldown system, even after switching or unequipping the item. This cooldown can be seen by the blue bar at the bottom of the screen. Most of them also have a durability represented by the green bar, which, when depleted, will break that item and render it unusable. Most weapons also cancel out a Gootraxian's Grab ability should they be grappling someone.
<!-- Order by rarity first!:
Badge Item, Unobtainable, Exotic, Legendaries, Ultra Rare, Rare, Uncommon, Common.

__TOC__
Then order within each table:
General Statistics
Special method of obtaiment, Craftable only by recipe, Diamond Crate, Unusual Gift, Purification Crate, Event Limited, Bandit Bargain Bin, Glaggle Case, Caliber Crate, Standard Crate, Colored Crate, Basic Crate.
The majority of weapons can knock Gootraxians back with a varying amount of force and are able to Stun or Ragdoll them upon landing a hit, which will provoke the Omen Bar, a blue bar above a Gootraxian's health. When filled, it prevents the Gootraxian from being stunned or ragdolled during its duration. The length of the omen and stun varies depending on the weapon used. Additionally, during the duration of the stun or ragdoll, damage dealt to the debilitated Gootraxian is reduced by 25%. Due to the omen bars being applied during the duration of a stun or ragdoll, the effective time before a stun may be inflicted once again can be calculated by simply subtracting the duration of the omen with the duration of the stun. This effective time will be displayed within the parenthesis under the Omen statistic.
"Event Limited" Order: Blue Gift, Green Gift, Red Gift, Halloween Crate, Party Crate, Wooden Chest.
If a skin appears in multiple crates, add its first instance in the crate order. -->

Weapons vary widely in length, in which longer weapons, such as the Long Pipe have a higher Raw Reach than others, which is defined as the furthest point a player can hit a Gootraxian when they are both parallel to each other. This however differs to Range which is the maximum Distance, as displayed on the debug readout, that a player's torso can be from their target's torso. If a player successfully lands a hit, but the distance between their target and them is above the maximum distance, the hit will not register as a valid hit. Distance can also be converted into studs by simply multiplying the distance by 2, which will be displayed in parenthesis under the Range statistic.
<!-- Do NOT add information about skins that are not in main. -->

Additionally, all weapons have a Max Hit statistic, which indicates the maximum amount of players that can be hit by a weapon in a single swing.
This page contains every weapon skin currently in Kaiju Paradise. A complete list of skins, along with their obtainment method(s), is shown below.
Some skins can only be crafted using their respective recipe, if marked with Can't be obtain via random crafting this means that they will not be obtainable via a rarity upgrade or reroll.

A majority of weapons are also able to equip skins, which can be unboxed within Bandit's Shop. These do not provide any statistical advantage.
<span style="color:#75FE00;">Badge Items</span>, <span style="color:#A000FE;">Unobtainable</span> and <span style="color:#FF003A;">Exotic</span> skins cannot be obtained by upgrading or rerolling.

Acquirement
Upgrading rarity requires a number of same-rarity skins to craft a random higher-rarity skin. The rarity upgrading formula is shown in the table below.
Some weapons can be bought within Bandit's Shop while others can only spawn around the map. Golden Weapons can only be obtained per 30 kill streak. <!-- I have no idea if the following still applies so im hiding it If the player landed the killing hit on a golden variant with certain weapons, it will automatically turn that specific weapon into a golden variant, displaying the message: <span style="color:#f9dc6e">"Your [weapon] has turned into something else.."</span> -->

Golden weapons are essentially buffed variants of their normal counterparts, typically sporting higher damage or more durability. They have an unique hit noise, give off a slight glow, leave a golden, sparkling trail and will "goldify" any Gootraxian killed with it's usage. It cannot be re-obtained by any other means if you die, leave the game or get infected besides kill streaks or illegitimate ways. Golden weapons do not have any skins.

Obtainable Weapons
All weapons listed are obtainable publicly and available to everyone. They usually cannot be obtained by Gootraxians due to their slippery paws, unless through illegitimate ways.

The Joeda, not to be confused with the Joema, is an gargantuan claw hammer stated to be "forged by a GENIUS". Being a large hammer, it has an equally large sized blast radius, fully enveloping the user in the blast. With an even faster cooldown than the knife and higher damage than the Joema, the Joeda is the perfect weapon for obliterating and dispersing crowds, capable of nearly two-shotting most if not any player while sending them on their merry way to the other side of crystal cave.

The Joeda's durability bar is hidden due to having infinite durability.

The Arctic Warfare Magnum (AWM) is a bolt action sniper rifle chambered in .338 Lapua. Designed for long range engagements, the AWM is capable of dispatching targets with a single well-placed headshot, dealing 240 damage. It has been noted that the model used for this gun can be found in Phantom Forces, hence it is a developer only weapon, only allowed to be placed or cloned in the Backpack of a player. Such requires the developer console and access to it.

The AK-47, officially known as the Avtomat Kalashnikova, is an assault rifle that is chambered for the 7.62x39mm cartridge. Developed in the Soviet Union by Russian small-arms designer Mikhail Kalashnikov, it has seen ubiquitous use world-wide, owing to its low cost and legendary reliability. Shooting a player in the head with the AK-47 while they have 13 health or lower will instantly destroy it.

The BFG-50, the first rifle designed by Serbu Firearms, is a single-shot bolt action carbine that is chambered for the .50 BMG caliber cartridge. Developed and manufactured in the US by Serbu Firearms, the BFG-50 while not exactly the most practical of firearms, is a very entertaining one. Shooting a player with the BFG-50 will deal 140 health, making it capable of one-shotting most if not any player. The M4A1, a fully automatic variant of the standard M4 carbine, is a gas-operated magazine-fed carbine rifle chambered for the 5.56×45mm cartridge. It was developed in the United States during the 1980s as a specialized variant of the M16, but has since seen widespread adoption due to its ergonomic design. However, design aside, it is entirely unremarkable mechanically in-game. Its model, along with the AWM, comes from Phantom Forces, being (most likely) the Pre-4.9.0 model.

* The Chthonian used to have a Face Melter instead of a Scorch in it's crafting recipe.
* Despite being skins from the Diamond Crate, Face Cooler, Excelsus and Violence sell for <font color="#03F8FC">7,500</font> each.
* As of now, there are currently 8 rarities in-game: <font color="#994700">Common</font>, <font color="#BFBFBF">Uncommon</font>, <font color="#F2DE00">Rare</font>, <font color="#00EEF2">Ultra Rare</font>, <font color="#F20081">Legendary</font>, <font color="#FF0040">Exotic</font>, <font color="#9DFF00">Exclusive</font> and <font color="#8400FF">Unobtainable</font>.
* When throwing the some knives, the airborne model will become invisible until it hits a target or surface.
** If the skin is thrown at a food item laying on its spawn, the thrown knife and food item completely disappear.
* Some skin's models, such as the Molten Sword, Scorch are derived from the UGC catalogue. Others are either from Roblox's catalogue.
** The Excelsus and Violence are from Terraria's Calamity Mod.
** The Copper Shortsword is from the Terraria base game.
* The "Foxxo Bat" is the first skin to be ever removed in the game completely.
* The Stick and ABCDEF is the only skin that can be obtained exclusively by Upgrading Rarity or Re-Crafting. There are no alternatives to obtaining the skin.
* The Stop Sign received a rarity upgrade, having used to be an Ultra Rare before being changed to a Legendary.
* The Jonin Katana skin was previously named "Ronin."
** For a little while after its name change, upon unboxing, the chat message that appeared would still refer to the weapon as Ronin instead of Jonin.
* The base color for the RGB Batsaber is white. However, the color is not shown when the skin cycles through its colors.
* Although the RGB Batsaber shares similar traits as the other batsabers, it does not outline targets that are hit, nor does it have a death effect.
* The Rainbow Bat used to have a glass-shattering hit sound. As of late, it has been removed.
* Generally, crafting-exclusive skins are the rarest types of obtainable skins due to their inability of being collected by practical means such as opening crates. The individual skins needed to collect in order to obtain these skins add to the difficulty due to the recipe requiring those specific skins.
** Otherwise, skins that are exclusive to Diamond Crates are the rarest obtianable skins.
* Contrary to popular belief, the Molten Sword is craftable by random via 2 <font color="#00EEF2">Ultra Rares</font> or 5 <font color="#F2DE00">Rares</font>.
** Similarly, the Pickaxe can be crafted randomly via 2 <font color="#BFBFBF">Uncommons</font> or 3 <font color="#994700">Commons</font>.
* Unlike other weapons, all models of the Long Pipe, when held, are attached to the torso of the character instead of the arms of the character. Visually, both of the character's arms would hold, block, and swing the Long Pipe.
** This was possibly due to the weapon being naturally two-handed, unlike other weapons.
* Some skins will play music upon equipping or idling with the skin equipped:
** The Stop Sign is a reference to Madness Combat series and plays “The Pied Piper”.
*** Used to play “Expurgation (Instrumental)” and was the only skin currently in-game that changes the entire weapon's hitbox.
*** As of late, the music is exponentially quieter than before. It is unknown if this is intentional or an audio bug.
*** Before Roblox’s March 2022 Updates, it used to play “Madness (Instrumental)” from the same mod.
** The Face Cooler plays “FREEDOM DiVE” [METAL†DIMENSIONS].
** The Face Melter plays Andromida - “Sacrifice”.
*** Before V3.1, the Face Melter's theme was “Cultist Base” from the Doom Eternal Soundtrack.
** The Chocolate Reign plays “"Chocolate Rain" metal cover by Ryashon (HEAVY REMIX).
*** Used to play “Track 01 - THUNDER FORCE IV”『Lightning Strikes Again - Metal Squad』.
** The Archangel plays "Pareidolia" (Instrumental) - Shangri-La.
** The Chthonian plays "Coming Home" (Instrumental) - Moon.
** The Thunderforce IV plays “Track 01 - THUNDER FORCE IV”『Lightning Strikes Again - Metal Squad』.
** The Twisty Tuner plays The Dueling Banjo from Team Fortress 2.
** The Excelsus plays  "UNIVERSAL COLLAPSE" - Theme of Devourer of Gods (Final Form).
** The Violence plays  "Stained, Brutal Calamity" - Theme of Supreme Calamitas (Epiphany).
** The Spoonful plays the voice clip of King Bach's friend exclaiming "Only a spoonful!"
* All weapons during the V3.1 Halloween Update, regardless of skin, will turn the targets body into a ghost upon death.
** This is the Archangel's death effect.
** For a brief period of time after the event ended, all weapons would still keep this death effect. This has since been fixed.
* The Archangel death effect's ghost model used to be solid. This meant that players could climb and stand on top of the model to temporarily ascend. That is, of course, if the body does not despawn. It could have been used impractically to get on top of higher objects with ease.
** This has been fixed, as players will currently phase through the kill effect instead of standing on it.
* The Chthonian's death effect will burn the gootraxian's transmogrifying accessory. While the effect plays, the color of the accessory will darken and then fade away. Burnt accessories will quickly despawn and are unable to be equipped by other players.
** Other death effects that burn the target to a crisp (such as Scorch) do not share this property, however, the accessory will be discolored.
* Despite being released on the same update, the Archangel was given a death effect before the Chthonian.
* All skins used to be only right handed.
** This has been changed to have skins left handed.
* Some skins lack an equip animation.
* The levitating idle animations of Archangel and Chthonian and Thunderforce IV allow the player to hover above Gootraxian puddles without taking damage.
* Mathematically, the Face Cooler is rarer to obtain than the Face Melter.
** However, the Face Melter potentially takes a longer time to obtain compared to the Face Cooler if all methods of obtainability are considered.
* The Curse of Eclipse is the third <font color="#FF0040">Exotic</font> Skin to be implemented into the game. It is also currently the only Exotic Skin that is not a guitar.
** Also unlike the guitars, it is unobtainable for normal players currently.
** This skin was added shortly after the Archangel and the Chthonian, which were added at the same time, being the first and second Exotic Skins to be put in-game.
** Oddly enough, you can sell the Curse of Eclipse even though it has a sell value of 0.
*** You can do so by putting any skin into the selling table first then adding Curse of Eclipse to the selling table. You will not get any additional credits/value when selling the Curse of Eclipse with any skins that can be sold ie; if you sold a <font color="#F20081">legendary</font> with the Curse of Eclipse, you’d only get the 7500 credits.
*** Attempting to sell Curse of Eclipse alone will make an error sound that indicates you cannot sell the skin, similarly to trying to sell an Exclusive skin.
* The Participation Points skin does not have an option to be sold directly, but can be selected and sold if the selling menu is brought up via another sellable skin.
* The Copper Shortsword was originally a <font color="#F20081">Legendary</font> Tier skin until Part 2 of the Halloween Event.
** It received a rank downgrade to a <font color="#F2DE00">Rare</font> due to the mass crafting and selling of this skin breaking the economy.
* <font color="#9DFF00">Exclusive</font> Tier skins are the only skins that are unable to be sold. They will not have a value pop up when the selling table is active.
** Attempting to move an Exclusive skin into the selling table will result in the skin not moving and an error sound effect playing, indicating the inability to sell the skin.
* The Crimson Cutter, while awaiting a replacement, was removed and replaced with the "Peculiar Wooden Rod That is Awaiting a Replacement." The skin features a simple wooden stick that used to play a fart sound upon hitting a target.
** Despite the skin icon looking similar to the Stick, the actual model's shape is a long, skinny cylinder.
** The skin's "blade" hitbox is invisible, but it is still there.
*The Batsaber skins descriptions are a nod towards Team Fortress 2's Mann VS Machine mode, more accurately based on a community joke of kicking scouts for missing 1 money pile.

*Bricks, Nunchucks, Taser and the Crystalized Bats (Kaiju Bashers, Carneline Strikers, Panther Bombarders) are the only public weapons that do not have golden variants.
*It has been confirmed by a developer that the only reason Nunchucks are not in public servers is that the item model has an extreme amount of detail in it, which the developers fear could lag people's game, should enough people have the weapon out.
**This has since been changed as Nunchucks have been added to public servers, the reason for their inclusion is currently unknown.

Badge Items, Unobtainable and Exotic skins cannot be obtained by upgrading or rerolling.

Upgrading rarity requires a number of same-rarity skins to craft a random higher-rarity skin. The rarity upgrading formula is shown in the table below.

Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination
An example of three commons being used to create an uncommon
Input Output
3 Commons 1 Uncommon
4 Uncommons 1 Rare
5 Rares 1 Ultra Rare
6 Ultra Rares 1 Legendary

Re-rolling simply requires two skins of the same rarity to craft a random skin of the same rarity.

All crafting-exclusive, unobtainable, event-limited, and badge skins can only be obtained through their corresponding methods.

Weapon Number of skins
Bat 98
Knife 51
Long Pipe 30

Weapons with skins!

Trivia

  • Some skins found in Kaiju Paradise were community made:
  • The Chthonian used to have a Face Melter instead of a Scorch in it's crafting recipe.
  • Despite being skins from the Diamond Crate, Face Cooler, Excelsus and Violence sell for 7,500 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination each.
  • As of now, there are currently 8 rarities in-game: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Ultra Rare, Legendary, Exotic, Exclusive and Unobtainable.
  • When throwing the some knives, the airborne model will become invisible until it hits a target or surface.
    • If the skin is thrown at a food item laying on its spawn, the thrown knife and food item completely disappear.
  • Some skin's models, such as the Molten Sword, Scorch are derived from the UGC catalogue. Others are either from Roblox's catalogue.
    • The Excelsus and Violence are from Terraria's Calamity Mod.
    • The Copper Shortsword is from the Terraria base game.
  • The "Foxxo Bat" is the first skin to be ever removed in the game completely.
  • The Stick and ABCDEF is the only skin that can be obtained exclusively by Upgrading Rarity or Re-Crafting. There are no alternatives to obtaining the skin.
  • The Stop Sign received a rarity upgrade, having used to be an Ultra Rare before being changed to a Legendary.
  • The Jonin Katana skin was previously named "Ronin."
    • For a little while after its name change, upon unboxing, the chat message that appeared would still refer to the weapon as Ronin instead of Jonin.
  • The base color for the RGB Batsaber is white. However, the color is not shown when the skin cycles through its colors.
  • Although the RGB Batsaber shares similar traits as the other batsabers, it does not outline targets that are hit, nor does it have a death effect.
  • The Rainbow Bat used to have a glass-shattering hit sound. As of late, it has been removed.
  • Generally, crafting-exclusive skins are the rarest types of obtainable skins due to their inability of being collected by practical means such as opening crates. The individual skins needed to collect in order to obtain these skins add to the difficulty due to the recipe requiring those specific skins.
    • Otherwise, skins that are exclusive to Diamond Crates are the rarest obtianable skins.
  • Contrary to popular belief, the Molten Sword is craftable by random via 2 Ultra Rares or 5 Rares.
    • Similarly, the Pickaxe can be crafted randomly via 2 Uncommons or 3 Commons.
  • Unlike other weapons, all models of the Long Pipe, when held, are attached to the torso of the character instead of the arms of the character. Visually, both of the character's arms would hold, block, and swing the Long Pipe.
    • This was possibly due to the weapon being naturally two-handed, unlike other weapons.
  • Some skins will play music upon equipping or idling with the skin equipped:
  • All weapons during the V3.1 Halloween Update, regardless of skin, will turn the targets body into a ghost upon death.
    • This is the Archangel's death effect.
    • For a brief period of time after the event ended, all weapons would still keep this death effect. This has since been fixed.
  • The Archangel death effect's ghost model used to be solid. This meant that players could climb and stand on top of the model to temporarily ascend. That is, of course, if the body does not despawn. It could have been used impractically to get on top of higher objects with ease.
    • This has been fixed, as players will currently phase through the kill effect instead of standing on it.
  • The Chthonian's death effect will burn the gootraxian's transmogrifying accessory. While the effect plays, the color of the accessory will darken and then fade away. Burnt accessories will quickly despawn and are unable to be equipped by other players.
    • Other death effects that burn the target to a crisp (such as Scorch) do not share this property, however, the accessory will be discolored.
  • Despite being released on the same update, the Archangel was given a death effect before the Chthonian.
  • All skins used to be only right handed.
    • This has been changed to have skins left handed.
  • Some skins lack an equip animation.
  • The levitating idle animations of Archangel and Chthonian and Thunderforce IV allow the player to hover above Gootraxian puddles without taking damage.
  • Mathematically, the Face Cooler is rarer to obtain than the Face Melter.
    • However, the Face Melter potentially takes a longer time to obtain compared to the Face Cooler if all methods of obtainability are considered.
  • The Curse of Eclipse is the third Exotic Skin to be implemented into the game. It is also currently the only Exotic Skin that is not a guitar.
    • Also unlike the guitars, it is unobtainable for normal players currently.
    • This skin was added shortly after the Archangel and the Chthonian, which were added at the same time, being the first and second Exotic Skins to be put in-game.
    • Oddly enough, you can sell the Curse of Eclipse even though it has a sell value of 0.
      • You can do so by putting any skin into the selling table first then adding Curse of Eclipse to the selling table. You will not get any additional credits/value when selling the Curse of Eclipse with any skins that can be sold ie; if you sold a legendary with the Curse of Eclipse, you’d only get the 7500 credits.
      • Attempting to sell Curse of Eclipse alone will make an error sound that indicates you cannot sell the skin, similarly to trying to sell an Exclusive skin.
  • The Participation Points skin does not have an option to be sold directly, but can be selected and sold if the selling menu is brought up via another sellable skin.
  • The Copper Shortsword was originally a Legendary Tier skin until Part 2 of the Halloween Event.
    • It received a rank downgrade to a Rare due to the mass crafting and selling of this skin breaking the economy.
  • Exclusive Tier skins are the only skins that are unable to be sold. They will not have a value pop up when the selling table is active.
    • Attempting to move an Exclusive skin into the selling table will result in the skin not moving and an error sound effect playing, indicating the inability to sell the skin.
  • The Crimson Cutter, while awaiting a replacement, was removed and replaced with the "Peculiar Wooden Rod That is Awaiting a Replacement." The skin features a simple wooden stick that used to play a fart sound upon hitting a target.
    • Despite the skin icon looking similar to the Stick, the actual model's shape is a long, skinny cylinder.
    • The skin's "blade" hitbox is invisible, but it is still there.
  • The Batsaber skins descriptions are a nod towards Team Fortress 2's Mann VS Machine mode, more accurately based on a community joke of kicking scouts for missing 1 money pile.
