The Chainsaw is a weapon in Kaiju Paradise. It has the appearance of a typical woodcutting chainsaw, branded with the Laminax logo. Its variant, Golden Chainsaw, has its base and edge of the blades golden. Its inner blade is black in color.

Boasting the highest damage per second in the game, the Chainsaw is capable of tearing Gootraxians to shreds with ease. It deals 11 damage per hit every 0.15 seconds, which makes it capable of hitting 5 times in one second. Due to its immense power, the Chainsaw comes a variety of stipulations.
When equipping the Chainsaw, your character will have to start the weapon, preventing you from attacking for 1.5 seconds. Additionally, during this animation or attacking, you will be slowed. The Chainsaw also takes up three inventory spaces, permitting you to only have two different items in total if you currently possess it in your inventory. Upon purchasing the Chainsaw, the following text will be displayed: "You will not be allowed to enter the safezone again in 15 seconds." After 15 seconds elapse, you will be teleported out of the safezone and unable to re-enter until the Chainsaw is discarded or broken.
Every five minutes, you will be revealed to the Gootraxian team for 10 seconds. You will receive the notification "Your location has been revealed..", while Gootraxians will receive "Someone here has a chainsaw.. They might be worth some more credits.." Furthermore, the Chainsaw will be shown on your back while unequipped. Upon being infected or dying, you will reward 350 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination.

As of V3.2, the Chainsaw currently has no skins.
Obtainment
The Chainsaw can only be bought from the Shop for 35 Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination, however there can only be 1 Chainsaw currently in use, as attempting to buy one while in this case will result in Abble stating "not for sale now.." However, if one is available, you will be prompted with a secondary menu to confirm the purchase, as Abble will warn "you sure?? you can no be in here with THAT!!"
