The Bat is the player's primary weapon in Kaiju Paradise. It has the appearance of a typical wooden baseball bat. Its variant, Golden Bat, is a bat made of solid gold with black accents, as well as glowing yellow spikes and barbed wire wrapped around its upper half.
Properties
A versatile and reliable weapon due to its ease of access, the Bat, while not as powerful as it's contemporaries, offers a solid baseline. Its wide swings offer a relative ease in hitting Gootraxians, and its decent cooldown allows it to serve well enough in most cases.
Upon breaking, text at the bottom of the screen will say: "The bat cracked and snapped in half."
The Golden Bat, unlike the regular Bat, has the ability to knockback Gootraxians along with an substantial increase in damage, as well as having third highest durability in the game, only bested by the Chainsaw and its golden counterpart. However, this comes at the cost of a longer cooldown. Reliable and effective, the Golden Bat in some ways is more akin to the Machete or Sledgehammer in terms of use, perhaps requiring a little more caution than usual.
Upon breaking, text at the bottom of the screen will say: "The golden bat snapped in half."

As of V3.3, the Bat currently has 98 skins.
Obtainment
The Bat can easily be purchased from Bandit's Shop for free or found and picked up from certain locations around the map. These spawns are fixed and supply an infinite amounts of bats.
The Golden Bat can be randomly obtained per 30 kill streak.
Pros & Cons
+ Pros:
- Has plenty of spawns around the map
- Good stun time
- Cons:
- Long omen duration
- Low Damage
- Low Knockback
- Low Raw Reach
- Long Cooldown
Trivia
- Killing a Golden Slime variant or its grave used to guarantee a Golden Bat drop upon death. This has since been changed to be a random assortment of 2 weapons between it and all other Golden Weapons, with the exclusion of the Golden Chainsaw.
- Now, with the removal of Slime Pup and Slime Hound, the only way to obtain the Golden Bat is per 30 kill streak.
- Before the Chainsaw was added, the Golden Bat had the highest durability out of all weapons in-game.
- In private servers, there was an exact copy of the Bat called "TestBat" which unlike the original one, doesn't have an icon, has a very short cooldown, and does not retain skins.
- Based on the reworked Golden Bat's cooldown, it's likely the TestBat was an unfinished version of the golden bat's rework.
