Protogen

Template:Gootraxian Protogens are normally depicted in media as cyborgs, but in TFE and Kaiju Paradise they appear as a Gootraxian.

They are white-furred half-robotic anthropomorphic creatures that wear a black, grey and blue visor on their heads, that of which has the Laminax logo on the sides.

They emit a startup noise upon transformation, Windows error popup noises upon being hit and Windows shutdown noises once killed.

Abilities

If their health is below 50%, they gain a Self Destruct function. Upon activation, they emit a beeping sound until they eventually explode, dealing 60 HP<ref>https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/510886407770734645/992373726366662716/unknown.png</ref> damage to all survivor players in the near vicinity. If a survivor's HP is low enough, the explosion will turn them into Ghost Fox.

While self destruct is happening, their health will be set to a specific health and gain more resistance to damages. The health will drain if they are in water every 1.5 seconds<ref>https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/510886407770734645/992374166235910205/unknown.png</ref> due to electrocution.

Acquirement

Protogens can be obtained by losing all of your health to a Protogen puddle, or being infected by another Protogen.

Trivia

• The Protogen, Dark Protogen and Sprinklekit (and Conekat before it was removed) are the only Gootraxians that can be hurt by water.
• Protogens have received a slight redesign since their incarnation in The Underground Facility,<ref>Protogen Remodel https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/510886407770734645/992373726991626240/unknown.png</ref><ref>https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/510886407770734645/992373727226499092/unknown.png</ref> and they will receive a complete design revamp in a future update.
• The startup noise was made by Fishcracks<ref>https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/510886407770734645/992373726790295622/unknown.png</ref>.
• The normal and its counterpart have different startup noises. The former being more lighthearted while the latter is more sinister.
• Along with its counterpart, it has a very similar existing hat.
