Dark Protogen

Dark Protogens are the event counterpart of Protogens. Like its counterpart, they emit the same sounds when hit or killed, but their start up sounds are lower-pitched.

As its name states, it is mostly black. On its head, there is a visor with red "nanites" creating the illusion of facial expressions. Unlike the normal Protogen's nanites, these are individually modeled.

Abilities

Dark Protogens are capable of using the “Attack” and “Grab” ability any other Gootraxian can use.

Additionally, if their health is below 50% they gain a Self Destruct function, and when it is used they emit a beeping sound until they eventually explode, dealing 60 HP<ref>https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/862658748077965352</ref> and damage all Human players in the near vicinity and turn them into Ghost Fox if the humans are low HP enough.

While self destruct is happening, their health will be set to a certain HP and gain more resistance to damages. Their walk speed will also be set to 20<ref># https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/886890408217546792</ref> value.

The health will drain if they are in water every 1.5 seconds<ref># https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/891712600289730621</ref> due to electrocution.

Obtainability

You can become a Dark Protogen by losing all of your health to a Dark Protogen puddle during Power Outages or Blackouts, or being infected by another Dark Protogen.

• The Dark Protogen, Protogen and Conekat are the only Gootraxians that can be hurt by water.

• The normal and its counterpart have a different startup noises. One which is more lighthearted while the other one is more sinister respectively.
• Along with its counterpart, it has a very similar existing roblox hat.
