The V3.1 Anniversary Event (officially called the Party Bash Update) is a limited time event on Kaiju Paradise. It began on March 31st 2023 and ends on TBA.

The update featured a new limited-time Gootraxian, a new currency, a new crate, new skins, and a slightly edited map.

Gootraxians

This update features 1 new Gootraxian, the Partyena. It is a hyena-type Gootraxian that can be acquired by wearing a party hat dropped from Party Gifts throughout the event.

Currently, Partyena is not planned to be kept in the game after the event ends; however, this may change in the future. Regardless, it's probable that Partyena will be available via VIP server commands after the event has concluded, provided that the user has unlocked it in their bestiary.

Similar to previous events, gootraxians that spawn will have a chance to be automatically equipped with a party hat. When the character wearing the hat takes damage, confetti will explode out of them and a kazoo sound effect will play.

Currency

This update added the YOW!! currency, which is used to buy Party Crates. However, you can only see the number of YOW!! you have in your profile, under Party Count.

YOW!! may be found in randomly spawning gifts across the map, or by breaking a piñata which has a chance of replacing a gift (it takes around 27 seconds for them to disappear).

Party Gifts

Party Gifts can be found in random areas around the map; you only need to step on it to open it. Opening one can result in numerous outcomes, the most common being the anniversary currency, YOW!! .

Gifts drop anywhere between 2-5 YOW!! tickets with each ticket being worth 1-3 .

Instead of dropping YOW!!, Party Gifts may occasionally drop one of the items below:

• 8-10 Banana peels
• 1-4 Bloxy Colas
• Random weapons (Taser, Bat, Pipe, Knife)
• Transmogrifying Partyena Party hats
• Activated or placeable Landmines
• A miniature Kawaii Shork plush
• Strange Crystal Consumption (this only applies to slime Gootraxians)

Piñata

There is a chance that a Piñata will spawn in place of a Party Gift. Hitting a Piñata will cause it to grow in size; larger Piñatas indicate more damage dealt. After a Piñata has accumulated 400 damage, it will explode into a flurry of YOW!!s and drop a few Partyena party hats. If a Piñata is not destroyed within 8 minutes 20 seconds (500 seconds), it will despawn without dropping anything.

YOW!! tickets dropped from the Piñata are worth 3-6 each, The total amount of YOW!! tickets dropped from a Piñata scales based on the amount of players in a server. Piñatas destroyed in servers with 30+ players will drop around 400-500 total.

Crates & Skins

The only crate added is the Party Crate. It costs 1337 to purchase one.

5 new skins are included in the Party Crate, listed below:

Map

This Event added various changes to the Map, some being new and some returning from the 3.1 Hallows Eve Event.

Areas

Various rooms and areas have been changed or edited for this Event.

• The Bathroom Stalls and Elevators have been completely blocked off and filled with snow.
  • As of late, both locations are no longer obstructed by terrain and can once again be freely traversed.
    • These snow blockades were most likely removed due to Ghost Foxes being able to teleport through the barrier with the Lightning Lunge ability, making it virtually impossible for other players to reach them.
• The Garden's front entrance has been blocked, being replaced by the large window in the front being shattered.
• Almost every room in the map has terrain in it, on top of the regular part-based environment. This is carried over from the 3.1 Hallows Eve Event.
• The Crystal Caves have been filled with blue fog.
• The entire facility's lights have been turned blue instead of white, except for a few select areas.
  • This has caused the entire place to be dimmed, with glowsticks being used to light up specific areas.
• Several hazards (notably Slime Pup, Hound and Dragon hazards) and traffic cones around the map are changed to a light blue color to fit the atmosphere.

Trivia

• YOW!! tickets dropped by Piñatas were worth 6-9 each when the event was first added to KP.
• Skins available from the Party Crate can be sold for only 1,250 each. For comparison, other legendary skins can be sold for 7,500 each.
  • However, combining two skins from the Party Crate will grant the player a normal legendary skin with its normal sell value.
• All skins from the Party Crate have the same Swing and Hit sound effects.
