Hazmat Suit

The Hazmat Suit is a form of protective gear for the humans. It is found throughout the map at certain spawn locations.

Upon wearing a Hazmat Suit, the text "You feel safer with this thing on.." will pop up.

When the Hazmat Suit tears, it will prompt the text "Your hazmat suit has been torn apart.."

Trying to wear something else, like a Lab Coat with a Hazmat Suit on will prompt the text "It's too tight, you can't take it off.."

Appearance

The Hazmat Suit looks like the typical protective suit, with a yellowish colouration, coloured bands, and gloves. Wearing one will override any clothing you are wearing, but not your accessories.

Locations

The Hazmat Suit can be found in the following locations:

• On a shelf near a vending machine in the back of the cave
• Refer to the 2nd image in Gallery
• In the Storage Unit, on a shelf located to the left of the entrance door
• In the Gas Room, on a shelf
• On top of a box at the entrance of the Secret Room

Effects

The damage you receive from infection hazards will be reduced; for example, it would take about 6 touches to be infected on a Slime Pup puddle as opposed to the normal 4 touches.

Instant-infection hazards (ex: Shork Fin, Toxic Rabbit puddles) will completely be negated once by the Hazmat Suit. However, your suit will be torn apart.

Hazmat Suits do not reduce the Attack damage from Gootraxians themselves, and if infected by one while wearing a Hazmat Suit, the suit starts shaking violently and tears, turning you into a Hazzy.
