Template:Gootraxian Jammers are grey wolf Gootraxians with light grey neck fur, inner ears, underbelly and hand and feet markings. They are more often than not seen wearing headphones. They are the Blackout variant of Fed.

They are similar in appearance to Shade and Fed, but have longer ears and blue circular markings instead of green stripes and emit a blue glow during Blackouts.

They have another variant called a VIP Jammer. These variants look exactly like normal Jammers, but they have a rainbow glow during Blackouts and rainbow music notes when it plays music.

Abilities

Increased Health (Passive)

Jammer has an increased health of 110 HP.

Headphone Drop (Death)

When killed, the headphones from the Jammer will drop to the ground, waiting to acquire a new host to transform.

Diversion

Jammer has a special ability named Diversion that allows it to play music. VIP variants will have a microphone and play slightly different music, this ability is purely cosmetic.

Acquirement

Jammers can be obtained by picking up the headphones that replace fedoras during Blackouts or by getting infected by another Jammer Gootraxian, though you won't get the headphones for the latter. It takes about 27 seconds to be infected after putting on the Jammer's headphones.

VIP Jammers have a 1/30 chance<ref>https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/510886407770734645/992723374402977872/unknown.png Chance in #faq, July 8 2021.</ref> of being turned into them while wearing headphones. Alternatively, you can use the command :tf me Jammer;VIP=true in private servers.

When wearing the headphones, the following text will pop up,

"Your ears feel comfy.."

Trivia

Normal Jammers that use the Diversion tool play "JAMS".
- VIP Jammers, however, play a remixed version of "JAMS" called "JAMS VIP".
  - Both music tracks are composed by Fishcracks.
While perfoming certain emotes, Jammers will play a muffled version of a pre-existing song for that emote:
- Doing the Smug emote plays "Transit" by Fishcracks.
- Doing the California emote plays an 8-bit remix of the song "California Gurls" by Fishcracks.

The rainbow effect on VIP Jammers is synced throughout its body and Diversion's notes.
- It's also synced with rainbow bat skins, rainbow Slime Pups, and its vari ants despite all of them being separate entities.
Similar to the Slime Pup's /e pupsitdown bug, in the beginning of the V3.1 Late Winter update, players were able to do /e vipjamming to play the animation that a VIP Jammer does when they use Diversion.
- This "bug" still works if you are a Jammer with headphones, no matter what type you are.
If the player constantly hovers on and off of Jammer's Bestiary icon, the icon will play the JAMS soundtrack for a short moment.
