"A strange looking bucket has suddenly been placed on top of you.."

Template:Gootraxian

Bucks are a blackout-exclusive Gootraxian and the blackout variant of Catte.

They resemble a cat with grey fur and a black underbelly. They have black stripes running along their arms and legs and sport purple horns and spines similar to Carnelines, which emit a faint glow in the dark. They have small purple markings under their eyes.

Abilities

Bucks have significantly more HP other Gootraxians, boasting 130 HP in total (110 HP without their buckets)<ref>Update log of HP nerf, originally had 150 HP https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/919210720388849704</ref>.

Unlike Catte, they cannot eject their buckets and do not drop them upon death. They also cannot grab in exchange for throwing, tossing its bucket and dealing 20 damage to whoever it may hit.

The latter only works if they have the headgear, otherwise, they cannot do it and have to obtain another black bucket.

Acquirement

Bucks can be obtained by finding and wearing a black bucket while already playing as a Catte Gootraxian.

It can also be obtained via infection from another Buck Gootraxian, however you will not be wearing a bucket and as a result will not have the additional 20 HP bonus that comes with it.

Trivia

  • Bucks are the first Gootraxian to have a unique or complicated way of obtainment.
    • Though, the health requirement is removed and it is a lot more simple.
  • Bucks are one of the only few Gootraxians who can outright kill human players.
    • In this case, they can do so by using their buckets. However, they will be unable to do so outside of Blackouts.
  • Prior to receiving a nerf, Bucks had the highest amount of health in the game for a non-Slime Gootraxian, at 150 HP.
  • Although normal Bucks lose their purple crystals upon a Blackout ending, if one were to be infected by a Buck outside of the event, they will keep the crystals.
    • This may or may not be intentional.
