Template:Gootraxian Plantix is a plant based Gootraxian covered in pink flowers with yellow pistils. They have mellow green colored fur with single thick, slightly darker stripes of fur on their wrists and ankles, accompanied by its soft light green eyes.

They have a very thick, dark green tail and neck fur, the former of which resembles a bush. The flowers on their tail and forehead are similar to the item needed to transform into one, the Strange Flowers.

Abilities

Poison Gas

Plantix can inflict a poisonous gas that slowly drains a Human's HP, although a hazmat suit reduse to one third the damage drain. The poison damage lasts for a duration of 5 seconds. If a Human is hit by a Plantix while the poison is active, the timer for the poison damage resets. However, if a Human is wearing a hazmat suit, they will experience three times the usual damage from the poison. Additionally, if the Human has recently hit the tree, the poison damage will be multiplied by 1.5X.

Acquirement

Plantix can be obtained by waiting for 35 seconds after smelling the Strange Flower that spawns in the Laminax Garden or by being infected by another Plantix Gootraxian. The dialogue after smelling the flower goes as follows:

• Out of your curioisity, you decided to smell it..
• What a beautiful scent..
• Your lungs feel odd..

Tips

Please note that most things listed in this section are not objective, and are not the "Correct" way to use them. This section is used to give advice to players who want to learn how to use their tools more efficiently.

• Due to the fact that it is impossible for Gootraxians to cut the tree down, it is recommended that you only rely on Plantix's poison if you have a human ally with a Chainsaw or Axe that can easily cut it down for you.
• Since a poison-buffed attack deals 64 damage most of the time, it's usually a good idea to avoid using grab for the duration of the buff.
  • Paired with a teammate who can grab opponents, it is extremely hard for humans to survive a grab + attack combo.

Bestiary Entry

Plant-like Gootraxians that tend to the garden in the Laminax facility, Plantix are quite friendly in nature and seem to enjoy cultivating the flora growing in the small plots there. The small, pink flowers that grow on their head are delicate, and appear to act as their vital force, keeping them alive. Be careful while smelling some of the flowers growing in the garden.

• During initial release, Plantix had re-textured Shark ears instead of the current ear meshes.
• According to Figs' creator, it is stated that it and Plantix have a sibling-like relationship and would not like them to be shipped together.<ref>https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/866515652319510528/918191061699031050/unknown.png Statement from Figs' creator.</ref>
• Despite their Bestiary photo showing a Plantix holding a Strange Flower, Plantix cannot interact with them in any way in-game.
