Figs

Template:Gootraxian Figs is a light blue colored fruit fly.<ref>https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/1119997150256963624/1119998335969919016/Fruit_fly.png Species confirmation according to developer Xotile, April 26 2023.</ref> They have green stripes and marks all over their body, as well as singular, large pink stripes on their wrists and ankles. They have four large, transparent wings on their backs as well as three dark purple horns and six thick, light blue hair puffs on their heads.

Their eyes match the color of the pink stripes on their arms, and their neck fur matches the color of their green body markings. Contrary to popular belief, it is not a moth.

Abilities

Increased Health (Passive)

Figs have more health than other Gootraxians, with 115 HP.

Acquirement

Figs can be obtained by hitting the tree in the Garden and waiting 20 seconds after eating the Strange Fruit that falls from it or by being infected by another Figs Gootraxian.

Eating a Strange Fruit gives you the following dialogue:

After a short time, this dialogue appears:

• My stomach hurts..

After another short time, the player will be transformed into Figh while this message appears:

• The pain..

Bestiary Entry

Appearing to be insects of indeterminate species, Figs are insectile Gootraxians that appear frequently in and around the Laminax facility garden. While lightweight enough to be capable of flight, they do not seem to do so very often and much prefer to traverse the facility on foot. They instead use their wings as a method of communication, using the produced vibrations to signal to other Figs what could be possible threats. It is not recommended that you eat the fruit that falls from the tree in the center of the garden.

Trivia

• Figs had a slight redesign on V3.0.<ref>https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/510886407770734645/992369789987201104/unknown.png Update log of Figs' redesign, July 20 2021.</ref>
• After its redesign, Figs are one of the only few Gootraxians that do not keep your hair accessory upon transforming into one.
  • The other Gootraxians that do not keep your hair accessory are the Slime Pups, Hounds, the Nightcrawler, and Glubby.
• Figs is also the only Gootraxian that has no tail.
• According to Figs' creator, it is stated that it and Plantix have a sibling-like relationship and would not like them to be shipped together.
