Kawaii Shork

Template:Removed Gootraxian Template:Gootraxian Kawaii Shorks were the Power Outage variation of the regular Shork.

There is little difference between it and regular Shorks other than color and facial expressions, and having white stripes along its head fins and tails.

Kawaii Shork was removed and replaced with Pseudo Shork in V3.1R.

Abilities

Unique Grab Animation

Kawaii Shorks, similar to Panthers, had a unique grab animation where they appeared to be choking the player they were currently holding.

Acquirement

Kawaii Shork could be obtained by colliding with one of the fins in the Flooded Area during a Power Outage or by being infected by another Kawaii Shork Gootraxian.

Bestiary Entry

This gootrax is a lanky pink and white stripped shark like creature that likes to hide in dimly lit areas. They prefer dim lighting rather absolute darkness, thus leading to the team to believe this Shork has adapted to the more poorly lit areas of their tank. Unlike regular Shorks, this branch of gootrax is very puppy like, interacting with subjects and looking at them like a curious animal more so. However don't be fooled by its cute exterior, it is but a facade. As soon as it can catch an opportunity to strike, it WILL take it.

Trivia

• For Bronze’s birthday on January 16th 2023, all Kawaii Shorks would wear purple scarves.
  • After their birthday, it has been changed to a 1/10 (10%) chance<ref>https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/858029724664463400/1066777156774023238/scarf.png Kawaii Shork scarf update, January 22, 2023.</ref> of wearing the scarf upon transformation, similar to the Watermelon Shork.
  • The command to force this variant is :tf me Kawaiishork;VIP=true in private servers.
• Kawaii Shork and Panther were the only Gootraxians with a unique “choking” grab animation. However, Kawaii Shork used to posses the normal grab animation.

Bugs

• Upon the addition of Kawaii Shork, Shork fins didn't initiate the infection sequence when touched, making it unobtainable. This carried over to normal Shorks after the Power Outage ended.
