Kaiju Paradise is home to a few different NPCs (Non Playable Characters). Each NPC has their own unique system that assists players in many different ways, such as getting Gootraxian Costumes and Weapon Skins, Credits , Tokens , and more.

As of V3.2., there are only two NPC's in the game.

Human NPCs

Sam is a placeholder character located in the Storage Bay. His main purpose is to give out Errands, of which will reward the player with a specific amount of credits and tokens upon completion.

Upon first meeting Sam, he will greet the player and explain the concept of errands. Upon doing so, he will then give the player their first errand. Unlike Abble, Sam does not have a lot of unique dialogue uncorrelated to his main purpose as an NPC.
The only unique messages that Sam sends are when a player attempts to speak to him while in combat. Upon this happening, Sam will respond: "Away!", "Bugger off!", "Come back later!" and "Stay away!"

Trivia

• Sam is an entirely placeholder character in dialogue, name, and model.
• The song that plays in Sam's menu is a cover of the Yakuza 0 Substories Track composed by Ronin.
• Currently, as of V3.2, the errands are currently not available, and Sam will instead say that he's busy/not available and come back later.

Gootraxian NPCs

Bandit is a racoon based Gootraxian shopkeeper located in the Spawn Room. His main purpose is to sell Crates, which is an RNG system that gives players Weapon Skins and Gootraxian Costumes.

He is very mischievous and impatient, as shown by the several lines of dialogue that he says at random:

"You just gonna stand there or what??"

"What's that..? How have we procured these curiosities? Heheheh.. You don't wanna know..."

"OOOH shiny!! How much ya want for it, huh?? Tokens? Credits? Whatever ya want!!!"

Currently, Bandit has no dialogue for when a player examines a skin, costume, or weapon in his shop.

Trivia

• At the time Bandit was first introduced in Experimental, a bug allowed him to be grabbed or pushed anywhere, resulting in him being able to glitch out of the shop and fly in the air, while still in his sitting animation.
  • This was then fixed.
• Unlike Abble, Laminax's previous shopkeeper, Bandit is available during every Event.
• Bandit is the first character in the game to utilize Bonemeshed Tails, a program that allows his tail to move fluidly.
• Bandit does not have a specified gender. However, he does go by he/him pronouns.

Removed NPC

This NPC has been removed from the game.

Reason: Due to Abble being a Slime Pup, she has been removed from the game. Abble has been replaced by Bandit in the V3.3 update.

Abble was a Slime Pup shopkeeper located in the Spawn Room. Her main purpose was to sell Crates, of which were an RNG system that gave players Weapon Skins and Gootraxian Costumes.

Abble was most notable for her general dialogue and commentary on skins.
Anytime a user joined the game, Abble would welcome the player with the message: "!!! welcome! hi hi hi!!”
Whenever a user exited her shop, she would give one of the following comments: "thx for check out me shop!!!!!", "thx!!! u always welcom back!!!" or "thx uuu pls come again!!"

Anytime a Power Outage occurred, Abble would comment on her sleepiness due to the lower light level: "me sleepy.. but u always welcom!!!", "ZZzZzz.. me sleepy.." and "it dark.. me going sleep...".
Consequently, anytime a Blackout occurred, Abble would quickly close down her shop, preventing players from accessing it until the event ended.

Trivia

Abble did not take kindly to belligerents

• Prior to V3.1R, in VIP servers, using the :hostile command and attacking Abble multiple times would result in Abble retaliating, as seen in the gif to the right.
  • Upon being hit, Abble would say one of the following lines: "hey! no attack ok?? ok!!", “ouch!!! no attack!! me is your friend!!!”, or “me is your friend not foe!!!, no attack!!”
  • Upon dying to Abble, the text prompt ”Shredded…” would appear.
  • It was possible to survive Abble's retaliation by taking cover behind something or leaving the Spawn Room.
    • If Abble was unable to kill the player after several seconds, she would stop attempting to retaliate and would return to her normal position.
  • The minigun Abble used had unique sounds and was much more powerful compared to the M134 minigun.
  • In V3.1R, this feature was removed, and Abble could no longer be attacked.
• Anytime a player was in her shop, the song "Abbles to Apples" by Fishcracks would play.
• Abble was the first and only Gootraxian to be given a specified gender, this being female.
• The hat that Abble wears in her "Buider" icon is the Builders Club Hard Hat.
  • Additionally, the icon mentioned was only used when a player unlocked a Bestiary entry or when a player died to an Error skin.
• Abble's "Kindey Failure" icon was only used in two circumstances: When a player unlocked a Bestiary entry that they already had unlocked, or when viewing Abble's dialogue for the Participation Points Skin.
  • The icon was created originally for the bat skin, but was later used for the Bestiary entry conundrum.
  • Abble's dialogue for the skin was simply "Kidney Failure", granting the icon its name.

Bosses NPCs

Frankenhazzy is a heavily mutated form of Hazzy, acting as a raid boss for players from both sides to team up and defeat to receive various rewards. Appearing much more feral and aggressive than their playable counterparts, Frankenhazzy has visible stitches all over their body, and has several noticeable patches of multicolored fur comprising their body. Their eyes appear to be gouged out, with bright white Xs taking their place, and their chest cavity is ripped open, revealing a burning fire inside their body.

Frankenhazzy spawns every 35-70 minutes inside a dedicated fighting arena in the far west side of the map, with an accompanying health bar being displayed at the top of every player's screen, showing the boss's remaining HP, total HP, and how much damage the player has dealt to the boss. By default, Frankenhazzy has 2000 HP, with an extra 250 HP being added per player in the server.

During the boss fight, Frankenhazzy is able to use several different abilities to ward off attackers, listed below:

• Two swipes forward with their claws, ragdolling anyone they hit.

• A quick dash forward, increasing their movement speed and ragdolling anyone they run into.

• A roar, stunning every player near it at the same time.

• Passively spawning red X marks on the floor that slowly get brighter and begin to glow before exploding.

• Slams the ground with their paws, sending a shockwave forward that launches players hit.

• Bites a nearby player.

When Frankenhazzy dies, players are rewarded with Credits and Candy based on how much damage they did to it, with a direct kill rewarding 1000 Credits, plus an extra 100 for every player in the server. The 3 players that deal the most damage to the boss will be rewarded with a Remnant Crate automatically, with a 5% chance for any other participating player to also receive one. All participating players will also recieve the PATRICIDE badge and unlock Frankenhazzy in their bestiary. On top of this, when Frankenhazzy is defeated, they will drop a flurry of Candies on the floor for anybody to pick up. There is also a 10% chance that a physical Remant crate to be dropped on the floor for anybody to pick up, requiring players to stay near the crate for a long period of time to collect it.

The Phantom Knights are Boss NPCs that randomly spawn around the map. Killing them drops a Phantom Greatsword, a powerful weapon that is able to be picked up by either team by standing close to it for long enough. Only one Phantom Greatsword can exist in a server at any given time, and it comes with 3 separate abilities that its wielder is able to use.

While alive and players are close to it, they often combo their attack in a succession to cause massive damage toward players.

Their attacks are as followed:

• Swing their sword at the nearest player.

• Kicking then slamming their sword on the ground, Ragdolling any players caught in it.

• Slamming its hand on the ground, Ragdolling any players caught in it.

• Pulling the nearest player toward it.

Phase 2: In this phase the Phantom Knight will have longer reach and higher damage output along side a new attack.

• Spinning their sword around them, Ragdolling any players caught in it.

• Multiple can be active at the same time.
• Can't be killed by death barrier.

Tomato The Turkey has a 10% to replace Franken Hazzy when spawning. They will not attack right away, the boss fight will only start once a player attack it, otherwise they'll talk.

• Passively spawn Expiative Orb that heal it and increase their maximum health, if killed reward a kill

• Phase 2 (Reaching 50% of their health):

Then the arena will be modified to have a central platform serounded by lava and 4 platform in circles rotating around the center of it. Tomato The Turkey will now be able to summon a Train that will ram into players flinging and ragdolling them at insane speed.

• Upon the death of Tomato the turket If the user dealt above 200 damage they will be rewarded with the badge The Kindling, Another Nightmare and the Turkey leg (Knife skin)

• If Tomato The Turkey touch the lava gets teleported back to the center of the arena.
• Mini Tuckey spawn does not have a maximum value, meaning they can spawn indefinitly.
