Template:Gootraxian Wisp is the Blackout variant of the common Shorks.
They have dark purple skin with lighter purple-colored muzzles and underbellies. Covering their bodies are blue, bio-luminescent horns, particularly along their arms, legs, and head. Their chests have a bright blue design resembling a skeleton, specifically a rib-cage and a spine.
Abilities
Increased Health (Passive)
Wisp has more health than other Gootraxians, at 120 HP.
Acquirement
Players can obtain Wisp by stepping on a glowing mini shark in the Flooded Area during a Blackout or via infection through another Wisp Gootraxian.

Trivia
- Wisp is the only shark-based Gootraxian to not have "shork" in the name.
- Wisp is the only Gootraxian to be the replacement of a Gootraxian who was also a replacement.
- Wisp is the replacement of Lantern Shork, who is the replacement of Tiger Shork.
- Wisp was originally named "Nisuyo" on its concept. There were two concepts, one with the blue design and another one with orange particles. However, this might just be a skin or just a cancelled design.
- A difference between this is the eyes, where they appear to be entirely blue.
- Lemon Shork and Wisp are currently the only shark Gootraxians in the game to have fins on their arms.
- Tiger Shork, Lantern Shork and Melon Shork (before its redesign) also had these extra fins when they were in the game.
- Oddly, it's one of the Gootraxians to lack a Bestiary description.
- Strangely, it is classified as a "Normal" environment-type Gootraxian in its Bestiary entry.
- Wisp's concept art is a recolor of a fake Gootraxian named Nisuyo.
- Nisuyo was originally created in order to catch a leaker, but was later repurposed into Wisp.
- According to the developers in Discord, Wisp will get a redesign in the future.
- However, despite this, Wisp's faces were modified in the April Fools 2024 update. The new faces, unlike the original ones, which showed a drooling grimace, made Wisp's mouth closed under normal conditions, along with the face glow becoming more intense when getting hit, when at low HP, or when grabbing. The drool was also removed, now shown when at low HP or grabbing.
