Unlike Kaiju Paradise, '''TUF''' had a different list of entities dubbed 'Latex Creatures'. Majority of these transfurs have been removed, but some were brought over from TUF to Kaiju Paradise. This list contains the 'unique' ones that were brought over to KP or were not based on existing transfurs from DragonSnow's game. Revision as of 11:23, 18 August 2023

The Underground Facility (often abbreviated to TUF) is the predecessor of Kaiju Paradise and The Final Experiment. It was based on a game made by DragonSnow who copyrighted the game for stolen assets and content, eventually leading to the game's temporary closure. It was opened again sometime after, but only for 72 hours before permanently closing due to a warhead nuke.

As of February 2022, it had 53.0k favorites and over 4.5M visits before its closure.

Gameplay

Like its successors, the game had the same playstyle; grabbing a weapon and fighting the infected.

The weapons remained relatively identical to the ones in their successors today other than hitboxes and rarity. There was a slight difference in selection of items that were in the game as compared to now. There were also a different variety of creatures that were in-game, most of which came from DragonSnow's game.

Instead of having Abble's Shop, the human's safe-zone had Ed's Weapons n' Things, a shop operated by Ed, a brown Sergal. To get tokens, you had to collect orange fruits that would spawn around the map and trade them in to the box near the shop. The items they sold slightly differed from the selection in Kaiju Paradise.

The map was also completely different to the one seen currently in Kaiju Paradise. One side was a part of the facility while the opposite was a gas room, which led to more facilities. There also used to be vents that only the infected could access.

Latex Creatures

Unlike Kaiju Paradise, TUF had a different list of entities dubbed 'Latex Creatures'. Majority of them have been removed, but some were brought over from TUF to Kaiju Paradise. This list contains the 'unique' ones that were brought over to KP or were not based on existing characters from DragonSnow's game. An image list of every TUF latex creature that existed can be viewed here.

Trivia

  • Originally, the game was meant to be for roleplaying rather than PvP.
  • The former owner got the idea of TUF in 2018 but actual development of TUF started in early 2020.
    • However, it was almost decided to be scrapped until Flip came and helped with the game.
    • After 3 months, Blaxor stepped in to help out too.
  • Despite the game's closure, certain people are still able to access and play the game.
  • Upon joining the game for its final hours, there was a cutscene dialogue that went as followed:<ref>https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/510886407770734645/992749828289335416/unknown.png Full dialogue, word by word, April 1 2021.</ref>
First Person Second Person
"These latex wont do us good.." "I know I know, l-look I'm trying to find a better way alright?"
"Heh.. a cure for the humanity?" "Look at what they have done to this facility.. not to mention that we're also fluffier and cuter after that but still.."
"It's just too hard for me to concentrate properly.."
"Plus being immortal isn't a bad thing but it just.. feels wrong.."
"This is why you shouldn't steal from Thunder Science in the first place.. and what are you going to be doing about this mess?" "..."
< WARHEAD HAS BEEN ACTIVATED >
"What are you thinking..?" "72 hours that's all we have.. if you want to get something done you better do it right now."
"Bad decision making as always." "Like if we have a choice at all."
"After we're done here let's get moving and relocate the entire facility to else where.."
"Let me guess is it that blue crystal cave?" "Heh you just completely read my mind.."
