The Underground Facility (Game)

The Underground Facility (often abbreviated to TUF), is the predecessor of Kaiju Paradise and The Final Experiment. It was based on a game made by DragonSnow, who copyrighted the game for stolen assets and content, leading to the game's temporary closure. It was opened again, but only available for 72 hours before permanently closing by a warhead nuke.

As of February 2022, it had 53.0k favorites and over 4.5M visits before its closure.

Gameplay

Like its successors, the game had the same playstyle; grabbing a weapon and fighting the infected.

The weapons remained relatively identical to the ones in their successors today other than hitboxes and rarity. There were a slight different selection of items that were in the game compared to now. There were also a different variety of transfurs that were in-game, most of them coming from DragonSnow's game.

Instead of Abble's Shop, the human's safe-zone had Ed's Weapons n' Things, a shop operated by Ed, a brown Sergal, instead of a certain removed individual. To get tokens, you had to get orange fruits that spawned around the map and trade them to the box near the shop. The items they sold slightly differed from the selection in Kaiju Paradise.

The map was completely different to the one seen in Kaiju Paradise; one side had was a part of the facility, while the opposite was a gas room, which led to more facilities. There used to be vents that only the infected could access.

Transfurs

Unlike Kaiju Paradise, TUF had a different list of entities, dubbed 'Latex Creatures'. Majority of them have been removed, but some had been brought over from TUF.

Trivia

• Originally, the game was meant to be for roleplaying rather than PvP.
• The former owner got the idea of TUF on 2018 and actual development of TUF started on early 2020.
  • However it was almost decided to be scrapped until Flip came and helped them out.
  • After 3 months, Blaxor (now Head Dev of TZB Studio) stepped in to help them out too.
• Despite the game closing, only specific people are able to access and play the game.
