Hazmat Suit

The Hazmat Suit is a form of protective gear for the humans that prevents certain damages to the player. It is found throughout the map at certain spawn locations.

Upon wearing the suit, the text "You feel safer with this thing on.." will pop up. When its torn apart, it will prompt the text "Your hazmat suit has been torn apart.."

VIP in private servers or admins can get the hazmat suits by using the command :hazmat,hazmatsuit

Appearance

The Hazmat Suit looks like a typical protective hazmat suit, with a yellowish coloration, colored bands, and gloves. There is a brand name written on it named "Laminax". Wearing one will override any clothing you are wearing, but not your accessories.

Effects

The damage you receive from infection hazards will be reduced significantly by 2 times from the original damage; It takes 8 hits from hazards for the hazmat to be destroyed<ref>(example: Crystals, all puddles, getting grabbed specifically to an instant hazards)</ref>. It will also reduce the grab damage by a tiny fraction and only gives you 1 extra second to escape. These damage resistances scales depending on the durability. Instant-infection hazards<ref>(example: Shork Fin, Toxic Rabbit canister)  </ref> will be blocked by the Hazmat Suit once and tear it apart on the process. <ref>hazmat suit https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/851495667134365756</ref>

It can also prevent the user from obtaining transfurmation accessories specifically and drop any of them if you previously get them before having a hazmat suit. It also prevents the donning of any other wearable items, as attempting to wear something else with a Hazmat Suit on will prompt the text "It's too tight, you can't take it off..", and won't let you wear it.

It halves the poison damage from Plantix<ref>update log hazmat suit resistance plantix https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/886890408217546792</ref>and prevents the user from getting their items stolen by Slime Pups, and before ConeKat got removed, it stopped the user from getting slowed down by ConeKat's drip effect.

They do not reduce the damage attack from the Gootraxians, and if infected by one while wearing a Hazmat Suit, the suit starts shaking violently and tears apart, turning you into a Hazzy.

Trivia

• The clothes were designed and made by Stew Fox.
• After torn apart, the cooldown will be ignored for a short window amount of time. This is considered to be a bug.
