Template:Gootraxian Plantix is a plant based Gootraxian covered in pink flowers with yellow pistils. They have mellow green colored fur with single thick, slightly darker stripes of fur on their wrists and ankles.

They have a very thick, dark green tail and neck fur, the former of which resembles a bush. The flowers on their tail and forehead are similar to the item needed to transform into one, the Strange Flowers.

Abilities

Poison Gas

Plantix can inflict a poisonous gas that slowly drains a Human's HP, although a hazmat suit halves the damage drain. This can only happens if you are attacking the tree near them or have completely taken it down in the Garden.

The poison damage lasts for 7 seconds, and the timer resets if they are hit by another Plantix affected by the buff. This poison is capable of dealing 23.4 to 30.4 damage,<ref>https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/510886407770734645/992372439113810001/unknown.png Update log of Plantix poison ability, September 13 2021.</ref> leading to an average damage output of around 60 damage per attack.

Acquirement

Plantix can be obtained by waiting for 35 seconds after smelling the Strange Flower that spawns in the Laminax Garden or by being infected by another Plantix Gootraxian. The dialogue after smelling the flower goes as follows:

• Out of your curioisity, you decided to smell it..
• What a beautiful scent..
• Your lungs feel odd..

Tips

Please note that most things listed in this section are not objective, and are not the "Correct" way to use them. This section is used to give advice to players who want to learn how to use their tools more efficiently.

• Due to the fact that it is impossible for Gootraxians to cut the tree down, it is recommended that you only rely on Plantix's poison if you have a human ally with a Chainsaw or Axe that can easily cut it down for you.
• Since a poison-buffed attack deals well over 60 damage most of the time, it's usually a good idea to avoid using grab for the duration of the buff.
  • Paired with a teammate who can grab opponents, it is extremely hard for humans to survive a grab + attack combo.

• Their passive poison buff used to be applied to all Gootraxians. • During initial release, Plantix had re-textured Shark ears instead of the current ear meshes.

• Despite their Bestiary photo showing a Plantix holding a Strange Flower, Plantix cannot interact with them in any way in-game.
