The Lang is a tanuki-red panda Gootraxian. It can be obtained by breathing in the blue gas in the gas maze until your screen turns blue, or by being near a Lang for too long.

A red-panda-styled Gootraxian with light white and blue translucent fur. Facial features having purple markings on its face going down from their eyes. Its arms and legs have purple bands of fur around them. With observation, their tails are assumed to be made out of 30% gas. Most of this species have a very calm attitude towards both Humans and Gootraxians. Research documented on how one becomes infected as this species is by being exposed to toxic gases for long periods of time. The subject becomes unconcious after a certain period once becoming infected.

The Lang is mostly periwinkle, with heather markings on its tail, limbs, and ears. It has a pattern that resembles tears under its eyes.
It has recently undergone a new redesign in optimization update v3D, notably the eyes being larger and more rectangular in shape with triangular points at the upper sides of the eyes, alongside new fur meshes on its head and on the sides of its face.

Attack
Does a decent amount of damage to a foe.
Grab
Grabs the enemy. Does more damage the longer the grab is active. The grab can be negated by somebody attacking you, or the victim breaking out of the grab by pressing the spacebar enough times.
Gas (passive)
Lang shares the same effect as the gas canisters, however at a slower pace. Note that it is stackable. This ability has been added in 3.1 and still remains.
