Concept Art

Many of the Raytraxian Costumes found in Kaiju Paradise were community made. Images of concept art for each costume, along with their creator(s), is shown below.

Trivia

  • The Flaming Kaiju was originally planned to be its own Raytraxian before being repurposed into a skin for the Kaiju
  • A large amount of Raytraxian Costumes change the appearance of their ability.
    • Kaiju's Flaming, Knight, and Mad Scientist costumes change the color of their Ion Beam.
      • Flaming and Mad Scientist turn orange, while Knight turns purple.
    • Hebi's Rattler costume changes their eyes, eye trails, and glow to be red instead of purple.
    • Catte's Scarecrow and Pumpkin Spice costumes change the bucket's appearance.
      • Scarecrow changes it to be a witch hat, while Pumpkin Spice changes it to be a white color.
    • Buck's Candy Trick costume changes the bucket to be a saturated purple color.
    • Saturn's Venus costume changes their rings to be gold instead of blue.
    • Nightcrawler's Steamcrawler costume completely redesigns their Pursue ability, and adds new hit particles to their Pummel.
    • Hazzy's Fun Guy costume changes their Hazmat texture to white.
    • Witchbrew's Swapbrew costume changes their double jump's particles to red and blue instead of purple and green.
  • Any Catte or Buck costumes that change their bucket's appearance only apply to the first bucket collected, with each subsequent bucket using the default bucket appearance.
  • Any Raytraxian with an ability that involves creating a puddle (such as Catte, Sircu, Dagoda, and Sprinklekit) will have the puddle's color change if they are using a Costume that changes the Raytraxian's skin color.
    • Currently, the only Costumes to do this are Tiger Catte and Poison Applekit, which both change the puddles to a dark orange color.
  • Tiger Catte is the only Raytraxian Costume to have two users listed as the contributors for one costume in-game.
    • As of a recent statement by Blaxor, only one contributor will be listed for costumes in the future.
  • All of the Raytraxians' costumes used to make Abble say "it cool costume!!!".
  • The lower portion of Sprinklekit's Frosted Cake skins are not exclusive to the flavor that is used in their icons.
    • While the top half depends on the costume equipped, the bottom half retains the flavor of the player's last eaten ice cream cone.
  • Most of Sprinklekit's costumes override any visual flavor differences, such as particle effects or glowing parts.
    • Despite the original Kaiju having a unique face when performing the ability, its costumes lack one, showing their blink face when performing the ability instead.
  • Prior to V3.3, the Orca Shork's blink expression would instead be its Low HP expression.
  • Classic Kaiju had a bug in which it would appear completely faceless.
  • Fun Guy is the only costume that can be obtained exclusively by Upgrading Rarity or Re-Crafting with no alternative obtainments.
  • Fun Guy, despite popular belief, is not a reference to anything.
  • Fun Guy and Steamcrawler are the first costumes to introduce audial changes, such as Fun Guy's blinking noise and Steamcrawler's unique Pursue sound.
