Lantern Shork

Lantern Shorks are the Blackout variant of the more common, regular Shorks. They are the replacement of Tiger Shorks<ref>https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/815998030963540028/922728881205674034</ref>. They are also community Gootraxians, designed by mysticalesta.

It has dark blue skin with lighter, more purplish colors on its muzzle, torso, paws and feet. It has light blue stripe-like patterns on its waist, arms, legs and ears. It has light blue eyes with patterns beside them. It has a mouth, but it is not seen until it is damaged.

Abilities

Lantern Shorks are capable of using the "Attack" and "Grab abilities like every other Gootraxian.

They also have more HP than the others, at 125 HP.

Obtainability

During a Blackout, normal Shork spots are replaced with glowing fins. If you walk into said spots, you will be transformed into a Lantern Shork. The other way is common with every other Gootraxian, as you must be infected by another Lantern Shork.

Bestiary Info

Highly volatile in temperament, Lantern Shorks use their bioluminescent glow to lure prey to their imminent end.

These Gootraxians lurk around the flooded rooms of the facility, their bioluminescence coming from special photophores in their skin that produce a faint, blue glow. These creatures are prone to violent episodes, going totally berserk with absolutely no control over their aggression. They are relentless at taken down their aggressors. Avoid at all costs.

Do not follow the lights in the water.
