Slime Hound

Slime Hounds are essentially the adult form of Slime Pups and look almost identical but stand bipedally instead of quadrupedally. Much like their juvenile form, they can also come in a variety of colors. They have a constantly angered expression. On top of coming in multiple colors, they also have Golden and Diamond variants similar to Slime Pups.

Abilities

Ghost Slime Hound are able to phase through players at any time and turn invisible for 5 seconds when hit, as well as having a unique levitating sleeping animation. The latter does not affect them in combat and is purely cosmetic.

Golden has 600 HP<ref name=":0">update log HP https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/856567609138741258</ref>. Upon death, Golden Hounds will drop 1.5k credits<ref name=":1">update log credits, food heal, and scale system https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/891892705406382091</ref> to whoever landed the killing blow and turn certain weapons that it was killed into a golden version of it. If the user leave the game, a golden grave will spawn and function similar to them in order to get the rewards, although the user itself won't be able to see or interact with it. <ref>gravestone https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/920677851445985330</ref>

Diamond has 900 HP<ref name=":0" />. When hit, they drop credits that scale to the amount of damage dealt to them. Upon death or leave, they will drop a Diamond Crate. They also drop 2,000 credits to whoever landed the killing blow as well as sending out a flurry of more credits that other players can pick up. The amount of credits showered out scales to the amount of players in the server and each ticket worth 20 - 25 credits.<ref name=":1" />

The scaling system is as follows:

if the amount of players are less than 17 then the spawn amount would

instantly be 35 or else it'd be

(Amount of players * 3) instead.

These rare variants are unable to die by running into the forcefield on the spawn area, getting crushed by the gates, or reset character. They cannot regen their HP naturally overtime<ref name=":02" />, however, they can still grab or attack to gain some of their HP back.

Obtainability

There are 3 common Slime variants and 3 rare variants.

In private servers, they can all be obtained by using the command :tf me Slimepup;color=[color]

Normal/Event

You may become a Slime Hound by either losing all of your HP to a pink puddle, or becoming infected by a another Slime Hound, which turns you into their color with the exception of rare variants. They also have unique power outage and blackout variants that can be obtained during their respective events.

Alternatively, they can become it by getting infected from one of the slime hounds that depending on the variant, will turn them into the color or variant of that too.

Golden and Diamond

Getting transformed into it has a 1/250 (0.4%) chance of turning you into a Golden Hound. The chance is lower when player count in server are below 15, at 1/750 [0.13%]<ref name=":2">chance to obtain update log https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/863837917700030534</ref>. Getting this rare variant will reward you with the "A Rare Variant" badge and the "Aureate" bat skin.

Being an even rarer variant, there is a 1/500 (0.2%) chance you may turn into a Diamond Hound. The chance is lower when players in server are below 15, at 1/1500 [0.07%]<ref name=":2" />. These variants are the rarest Gootraxians in the game.

Rainbow

They can only be achieved in private servers by nicknaming yourself a certain name.

Trivia

• Though only exclusive to private servers, it is possible to make Rainbow Slime Hounds.
  • The method of making them references the infamous "jeb_" Rainbow sheep easter egg from Minecraft.
• Upon the release V3.0 update, there was a bug where rare variants can turn humans into a rare variant too. This was fixed later on.
