Template:Gootraxian

Kaiju are the titular Gootraxians in Kaiju Paradise, and were created and designed by YukaChaan.

They appear to be dark-blue, reptilian humanoids with blue crystal spines running along their backs and tails. They have magenta-colored eyes with yellow irises.

Upon death, they have a chance to drop a Kaiju Basher. They also have a chance to drop a Strange Crystal, but this chance varies depending on how much of an infect streak a Kaiju has when killed. A Strange Crystal will not drop if the Kaiju that was killed did not infect anybody.

Abilities

While this appears to only be a visual difference, Kaiju are slightly larger in size than other Gootraxians.

Acquirement

Kaiju can be obtained via infection through the large blue crystals in the cave, or infection from another Kaiju Gootraxian.

Bestiary Entry

"A giant lizard-like creature that slowly has crystals growing outside of it's back. These crystals may vary in size and placement, but are mostly seen along the back of the creature.

Kaijus tend to be passive aggressive, and are very territorial. These tanky creatures tend to attack when provoked, but if you keep your distance, they will leave you be... most of the time.

The crystals in the main cave are actually shed scales that built up overtime. Touching any of those scales appear to be infectious, be careful of them.

Kaijus love spending time in the crystal caves or near water. While they do not swim often, they have shown to be very mobile in water and almost more aggressive."
