Badges are awards you receive when you do certain things in game, and may also grant you rewards in game. They cannot be obtained while playing on a private server.

- There used to be a badge called "Ferocious Move" which required the user to be near the Head Developer (BlaxorReborn), and feed a slime pup the watermelon. A Blaxor Tracker Bot was added on the TFE Discord Server to assist them.

- You were able to get the badge "???" by using a knife to kill Watermelon Shorks that had a 1/12 (8.34%) chance of dropping a whole watermelon. You had to hold E to collect the melon.

- It was possible to get all of the Infect Streak badges without infecting a single survivor at one point. This was done by repetitively grabbing or punching a small plushie on a table.
- The plushie was later given immunity to grabs and punches, thus patching the glitch.
- Yes, that really is the badge icon for the unused Skin Overload badge.
- The badge icon for the "Despair [under maintenance]" badge appears to be the texture used for the radios found around the facility and the Boombox.
