Template:Gootraxian Fashui are soap-based squirrel Gootraxians. It is the Power Outage variant of Feizao.

Fashui is an orange squirrel with short horns that glow a yellowish color. The tips of its arms, feet and inner ears are colored a darkish-red, with some light yellow fur on its stomach and muzzle. Its tail is dual colored, featuring orange as a base and yellow for its tip. The tip of its tail is capable of glowing during Power Outages and Blackouts.

Abilities

Slippery

Fashui were able to use a unique Slippery ability upon reaching a 2 infection streak, similar to Feizao, in which it would drip a orange-colored puddle of soap on the ground. Survivors who stepped on it would promptly slip and ragdoll. Slipping on the puddle as a survivor took away 10 HP every time and could even kill them.

This ability would take away 2 of your infection streak upon use and a total of four traps could have existed at a time.

Acquirement

Fashui used to be obtained by using the soap in the bathroom 6 times consecutively during a Power Outage or by being infected by another Fashui Gootraxian. The dialogue went as followed:

  • You decided to clean your hands..
  • That's way too much soap!

Trivia

  • Like its relative, its name likely comes from the translation of shampoo in Chinese (Fàshuǐ/发水).
    • According to its creator, the name was suggested by Chroma, and it is pronounced as "Fah-shay".
    • As stated in its relative's article, Fashui and Feizao are siblings, Fashui being the older sibling.
  • If someone grabs a survivor and moves them over the soap puddles formed from Slippery, the survivor is flung and ragdolled like normal, but it takes the grabbing Gootraxian with them.
    • This is currently the only way Gootraxians can ragdoll each other outside of Private Servers.
    • In some cases, it will instead release the survivor from the grab, but instead of ragdolling like normal, it will send them levitating upwards for the duration of the ragdoll.
      • This trait is shared with the Banana item.
  • Fashui are one of the only few Gootraxians who can outright kill survivors.
    • In this case, they can do so by using the Slippery ability, like Feizao.
  • Fashui and Feizao were heavily inspired off Skwovet from the Pokémon franchise.
  • Months before release, Fashui was accidentally made a Blackout variant instead of Power Outage before being pointed out.
  • Slippery used to have a visual error where it displayed Jammer's Distraction tooltip description (It's music time!).
    • This has been fixed and the tooltip description is now Slip and Slide!
  • Even before its removal, its death expression was never seen upon dying. It is unknown why this happened.
  • Like Feizao, if the player constantly hovers on and off of Fashui's Bestiary icon, the icon will spin and play the Slippery sound.
  • After Fashui was removed from the game completely, <ref>https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/595547279965028355/1014681987950313594/IMG_3940.png Update Log of Lang and the soap squirrels' removal.</ref> the soap bottles changed to have a new set of text upon attempting to transfur into a Fashui:
    • "Don't you feel silly using this much soap?"
    • "This is a bit excessive.."
    • "????"
    • "The bottle is empty.."
