Lantern Shorks are the blackout variant of the common, regular Shork. It replaced the Tiger Shork<ref>https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/815998030963540028/922728881205674034</ref> in update V3.1 and is a community-designed Gootraxian, created by mysticalesta.
It has dark-blue skin with lighter, purple-colored tones on its muzzle, chest, hands and feet. It has blue, bioluminescent, crescent-shaped markings on its waist, arms, legs and ear fins. It has a mouth, but this can only be seen when its expression state changes due to taking damage or dying.
Abilities
Lantern Shorks have slightly more HP than other Gootraxians, sitting at a base total of 125.
Acquirement
Players can obtain Lantern Shork by colliding with a glowing shark fin in the water during a blackout, or via infection through another Lantern Shork Gootraxian.
Bestiary Entry
"Highly volatile in temperament, Lantern Shorks use their bioluminescent glow to lure prey to their imminent end.
These Gootraxians lurk around the flooded rooms of the facility, their bioluminescence coming from special photophores in their skin that produce a faint, blue glow. These creatures are prone to violent episodes, going totally berserk with absolutely no control over their aggression. They are relentless at taken down their aggressors. Avoid at all costs.
