Template:Gootraxian Figs is a light blue colored fruit fly. They have green stripes and marks all over their body, as well as singular, large pink stripes on their wrists and ankles. They have four large, transparent wings on their backs as well as three dark purple horns and six thick, light blue hair puffs on their heads.

Their eyes match the color of the pink stripes on their arms, and their neck fur matches the color of their green body markings. Contrary to popular belief, it is not a moth.

Abilities

Increased Health (Passive)

Figs have much more health than other Gootraxians, with 130 HP.

Hover (Passive)

Figs are able to slowly float down to the ground by pressing the jump button while midair. Doing so retains their normal sprinting speed and negates all fall damage that would normally be taken. Once the hover is triggered, it cannot be turned off until the Figs has touched the ground.

Acquirement

Figs can be obtained by hitting the tree in the Garden and waiting 20 seconds after eating the Strange Fruit that falls from it or by being infected by another Figs Gootraxian.

Eating a Strange Fruit gives you the following dialogue:

Current

Adorned with hard exoskeleton, these insectile Gootraxians are the 2nd most durable species housed within the Laminax facilities. Having adapted to the violent nature of their environment, Figs have recently evolved stiff covering most prominently dominant around their joints, chest, and shoulders. Oddly enough, Figs still are fully capable of flight despite their weight gain caused by their newly acquired adaptations, nevertheless, they still are found not utilizing this ability as much as one would think. While their bright orange wings are thought to have gone unused, this species has been found using them for communication, signaling other figs with the vibrations they can produce, warning others to possible threats. It is not recommend you eat, touch, or pick any fruit found within the garden, Laminax is not liable for loss of humanity.

Pre-V3.3.1

Appearing to be insects of indeterminate species, Figs are insectile Gootraxians that appear frequently in and around the Laminax facility garden. While lightweight enough to be capable of flight, they do not seem to do so very often and much prefer to traverse the facility on foot. They instead use their wings as a method of communication, using the produced vibrations to signal to other Figs what could be possible threats. It is not recommended that you eat the fruit that falls from the tree in the center of the garden.

Trivia

• Figs had a slight redesign in V.3.0, followed by a complete rework in V3.3.1.
• Figs is the only Gootraxian that has no tail.
  • Despite this, Figs does have an abdomen on their back, which could be considered a tail.
• According to Figs' creator, it is stated that it and Plantix have a sibling-like relationship and would not like them to be shipped together.
  • It is unknown if this also applies to Azarue.
• Currently, it's one of the few Gootraxians to have a costume, being the Beetle Figs.
