Lemon Shork

Template:Gootraxian Lemon Shorks are yellow sharks with banana-yellow underbellies. They have four dark green eyes with lighter green pupils, the bottom of which are slightly smaller and narrower. They have slightly darker stripes on their bodies and two pairs of gills on their torso, of which the insides will glow during any event.

Unlike their similarly designed counterpart, the Shork, they have fins on their arms and back. They also have two leaves on top of their head, something no other Shork-type has.

Abilities

Increased Health (Passive)

Lemon Shork has more health than other Gootraxians, at 120 HP.

Blur

Lemon Shork can blur the players' screens for 5 seconds every time the player is grabbed or attacked by one with a 1/3 chance, which can be stacked. Upon being subject to this ability, the prompt "Lemon juice got in your eyes!" will appear.

Acquirement

Lemon Shorks can be obtained by holding a Lemon Slice while walking into a Shork fin in the Flooded Areas when there is no event occurring. You can also become one by being infected by another Lemon Shork Gootraxian.

Bestiary Entry

Large shark Gootraxians with a unique double pair of eyes, Lemon Shorks appear to be the result of a lemon combining with a regular Shork. These Gootraxians can be aggressive and highly protective of others of their kind. They tend to form groups with others as well, and appear to be most active in low light, as their two highly developed pairs of eyes enable them to see clearly during these conditions. Their bodies contain a chemical not too dissimilar to lemon juice, and getting it in your eyes may leave you blinded and in a fair amount of pain. Do not feed lemon slices to the Shorks.

Trivia

• In its concept art, it was originally called the Golden Shork.
• Upon being hit, dying or grabbing someone, the pre-V3.1R design's face appeared to have either simple two eyes or in the grab face's case, three.
  • This appears to be a drawing error from Blaxor, who drew a majority of the Gootraxians' faces, with a few exceptions.
  • Currently, this ocurrence can be seen on the V3.1R death face.
• The Blindness effect that they have is similar to the one applied to Hebis and their replacement, the Panthers upon being exposed to a Flashlight or a Sprinklekit's glowing eyes during Blackouts.
• Lemon Shork and Wisp are currently the only shark Gootraxians in the game to have fins on their arms.
  • Tiger Shork, Lantern Shork and Melon Shork (before its redesign) also had these extra fins when they were in the game.
• Currently, it's one of the gootraxians to have a costume, being the Tropical Lemon.
