Template:GootraxTab Template:Gootraxian Shork is a grey shark Gootraxian. It has large golden eyes, dark grey spots and stripes cover its body. It also has a white underbelly and "paws". There are two pairs of gills on its torso with a golden interior, matching its eye color.

Acquirement

Shorks can be obtained by colliding with one of the Shorks in the Flooded Area or by being infected by another Shork Gootraxian.

Bestiary Entry

Current

The most common of the aquatic test failures, the Shork is a gootraxian that once was contained to designated water chambers now fill flooded rooms within the facility due to a faulty water system that was an oversight to the Shork's jumpy behaviour.

Shorks are naturally curious, although this curiosity is not supplemented by courage at all, quick to jump, bite, and thrash at anything that surprises them in an instinctual leap - and as prior observed, not even in a means to aggress, but volatile surprise.

Due to their general docile behaviour, Shorks are content in sharing their waters and even territory with other of the same Kind, only ever lashing out if anything were to bump into and startle them.

It has also been observed that these creatures react strangely with habitat changes and the power within the facility. Documentation ongoing.

Pre-V3.3.1HW

The most common of the aquatic test failures, the Shork is a gootrax that lurks in the water contained areas of the facility. While as of recent certain rooms have been flooded due to them biting at the water pipes, these gootrax have shown to be some of the most aggressive due to their original animal nature.

While harnessing this aggression would be good for our final goal, these tests have only shown for them to act out as wild animals, hunting mainly in their waters to protect their territory.

Beware of the fins that roam the deep waters.

Trivia

  • In earlier versions, Shork had striped patterns on its ears, fins and tail. It was removed for unknown reasons.
    • These features appeared to have been given to the Tiger Shork before its removal.
  • Also in earlier versions, upon transforming, the hair accessories would've changed to be a white color.
    • It was eventually recolored to grey instead.
  • The current design of Shork made its debut in the KE Combat Test game as its planned V3.2 design.
  • It is the only Gootraxian that has not been removed since it's debut in The Underground Facility.
  • Oddly, Shork's Bestiary icon when not hovered doesn't have a visible mouth.
