⭐ Gootraxian created by: Mysticalesta

Template:Gootraxian

Carnelines are community-designed Gootraxians that were created by Mysticalesta. They are only available for acquirement during Power Outages and were the first community-designed Gootraxian to be added to Kaiju Paradise.

They have dark purple fur with red crystal spines on their backs, and two glowing horns protruding from their foreheads. Red crystalline markings cover their chests, knees and tails. They emit a soft, pink light.

Carnelines have a 1/8 (12.5%) chance to drop a Carneline Striker, and in rarer cases can drop a Strange Crystal. However, the chance of dropping a Strange Crystal also depends on how much of an infect streak they have upon death. A Strange Crystal will not drop at all if the Carneline that is killed did not infect anybody.

The chance for the Strange Crystal works as so:

<math>12 + [(Streak - 3) * 3.75], 12 = Random</math>

<math>Random</math> = Generated number from 0 - 100.

<math>Streak</math> = Player's current infection streak. It must be 3 or higher<ref>https://discord.com/channels/786788486887768135/821381992779218955/922127250185400380</ref>.

Abilities

During Power Outages only, their attack damage increases and deals more damage than normal.

Acquirement

Carnelines can be obtained via infection through the large, red crystals in the cave or infection from another Carneline Gootraxian.

Bestiary Entry

With reddish-pink, crystalline horns and growths covering their bodies, Carnelines only appear to show themselves during the power outages the facility may spontaneously experience.
The crystal growths covering Carnelines' bodies are made of similar elements to that of the larger crystals sprouting inside the cave - however these feline Gootraxians' internal body structure is an entirely different story, with muscle and bone instead being a hard, blue, yet flexible crystalline material that seems to be highly durable. This sought-after material can be easily seen more easily by breaking any of the crystals protruding from their body, particularly their horns. The powder-like crystal dust in their neck fur is almost if not just as mysterious as their internal crystalline material, as it appears to have unusual magnetic properties.

Keep an eye on the crystals in the cave when power outages occur.
